“Delighted that we finally gave this a try with some 'foodie' friends. This was a very pleasant surprise. The service was friendly and excellent. When we asked about two of the Portuguese wines on the wine list. The waitress brought us a sample of each to help us decide. Just that deserves an extra star for service We had two appetizers: the lobster tostones and a special bacalhau. They we both delicious. We tried three of the entrees on the menu. The risotto with lobster had nice chunks of lobster on an al dente risotto with gruyere, the crab cakes with a small salad and the fish and chips. All three of the entrees were done very well. We all agreed we will be again!“

“The ambiance of Raconteur was just perfect. For that brief 1.5hr dinner, I was transported to a cozy, warm and inviting place. The service was excellent (I even shared our server that her aura was glowing). Since we were doing vegetarian that night, we had the spicy shrooms (flavorful, but a little too chewy for me). Then we tried 2 other entrees that I cant remember the names but the taste was unforgettable, one had had honey on it and the other arugula- the bread, folks will make you rethink Keto- reminds me of home made bread. There were fish & meat entrees as well. Go for the vibe, and be transported and renewed. So glad I found this little gem.“

“Great local place for lunch, after work, whenever, or like we recently did - take out. Friendly staff. They have been a mainstay of Tarrytown/Sleepy Hollow since forever.Kid-friendliness: No loud music, not a "bar scene" with rowdy customers.“

“I went there 4 times already and I must say that for a recent new comer to the US, this place is a hidden gem. Great craft beer selection and Evan (the owner) is a pretty awesome dude. I am a punk rock sound mixer and filmmaker from Lisbon, Portugal that has been touring the world since 1996 and I really thought that now living in corky expensive Westchester that it would be rare to feel and get in touch with “real scrappy people”, I guess I was wrong so thank you Growlers for having me, much appreciated. Last Tuesday was night jam sessions hosted by Paul Francis which is indeed an awesome fellow. Great jam ladies and gentlemen.P.s. my only two cents recco goes to the happy hour ? it could definitely be a bit more attractive so i could spend all my afternoons at The Green Growler hehe“

“Came here on a whim with a large group (19 of us) after we had dinner up the street. They were super accommodating even though they were very busy. Service and drinks were great, we really enjoyed ourselves! We’ve been here several times before and the service and drinks are always top notch. Can’t wait to go back for a date night with my husband soon!“

“Great spot!!! This place is easy to drive right past but it's definitely worth checking out. Professional friendly staff, nice decor with art the pays homage to the local Westchester area, and the food is delicious. This place definitely has its "regulars", but I've never felt unwelcome. Check this place out if you find yourself in the Thornwood area. Enjoy!“

“I have nothing but fabulous things to say about Mobile Pie Truck. The food is absolutely wonderful. Authentic wood-fired pizza that rivals NY and CT pies, which are already some of the best. All of our guests couldn't stop talking about how delicious it was. Frank and all of the staff were so warm, friendly, and helpful. Looking for a good excuse to book them again!“

“Great experience at Kee Oyster House. I booked a reservation for 11 people for the same night and had to change the time and number which they easily accommodated. We had a table in the front and ordered oysters, tuna tartare, and scallops to begin with. They have a great list of cocktails and everyone enjoyed the gin and tequila specials. They also have a nice wine list both by the glass and by the bottle. I ordered the branzino and we ordered family style sides of potatoes, creamed spinach and broccoli - believe it or not the broccoli was a standout! Service was great, they kept water glasses filled and brought bread to the table. At the end of the meal we waited a bit for the check but otherwise we had an outstanding experience with service and food. Ambience is also great, with industrial lighting and chic but accessible decor. It was a bit loud but we were a big party so that probably contributed. Highly recommend!“

“Our family has met here for years. Solid restaurant. Good food, kid friendly. Lots of areas for that group of 10+ without feeling you're on top of the table next to you. ,$16 for 8 wings seems a bit much, but I'm cheap. Keep on keepin' on!“

“The food was great. I ordered the pork chop with spinach and roasted potatoes. The food came out hot just the way I like it. My friend ordered the chicken Mona Lisa. I tried my Friends entree and I will say what I tried was fabulous. I love Norca the bartender and she gives wonderful service. Norca makes you feel like you don't want to leave, she is very welcoming and warm. I like to visit this restaurant when Norca is working. When Norca doesn't work I don't show up and neither does my friends. Very nice decor comfortable atmosphere great vibes all the way around. The pizza is also great too. “A cool local bar. our waiter/bartender was so sweet ? wish I could remember her name. We had mozzarella sticks, dirty tater tots, and teriyaki garlic wings. Portions were big ! Flavor on point. We had Jack and cokes that were perfect ! May not look like anything when you walk in, but don't judge a book by its cover! I almost did, and I'm glad I didn't. The tables had all New york sports teams. Sorry, I missed that because I would have picked the Knicks one, lol. Thank you for a great time and great bar food.“

“Hubby and I came here to meet our friend for brunch. It's a spacious, cozy, pleasant cafe with enough room for small and big groups. Alexa was our server. She's fast and attentive. Good! We'll eat slowly. We ordered mussels for appetizer. Then I had a wild fish taco, Hubby had a Village burger, and our friend had a duck quesadilla; I am not kidding; it's a duck quesadilla! Of course, I had my hot green tea! I love my hot tea during brunch or lunch. The mussel was phenomenal! The food was exceptional! We loved everything that we ordered. The homemade creamy sauce that they used on top of my taco was fantastic. I don't usually like creamy sauce or anything with my food, but I definitely enjoyed this one. We want to come back and check out more dishes. Everything's excellent! Thanks!“

“Everything was great, but I would recommend the place knock down the smell of their floor cleaner. I found it overwhelming throughout the place. Some people like me are sensitive to chemical scents and it conflicts with the aroma of the food and drink.“

“Nice place, excellent service. The scallops were awesome, the baked lobster tails were very good and only a little over-done. They did have trouble not overcooking the snapper, but they were very gracious and accommodating when it didn't work out. Will try this Eatery “

“What a fun place, we visited this bar/restaurant on Thursday night for music bingo. All ages welcome, they have a happy hour drink and food menu until 730 I think. Food and drinks were good, drinks pretty strong and consistent. If you’re looking to unwind on a Thursday night, this is the place. They do offer a full lunch and dinner menu and they also have other fun activities on different days of the week. Go have fun.“

Such a beautiful, warm and inviting interior. I will make this restaurant my go to place and do should you. Thank you for making my mother’s night out so enjoyable.“

“My husband and I came in for dinner while staying in a nearby hotel. It's a pretty typical Irish pub/sports bar, pretty small, but with good service. I originally planned on ordering shepherds pie, but when I saw that they had an Oktoberfest menu, I went with the schnitzel, and it was awesome. They also had standard Irish beers on tap. A good experience while visiting White Plains.“

“I have been going to Fortina since they first opened in 2013. Fortina and Decicco's, both located in Armonk Square, were a shot in the arm to downtown Armonk at the time and they both have become institutions in town. Fortina strikes a perfect balance of modern takes on italian food while offering an authentic experience with excellent homemade pastas, wood-fired pizzas, and other "wood-fired" offerings coming out of their ovens. Their menu has few blind spots as everything I have had has always been delicious. I always look forward to new seasonal additions and tweaks over the years. On our most recent trip, we tried their wood-fired wings for the first time. They came out piping hot and juicy. The calabrian chili and maple sauce was delicious paired with the green goddess dressing. For an entree, I had the gnocchi (which I had previously via takeout, and I knew I had to try fresh in the restaurant next time I went). The pan seared gnocchi has a thick, almost creamy pistachio pesto drizzled with brown butter and cheese - it was fantastic. Inside Fortina has a great vibe with a rustic but modern feel of the wood covered walls adorned with eccentric art including a portrait of Bill Murray from the life aquatic which has been there since opening. Service is friendly and relaxed. Fortina is always a great choice for some of the best pizza and pasta in the County as well as an excellent weekend brunch.“
