“Overall our experience was great. The food is a little expensive but that’s somewhat standard here in the Finger Lakes. Everything we had was great, and the service at the table was really good. The only real negative was that we had a reservation for 5 and they put us at a 4 top with an extra chair. Normally I wouldn’t care enough about this to mention, but immediately before we were seated they put a party of 4 at a 6 top. Again mildly frustrating but not nearly enough for me not to recommend them, and I certainly plan to give it another shot next time I’m in the area.Parking: It was a bit difficult to find from the parking lot as you have to go through The Lake House, but there are some signs that get you close enough that you can find it.“

“Simply Crepes in Canandaigua was outstanding! I ordered shrimp and grits and asked for the shrimp to be substituted for chicken, which was welcomed by the chef. The service was amazing and the chicken was divine! If you're in the area or not, this is a must try restaurant!“

“Stopped in for breakfast with family and was highly impressed! Best eggs benny I have had in a long time, seriously the best! The fried potato’s with peppers and onions hit the spot. All the food we had was excellent. 5 stars!!! We will be back. Check out Finger Lakes Plates. Great food, great service, our waitress was amazing. Finger Lakes Plates simply the best!!!“

“Absolutely incredible. The restaurant was very busy when we went but it didn’t affect our service or food. The food was delicious and very cheap. Our server Leena was absolutely fantastic. She was very helpful and funny. She also was very attentive even though the restaurant was slammed. Our food took maybe 10 minutes at the most for it to be cooked. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant and I will for sure be back.“

“Wow, this place is amazing! We got there right before the rush. Very kind staff. My son ordered a dish too spicy so they took it off our bill and let him order something different. This has become my go to when I'm in the area. Lots of yv screens, great menu and awesome staff!“

“I have gone here before for ice cream but never to eat. I came her with a friend for lunch which she suggested and I had the chicken salad in a waffle cone. It was delicious!! I wanted to have another one! It was fresh and you could tell it was in house made. I also had a butter cream milkshake that was really good to! The atmosphere is relaxed. You can go there to hang out and probably just chill with a book in the comfortable chairs. The owner is very nice, family owned. I will definitely go back for lunch and of course for ice cream!“

“We frequent wallys for burgers. Tonight we decided on wings. My man in the kitchen (who apparently also works at the green front) went above and beyond. He got us drinks and checked us out when the bartender was tending to other patrons. It was a very good experience for wanting to have drinks and get food but also get out quickly. Super pleased.“

“Lock stock is a classic old ski town style bar and restaurant, with good food and a classic environment straight from an 80s ski movie! The food is good and everything is homemade . The soups are always good, and the Mac and cheese- wings - and salads were all great! The only reason in not gouging the service 5 stars is because I told the lady my drink order, as clearly and to make it simpler.. yet, she did all the things I ask not to have.. and didn't do put the juice in my drink.Apart from that, this place was solid!“

“First time visit, many friends had recommended Eastside and we finally got there. Sat at the bar as we didn't know if we were going to eat, until the bartender put down the specials menu in front of us and we couldn't resist. 2 bartenders, both super attentive and friendly. Food was fantastic, with ample portions. Some live music playing while we were there, loud enough to hear, but quiet enough so you could talk. We will be back for sure. A+ all around!“
“I stayed here in the summer of 2009 for a wedding. I know that was 15 years ago. This past weekend we meet up with some old friends, who also stayed at the Lafayette. With shared some laughs and talked about the trip and how kind the staff was. The breakfast at the restaurant was incredible. I believe it was a gentlemen named Terry who we all remembered. A very kind man. Service lacks these days at so many places and industries. I hope all is still well at the Lafayette.“

“Good for some smaller portions for the same price some more though, but overall the service is good the staff is nice and I would like to see that the veterans still receive their discounts as they had in the past because they spend their money there“

“Delivery was early. Nice! I had the "Philly Plate". The meat sauce was amazing! Not only did it lend heat, but it had a savory-ness that was perfect! The portions were excellent. The Mrs informed me her Cuban sandwich was satisfying.“

“Went to Rays for breakfast which was very good. Got the bill and there is charge for toast. Since when do you get charged for toast with eggs. The waitress should tell her customer that there is a extra charge for toast.“

“Had a great time here. Food and service was fantastic, and I really liked the dining area. It had a decent view of passing traffic and the lake in the distance. Will definitely come back.Parking: Parking on the side and behind the building.“

“Peppers is a gem in canandaigua. There's something for everyone and it's all delicious. You can tell they take pride in their product before you even take a bite based on presentation alone. Steaks and burgers are always cooked exactly how you order them. On top of this the service is friendly and genuine. This is one of those places that make it hard to go other places and I'm fine with that.“

“Took a day trip into Canandaigua and stumbled upon this wonderful establishment. I had a Ruben sandwich, my daughter had the eggs Benedict. During our meal, my daughter divulged her dislike for Ruben sandwiches, so I asked her if she would at least like to try a bite of mine because I thought this was one of the better Rubens I've had. She obliged and to her surprise, she said it was ok!. So great improvement. That being said, we both loved our meals. The service was amazing and very accommodating. It was a late Saturday morning, so there were plenty of people enjoying the day. We also had mimosas?Parking: I seen some spots on the street, but there was a lot down a side road“

“Great place to eat as long as they don't get to busy. Staff is very friendly and Great at getting you and your whatever you need. Fridays and Saturday nights are usually the busiest and might have to wait but it is well worth the wait. Hope you get a chance to try this and hopefully this will convince you to take a chance and give it a try!!!!!“

“I really like this place it's a mixed crowd which I love. They have a live DJ on Saturdays and the food smells amazing but I've never had it lol and the drinks are A1Parking: The parking seems limited to me and they just added a sign saying if you park in any lots across the street you will be told so that's no fun while you're getting drunk lol be sure to park on the side of the bar“

“We went to KIX on Main on the recommendation of a friend. We have just returned to the community and took a Friday evening chance. We were not disappointed, but rather amazed! We shared a wedge salad which was huge and just perfect for two. Not over-dressed with huge gobs of the usual commercial dressing , just the right with bits of tasty cheese and bacon. The only little touch missing was house-made croutons...these were commercial. We moved on to a pair of haddock sandwiches. 12 oz fillets nestled in what appeared to be a seeded brioche bun These are easy to ruin, but ours were as close to perfect as I have ever had. Lightly battered, perfectly cooked, and not the least bit greasy!!! They were served with a mound of fresh French fried potatoes, and a side of coleslaw. Now coleslaw is usually an insipid blob of over mayo'd cabbage. This, however was perfectly dressed slaw with just a hint of horseradish...a game changer!! With more beers on tap than I can count with my fingers and toes, and a very nice, not over-priced wine list, this is a great place for dinner, or a night at the bar with a friend! Do yourself a favor, and just go!! You won't be disappointed!!“
