Tappo Restaurant offers generally good food with large portions, though there are some notable exceptions. The calamari and eggplant parmigiana were not well-received, with the calamari described as hard and lacking flavor, and the eggplant parmigiana as heavily fried and dominated by ricotta cheese. However, the stuffed banana peppers, oricchiete, and chicken dish were all praised as wonderful. The Brasciole and truffle fries were also very good. The restaurant accommodates large parties well, and the service is fantastic, even during busy times like Restaurant Week. Overall, Tappo Restaurant provides a fun dining experience with good value for the price, though diners should be selective in their menu choices to avoid the few disappointing dishes.
