I was in yesterday for soup & a roast beef sandwich. The soup was great but sadly the roast beef was not. The beef was not overcooked & looked very appetizing, however, it was extremely tough so I would think twice before ordering the sandwich. I will not be returning to the Elmwood location.
I was in town 08JAN2024 for a business trip and found Charlie the Butcher's Carvery because I wanted a local restaurant. I ordered the Roast Beef on a Weck roll, mashed potatoes with beef gravy, and a slice of raspberry pie. Elisse was patient while I decided what to order and prepared my food to go quickly.
