Stopped in here on a whim to check them out as a new restaurant in the neighborhood. Firstly, I always love a spot where I can get breakfast anytime! Secondly, it also helps when that food is also yummy as my meal was. I got the Beulah special, which came with two pancakes or French toast (I got one of each), eggs, homefries, and breakfast meat of your choice (sausage). Admittedly this glowing review might be more about finding an establishment within walking distance in the West Side that serves a classical breakfast on the weekends, but in providing for that, it says a lot about the actual vision of the place too. When we sat down and looked at the menu, they seemed to anticipate the thirst for exactly what I'm talking about.
