“Had an amazing Birthday dinner at Arlo last night! They gave me a lovely Birthday card which was so sweet. Started off with a delicious Moscow Mule, made perfectly. For the appetizer we chose the fried calamari. Light and crispy, the portion is huge. For mains I had the crispy duck breast and my fiancé had the shrimp. My duck was cooked to perfection and the blackberry gastrique was so incredible it made the dish. My fiancé loved his shrimp. For dessert we shared and devoured the baked Alaska. The side table flambé was so fun and made the night super special. Also can’t forget the complementary champagne they gave us for my birthday. I loved the low light and warm decor of Arlo made it so romantic and added to the specialness of the night. Oh and the service was really impeccable. Definitely will be coming back!“

“This is my favorite steakhouse on Long Island. From the valet service to the bussers everyone is friendly and extremely welcoming. For the prices you cannot beat it for the quality of the food they serve. We absolutely love the thick cut bacon and always order an appetizer special. Tonight we had the pierogi which were delicious. I highly reccomend the ribeye as this is one of the most tender steaks I’ve had served to me. Better than most restaurants who claim a 45 or 60 day dry aged. The service here is fantastic you will not see an empty drink on your table and they do not leave any crumbs on your table. Desserts are always amazing. Tartufo is one of my favorites here and the cheesecake is delicious. DONT FORGET TO GET THE MAC AND CHEESE. That is one of my favorites on the menu. I could eat a bowl myself.“

“Everything was exceptional!! From the service, ambiance and food. We even had the option to sit outside. Pricey but worth the experience. The service is friendly and not stuffy. Very attentive and they know the menu.Had the aged, strip for two. It was cooked to perfection & literally melted in your mouth.“

“Fabulous as always! Food was wonderful, our server Taylor is attentive, knowledgeable, and so wonderful! Ron, the manager, checked on us multiple times and is always extra considerate! We have recommended Bliss to so many people and will continue to do so! Ambiance, food, and quality is superb!“

“Very pricey but understandable with inflation and all so it is what it is and it’s still good food. We each got a seafood boil and the sauce was good this time (it’s a hit or miss). It’d be great if they offered a platter option. I’m used to Monster Crab (I usually go to the one in Holtsville), where we would get so much more for what we paid.“

“I had my daughter's bridal shower there on April 20th. From the first moment I walked in, Patty was a tremendous help. She was warm, friendly and confident in answering all of my questions. The staff was excellent, attending to all of our guests needs. The food was delicious- everyone raved about it. I would highly recommend The Snapper Inn.“
“Been going to these guys since day one. Local people supporting local baymen ? Nice, helpful staff and always willing to find what I'm looking for. The new kitchen is awesome. Always delish and stocked to the gills. I'm here at least once a week and I've reccomended J&M to dozens of people who have traveled as far from Queens just for their quality and service. My gotos are the clams/oysters, sushi grade tuna and fresh salmon (when in season!) Don't be misled by competitors! Do your research ppl! “My family and I enjoyed a nice brunch. Coquito French toast, chocolate chip pancakes, scrambled eggs and hash browns, Cuban sandwich, and sweet plantains were all excellent. Only area for improvement was that the time to bring out the main course was too long (20 or 30 minutes) after we had finished the plantains.“

“I've been wanting to dine here for quite some time and finally had a chance. We made reservations to celebrate my friend's birthday. The staff was great. When you arrive, you are greeted by very friendly valet attendants. Make sure you tip them well. They are fabulous, and there is no charge for the service. Our server's name was Mary Rose. Very nice lady. She didn't miss a beat and made sure to celebrate my friend's birthday. Excellent service! As for the food, we ordered from the specials. The clams were fabulous. We did have to request bread a few times, but it was worth it because the sauce was that good. You wanted to enjoy every drop.We also ordered the lobster bisque. It had a few pieces of real lobster in it, but the broth had too much corn starch or whatever thickener they used. It made it thick like glue and not very tasty. This was disappointing, especially after such a wonderful appetizer. The swordfish was seasoned and cooked perfectly. It came with risotto, which was completely overcooked and mushy. It went back, and a side of plain potatoes with shredded carrots and stringbeans were brought out in its place. The string beans should have been prepped better. I almost choked on one because it had not been prepped. We also ordered the grouper, which was also good. It was served with mashed potatoes. They were buttery. I would suggest them over the roasted potatoes any day.For dessert, we ordered carrot cake. It was great. Not overly sweet and covered with a lot of nuts. The whipped cream was fresh and thick. It was served with a fresh strawberry. This is a really beautiful restaurant with great service. Perhaps the kitchen was having an off night, but it was a decent evening. I can't rate it 5 stars for the food, but everything else was great. I can't say I am going to rush back here, but if I come back, I hope the food is better, especially for the price.Parking: The valet are great. Tip them well. They work hard!“

“We’ve ordered through uber eats twice and have been so happy every time! The margarita pizza and the vodka pie are both great.I was prompted to review with 5 stars because i ordered a ginger ale, and they didnt have any. Not only did they read the order instructions and replace it with a sprite, they also left an apology note on my drink! They not only have stellar food, but they clearly have great people working for them too.“

“Last night we had a delectable dinner at Basil. The chilien sea bass jumped from the sea in my plate. The seasoning was perfect. The rice was cooked to perfection. The cuisine is light and tasty. My husband had the beef skewers which he enjoyed and he is very difficult to please. Desert got a high mark with the baklava and the chocolate bread pudding which you should not miss. The service was perfect. The ambiance was noisy and bubbly. We will definitely return to Basil for its excellent table.“

“I've lived in the area for years and never been inside this place until two weeks ago. The inside of the establishment has this classy old-school charm about it. It was a tiny bit confusing because they had the podium in the front by the door and the sign on it said to wait there I noticed everybody walked in anyway so I just went. Maybe they can hide that somewhere else until it's that time of the night or something? Anyway, one of my favorites slices is the grandma slice and I had to try theirs because it was suggested over and over to me by many people. So after finally trying one slice, I ended up buying a whole pie and taking it home. Yes, it's a tiny bit expensive in comparison to the other places locally but the quality of pie is worth the extra money. If you want to be taken back in time and enjoy a great slice then come here.“

“I'm a truck driver, me and my wife, we were delivering nearby. This place came highly recommended for my last stop on Long Island. Ended up being far far better than I expected. Tough to find good Italian authentic food these days. From the minute I walked in the door so accommodating, The food was to die for, definitely not finishing an entree. I got one of the small entrees and I couldn't finish half of it. Excellent food, excellent service, and very very relaxing atmosphere. Just a good meal all the way around at " La famiglia"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“

“In the event you're down and quarantining with Covid or flu, do yourself a favor and order a delivery of Tortilla soup! It does the body good, is so healing and will help your throat. Just spicy enough with chicken and toppings included, a large order is good for a couple of meals. The mini enjoyed a large portion of Pork Nachos and a side of rice & beans.I've not been in the restaurant, but the delivery option made me happy!“

“We had a Mothers Day celebration Sunday at this fabulous seafood restaurant. There were 15 of us- 9 adults and six children between 5 and 12. We traveled an hour to get there. The food was delicious- fresh, tasty and the portions were so large that everyone took a doggy bag home. It was served by a great staff including Angel who was our server. The owner, Donna, was very cordial and friendly. Everyone had a great time. We can't wait for our next family dinner to return. This is a must restaurant if you are a seafood lover!!“

“I dont have much to say about this place pero their papusas are fantastic. I finally stopped in here after eyeing it for so long, and I'm glad I did. The cabbage that comes with it in the red saucy thing is the best I've ever had. They have a variety on their menu and they do take credit card for all you non-cash people!“
“Northport Fish & Lobster Co hosted our raw bar (oysters, clams and shrimp cocktail) at our backyard party for 30pp this past weekend. Not only were they amazing the day of but also during pre-planning! They came to check out my yard ahead of time to see where they would set up, offered me two boat options to serve the seafood out of, and they checked in continuously throughout the process. Pricing was great and the raw bar was a huge hit. Highly recommend!!“

“Came here on a casual night drive and by dinner time we didn't know where to stop to eat. We were driving on the 27A and looking for places for dinner and we came across this place with very good ratings. Food is very good and well made. The Miso soup was not overly salted as some other Japanese places I've been. The décor is very typical of Japanese as it has these semi private booths which I have never seen before in any Japanese restaurants. Really liked this place and service was attentive. Even though it's a bit far from where I live I will def stop by when I am near this establishment.“

“First time here. The fried shrimp and lobster bisque was delicious! The outdoor seating is nice. I'll bet that fire pit is amazing at night. Not sure if you are dog friendly so we left our furry companion in the car while we ate at one of the picnic tables outside to keep an eye on her. Definitely looking forward to our next meal here.“

“I have no idea why it has taken me so long to try this place but I went in for my sister's birthday a few weeks ago. We ordered the wood ear mushroom salad, edamame and the Shanghai soup dumplings for appetizers. The mushrooms are reason alone to go back. My entrée was the dry pot chicken which came in a wok lit by sternos underneath and full of dried peppers with a perfect amount of Sichuan peppercorns. My mouth was oscillating between the delicious burn and the tingling and numbing effects of the peppercorns. The other entrées were fantastic. Beef flat noodles with a savory sauce, a mountain of port fried rice, and a delicious pork noodle dish. For dessert, perfectly fried and sugared sweet potato cakes. My one real regret is not going to this place sooner. Our server was lovely and the owners made my sister's day special.“
“Great fresh hot food. The food is Dominican home style, laid out in big trays.Lots of variety of food to choose from- Rice and beans, spaghetti, chicken baked and stewed, pork chops and ribs, beef stew, fried seafood and shrimp. They have nice creamy deli salads as well - egg, potato and macaroni. The staff is helpful and friendly. The place is nice and clean inside. And brightly lit.It also has few places to sit and eat at the counter.Plenty of parking outside.Their coffee is really good too.I would definitely come back!“
“To start my review, I just wish there were more stars in the food and service category. Trio deserves 10 ⭐'s for both. This restaurant handles two types of food service, restaurant seating and catering for small to large parties. I've now experienced both. My most recent was a repast after a funeral. When everyone is emotional, the last thing the family needs is problems with the food service. Well, in our case, more people showed up than were originally expected. The staff at Trio didn't miss a beat. They set up additional tables in a flash and quickly had the tables set. We had buffet style dining and the selection was outstanding, with something for everyone. From soup to nuts, everything was delicious. They had fish, beef, vegetarian selections and even offered coffee and dessert. (by the way, if I had known how good the desserts would've been, I might have eaten a little less dinner.)The service is impeccable, everything is clean and fresh, the linens and tablecloths were spotless.I'd like to add that Trio is on the grounds of the Holbrook Country Club. You can grab lunch and drinks after you play, just show up and they accommodate parties of all sizes. You won't be disappointed!“

“Super fun spot. This was THE place to be every night we were here. Tuesday night, we cane for Bitchy Bingo, with drag queen Ariel Sinclair, which was hilarious. Then Wednesday, we came for "Wisdom Wednesday" with singer Victoria Wisdom, another male singer, and saxophonist, all of whom were awesome! Then Thursday, we came for a late 8:30 pm dinner and the Fire Island Follies at 9! Really entertaining. For drinks, the Mermaid Margarita hit the spot. For dinner, loved my scallops, and my husband really liked his linguini with prosciutto, sausage and pistachio cream sauce.“

“My husband and I love to eat. Tonight we branched out and tried Sea Levels. We are now loyal customers. We cannot wait to come back. Starting with the bread basket, every bite of food was stunning. The duck cakes were unforgettable— we seriously considered ordering them again for dessert. The seafood was so fresh, it still tasted effortlessly of the sea, while wallowing in sauces and gravy unlike any others. The desserts (my husband got the flourless cake, I got the apple crumble with Coyle’s Mississippi Mud Pie ice cream) were delicious. The service was excellent, our server Jackie was knowledgeable and friendly. What a gem, what a meal, we are so grateful. If you’ve never been, do yourself a favor and try it out.“

“I stumbled on Kingstons and little did we know we hit the jackpot. Down Atlantic avenue near the Marian tucked away is Kingstons. I almost didn't see it, but when I did I recognized the name. I had heard the name when the ever ongoing debate of who has the best lobster roll around is spoken of. The view and atmosphere are wonderful. Seating area is comfortable and what you expect. The staff we were all friendly and welcoming. When it was time to decide what to eat I went back and forth between trying fried platter or lobster roll. Then I thought about all the rave reviews I'd heard and couldn't not order the lobster roll with crab cake appetizers. The crab cake were flaky but not dry. Perfect. My partners burger was big and juicy. Now the lobster roll was to die for. Warm and buttery was mouth watering delicious. The bread was soft and just right. Fresh lobster at its finest. I'll be dreaming of that buttery deliciousness forever. The coleslaw on the side was also excellent.“

“Just had a excellent meal. The cuisine from the land which is representative of my love and our shared regional area backgrounds. The ambience of the dining amenities was exceptional as was the music that adds the favor towards those membered host establishment fellow friendly communities. My suggestion for taste choice arroz carne con ensalada. Muy delicioso. Can't wait for my next visit con mi familia El Salvadoran Hispánicas members. Tried the Cuisine again this evening. The same Carne con arroz without ensalada tonight. One great quality when you visit any establishment results when the food preparation and taste never diminishes from initial visitorship. I guess this will be another establishment as many other fellow Salvadoran restaurantes of shared heritage background visitation. Keep up the good work and exceptional Customer Service. Bueno mi amigas.“
