I purposely went to Word Up Cafe to see what was happening. I was amazed. Word Up is a small intimate Cafe which holds a large variety of venues. When I got there there, they were having a Book reading & study session, which was eye-opening and informative. The soup was a filling and delicious bonus to the day. This is a great place to stop for a healthy bite to eat, a delicious smoothie, and a nutritious herbal tea! They even have open mic night and gospel brunches. It's a nice atmosphere to get some work done as well.
A slight hunger pang and a sweet tooth led me to this small, quaint, beautiful establishment. Colorful art and tasteful photography adorned the walls, while arts and crafts, along with books were harmlessly scattered around, waiting for a curious customer to pick them up.The food was delicious and varied.
