This is the closest you can ge tto St.James Trinidad ice cream. I love the Soursop, Coconut and Rum Raisin. If you are in the area check them out at Nostrand and Ave D. Get acone first and then a pint. :-)
One Of my go to spots since I was a kid! Grapenut is my absolute fave!!!!! It's always packed with people but that's a good thing, the ice cream is always yummy!!! The vibe is like any ice cream shop you would find in the heart of Flatbush!

Absolutely the best ice cream I've had in Brooklyn. So far, we've tried grape nut, guava, and Irish moss. All amazing. Are the staff going to gush over you? Maybe not, but they will give you excellent homemade ice cream at a very reasonable price and in a decent size. The guava tastes like fresh guava, and the Irish moss tastes like Christmas: so good.
