“We frequent Italian restaurants and I have to say this one is on the top of my list. Living in NYC it’s hard to find quality Italian upstate, and I have to say this place is fantastic. Definitely worth the visit, you won’t leave disappointed.“

“We went to KIX on Main on the recommendation of a friend. We have just returned to the community and took a Friday evening chance. We were not disappointed, but rather amazed! We shared a wedge salad which was huge and just perfect for two. Not over-dressed with huge gobs of the usual commercial dressing , just the right with bits of tasty cheese and bacon. The only little touch missing was house-made croutons...these were commercial. We moved on to a pair of haddock sandwiches. 12 oz fillets nestled in what appeared to be a seeded brioche bun These are easy to ruin, but ours were as close to perfect as I have ever had. Lightly battered, perfectly cooked, and not the least bit greasy!!! They were served with a mound of fresh French fried potatoes, and a side of coleslaw. Now coleslaw is usually an insipid blob of over mayo'd cabbage. This, however was perfectly dressed slaw with just a hint of horseradish...a game changer!! With more beers on tap than I can count with my fingers and toes, and a very nice, not over-priced wine list, this is a great place for dinner, or a night at the bar with a friend! Do yourself a favor, and just go!! You won't be disappointed!!“

“My husband and I made a last min reservation on Saturday 2/26. We were sat at our table in the back corner and were not approached at all for 15min. Eventually we made eye contact with someone at the bar and Caleb come running over apologizing. They dropped the ball on assigning a server to us so he took care of us. He was extremely apologetic and comped our drinks which was very nice of him. We are a level headed couple so there was no need for us to escalate anyways. We appreciated how attentive Caleb was to us even when he was multitasking in the kitchen as well!My burger was delicious and perfectly cooked and my husbands chicken sandwich was delicious as well. Huge portions! Everything was hot and fresh. We ordered the Zeppoli to go and it was a nice treat when we got home.We will be back! I appreciated the accountability and transparency from Caleb.“

The friendly, attentive servers provided exceptional customer service to everyone in our group of fourteen. Our meals arrived all at once and were prepared to perfection. We dined in a private, separate room from the busy main restaurant, which made our party even more enjoyable.I apologize for not posting pics of the delicious food, but we were caught up in the moment, and any photos have people in them.I know fourteen people who highly recommend Nick’s Chophouse for a great dinner.Parking: Unlimited parking.“
