Sandwiches are delicious but ft. Or the price they are a little small. Very popular place, however, so be prepared to wait in line for a little while

This is our usual first stop when getting into town Staff is friendly Food is tasty and even though there is always a line, it moves quickly without feeling rushed

I was in the neighborhood, and looking for Vegan options for lunch. The metal grate was down, and the place was closed. Maybe permanently? Looks like it.

I purposely went to Word Up Cafe to see what was happening. I was amazed. Word Up is a small intimate Cafe which holds a large variety of venues. When I got there there, they were having a Book reading & study session, which was eye-opening and informative. The soup was a filling and delicious bonus to the day. They also have Spoken Word nights where people can recite their poems, essays, food for thought, etc. They also have a small outdoor eating area which is great for the warmer weather months. I think that it is a hidden Jewel in the East New York area. I will be returning.

This is a great place to stop for a healthy bite to eat, a delicious smoothie, and a nutritious herbal tea! They even have open mic night and gospel brunches. It's a nice atmosphere to get some work done as well.

A slight hunger pang and a sweet tooth led me to this small, quaint, beautiful establishment. Colorful art and tasteful photography adorned the walls, while arts and crafts, along with books were harmlessly scattered around, waiting for a curious customer to pick them up.The food was delicious and varied. Vegan options are available. Natural smoothies, juices, and teas are also available. But the one thing that stole my palette was the Banana Pudding. A1! Prices are reasonable and affordable. Come through!

Gospel brunch is every first Saturday open mic with food on sale. The banana pudding is to die for the best I've had in my life. The food is delicious and black owned. The cafe is only open every Thursday and Friday 4pm-8pm and on Saturdays 12-5

From the first step in to this establishment I was welcomed by such great energy. This sweet little cafe offers such a wide variety of healthy on the go options. Staff is so attentive and will not hesitate to adjust any menu item to your personal preference. I had the chicken caesar salad wrap and their infamous homemade banana pudding.Would highly recommend ?
