One time many years ago, as it was throwing my wrappings into the garbage can, the flip-top smacked my ring and knocked out a pretty good-sized amethyst. When I saw that I threw the ring in the garbage. The manager of Jim's Steakout on the corner of Allen Street and Elmwood Avenue in Buffalo New York saw me do that, and went through that huge nasty dirty bag of garbage twice looking for the amethyst, twice! The food was mostly good. We ordered a Philly steak, steak deluxe and a stinger hoagie. The only issue was large tough pieces of gristle in the deluxe steak hoagie that I nearly choked on.
