“To start I had THE BEST experience at this location. The bartenders, Dan and Aaliyah, made some of the best drinks i’ve ever had. It’s clear that they are highly experienced and know what they’re doing. To top it off my server, Evelina, took such great care of us and was able to answer all the questions we had. Ben was also very helpful. 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone.“

“I always have the skirt steak..it’s my favorite steak. Hubby always has the filet.. Both are delicious. The onion soup is also very good. The Sangria is delish…They do have a price fix menu… which has both the skirt steak and the filet… always a fabulous meal..“

“The wife and I stopped in for date night during Bayshore restaurant week. It's a nice spot, cozy environment, table spread is a good distance away from the next, it's clean and comfortable. They do get busy so get there early or make a reservation. We had the seasonal spread and shoshito pepper appetizers which were both very good, lots of flavor. I ordered the Shrimp and grits and even though I've never been a grits eater, I was pleasantly surprised. The shrimp and grits was incredibly good and had a ton of flavor. I ordered a classic margarita which was executed perfectly and the wife enjoyed her salad and mocktails as well. I would highly recommend this place and am certainly going back! “My wife thought the Chicken Francese was a bit bland and potatoes were runny but my Chicken Parm was excellent (Tasty and didn't need a knife to cut it). The Calamari was the best I've had...and I've had it everywhere from Montauk to NYC to Florida to California. None better. The wait staff was appropriately attentive and Ron is always a gracious host.“

“I ordered superbowl catered food from Riley Fibbers in East Islip. The whole process was seamless. I placed my order earlier in the week, paid, and was asked what time I'd like to pick my order up. When I arrived to pick up my order they had a server in charge of all the to go orders and everything was ready and waiting. All trays, and containers were clearly labeled. The portions were great and all the food was delicious. I frequent this location often knowing the large range of drinks and beer on tap, the owners and employees are great and pleasant, and all their food including their specials are always delicious! Go check them out, there are 2 locations in East Islip and Selden.“

“We've been to the Lake House many times. The food is always good. Service was good. I thought prices were very high as compared to the portion size. I don't know if I will be returning any time soon and judging by the relatively empty dining room, maybe many others feel the same way.“

“THIS IS AN UPSCALE RESTAURANT, that has all the features of such. Including expensive dishes and drinks. But that's the point isn't it? You wouldn't go there if the prices were reasonable. The people that frequent this restaurant are proud to spend $100+ a head. And of course this is easily accomplished by purchasing appetizers, main dish, desserts, and of course multiple drinks.All this being said if you can afford it you will not be disappointed. “Food and atmosphere was great. Service was bad, the waitress asked us if it was out first time, we answered yes. She then tells us that its fine, shell give us more time and if we have questions let her know. We finish our drinks and she never came back to check if we needed refills, we had to get another waitress attention. We waited awhile after finishing our meal for the bill, almost as if we had been forgotten about. When she finally came over to process the payment, she handed the card machine with the tip already set to 25% and told us "just hit accept and proceed and your good". Besides the poor service the food was excellent.“

“I had my daughter's bridal shower there on April 20th. From the first moment I walked in, Patty was a tremendous help. She was warm, friendly and confident in answering all of my questions. “I had my baby shower at Goldy's Gems in November of 2023 and was absolutely thrilled by the customer service, food and atmosphere. Our guests raved about the food and how their glass was never empty, thanks to the chef, servers/bartenders! It's such a trendy place and gives off awesome vibes. We enjoyed the shower so much, that we wanted to hold our son's Baptism at another one of the restaurant groups locations. We chose to have the event at Post Office cafe and once again they knocked our socks off. We were fans just on an ordinary day, so we just knew the events would be even better and we were right. Melissa, Chris, Chris and our servers/bartender once again were amazing in every way. During our planning we also found out they just had a renovation in our event room that made it look so bright and welcoming. The staff is extremely accommodating, especially on the day of when it comes to decor setup. We were able to bring our decor earlier in the day and then have someone set up about a half hour-hour early so that when our guests arrived all was in its place. The staff at Post Office even offered to assist with some setup as long as it was simple placement. If you are ever in need of an event space, I would highly suggest Post Office Cafe and Goldy's Gems or any restaurant in this restaurant group, you just can't go wrong!“

“I’ve done the “One Bite” tour around Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Long Island—I’ve gone to the hole-in-the-wall word-of-mouthers, too. Vincent’s Pizza Truck is undoubtedly up there with the best of them. The plain pie is perfectly dressed; the crust, thoughtfully caramelized with the right hint of char. Expect a crisp bite with great chew and the right balance of sauce to cheese to top a pie as thin as these. Do not skip out on an opportunity to eat here. The staff is always friendly and well-spirited, really rounding out the experience as a whole.“

“I had my husband's 40th birthday at Shanahan's and everything was amazing. Deana was great to work with in terms of setting up the party and planning the menu. She was super helpful and answered all my questions throughout the process. The day of the party the space was set up and ready when I got there and Deana helped me put out the decorations and balloons before the guests arrived. Deana and her staff were friendly and attentive the entire time during the party. The food was delicious and plentiful for the party size. I would highly recommend having a party here. It was such a great evening and everyone enjoyed themselves.“

It was very empty this Sunday evening but it took quite a while for our meals to come. The food was great with decent portions for the price. The chicken meatballs were filling and the passion fizz drink was tasty.My mom got an orange and vanilla creme brulee for her birthday on the house that she absolutely enjoyed. Just wish they had more non pork options and meals more kid friendly on the menu (we weren't the only party with children while we were there so definitely considered a family friendly establishment).“

Definitely buy some to take home.The appetizers were a bit small, but with the prices of everything these days, you get what you paid for. Thanks to our superb waiter (I believe his name is Marty), he told us about the special that they had, and it was too good of a deal to pass up. The chicken sandwich was delicious, and truth be told would have been well worth it at the regular price, but as a special, it was a steal!For an app we decided to split the pretzel. It was quite large, had great dips to go along with it, and came out warm, fresh, and perfect.The chicken sandwich (we both ordered it) was flavorful and moist, and great sauces to accompany it, which we enjoyed with the French fries. She went back to the kitchen & ordered a fresh plate. Our server Nicole was indisposed in the little servers room. After she was free, she came to our table & apologized.
