I need you to stop what you're doing and go to blackbird. Everything I've had from there is delicious!! The funfetti cookies, soft, chewy and flavorful. The chocolate cookies in the "build your own cookie sandwich", delicious and such a cute idea. All of their cupcake the vanilla, the blackbird, the peanut butter, the red velvet are some of the best cupcakes I've ever had in my life and I eat A LOT of cupcakes. Easily top 5 best bakeries in WNY.

Wonderful place on Hertel. It shares a space with some other kinds of products, but Blackbird is the star. I appreciate the quality of the products. The cupcakes are quite good and have a great ratio of cake to icing (some places overdo the icing). The buckeye cupcakes are great and I crave them once in awhile. Also, random - they have a great sprinkles collection. I don't use sprinkles very often, but it is nice to have them once in awhile, so having a bag of special ones makes things even nicer.

My wife and I first discovered Blackbird while trying out bakeries for our wedding desserts and have been hooked ever since. We got an assortment of mini cupcakes, brownies, brookies, and sugar cookie bars for our wedding and everything was a hit amongst our guests. We have been loyal patrons ever since and have yet to have a dessert from Blackbird that was not top tier.

Snacks are delicious, ambiance is cozy AND entertaining, and servers go out of their way to meet their needs. Tricky to find, as the pasta sign is way easier to see, but totally worth heading in. Wonderful noshing experience!

Very cute store with lots of options. The woman who cashed us out was very nice and informative about what we were buying. Tried the Pride rainbow cookie and it was delicious!! Looking forward to trying the raviolis from the pasta peddler in the same building.

We buy their cupcakes for every birthday. The best in the city. Very happy to have them in our neighborhood and the support they provide as a small business to North Buffalo is awesome.

I never realized that this bakery is literally/kindaish next door to kostas. I’ve passed by multiple times and never thought this was here. Either way, I went in after I saw a hate post and wanted to give my support. I got myself a slice of PRIDE cake and cookie. The cake was moist and delicious. It’s a bit too sweet for me; I would skip the frosting that’s on top and in between the cake layers. I warmed up the cookie & enjoyed it. They were individually packaged. Not sure if they were baked the same day or not. There wasn’t much of a huge selection maybe bc it was the weekend? Next time I’ll try some cupcakes. A bit pricey but these days everything is lol

This bakery is outstanding! I bake so I'm pretty fussy... I tried a frosted brownie- so moist and is real chocolate in the brownie and the frosting. The. crumb cake has the deep and generous crumb topping. Both items I triedwe're absolutely perfect! oh how I wish I lived closer so I could make trips there until I sampled everything!
Super delicious bakery treats that taste out of this world, and the best part they also have really amazing homemade pasta and sauces. Try out everything. Its worth it. The owner was great and helpful with the choices of food I picked. Thank you for all the great treats.

I got a cheesecake parfait, a peanut butter brownie, and the blackbird cupcake. All of them were delicious but the cupcake was definitely the star of the show. I typically am not a huge fan of cake but I will definitely be back for some more cupcakes!

I got 4 dozen cupcakes for my kids college graduation. First of all, Andrea the owner was so pleasant and accommodating. Secondly, they were so moist, delicious, and fresh! She was so nice to do the schools’ colors. Everyone at the party was asking where I got them because they were so good! Thank you! :)
