“I went for a hosted event. I was pleasantly surprised at how good everything was. The food, service, and atmosphere were excellent! I will return soon to investigate further, but definitely stop by if you're in that area.Vegetarian options: The Quinoa salad with with cassava chips was mouth watering... in my opinion!“

“The new owners are basically doing their best to try to create a little music venue on the weekends. Jungle Love was on tonight and the place was hopping. We've eaten here a couple of times in the food's been good. I was a little disappointed in the chicken scarp as the potatoes were cold in the middle was kind of strange. Otherwise everything there is excellent“

“Can't recommend this place enough! We drive 30 minutes just to eat here. The servers are attentive and friendly, the atmosphere is warm and homey, and the food is fantastic! Majority of food is made to order and the prices are extremely reasonable!“

“My good friend and myself stumbled into Dolce Vita not too long ago when it was the only restaurant in Nyack that was opened very late. We struck gold. We have been back several times and the food, the service, the owner, the atmosphere are the very best . All are wonderful.“

“Finally went with my wife few weeks ago because we were tired of same old places ...we said we'd go to a new place each week, and came back two weeks later because we enjoyed it so much! We're going again this weekend...a great experience will keep you coming back!“

“I ordered the porchetta sandwich. It looked better than it tasted. The ciabatta was not a true ciabatta and did not go with the sandwich. The porchetta was just crisped up pork belly and was skimpy on the portion considering the price of the sandwich. The waitress said I can substitute the fries for any of the sides but didn't state there would be an upcharge. There was tiny fine print under the sandwiches that says they'll be an upcharge but it's very easy to overlook. I opted for the warm cabbage side which was very tasty and would order again. My friend ordered the beet salad and that looked amazing. I'd suggest trying that and if I go again I'll order that instead.Lastly, the water glass had lipstick on it. I wasn't wearing any. When I asked for a fresh and clean water glass, there was no acknowledgement about the lipstick, even after I pointed it out. That was unprofessional, in my opinion as a former waitress and bartender.Overall, will I go back? Eventually, yes but it's towards the bottom of the list of things to do.“

“Wowsa what a meal!!! Friends had posted beautiful pics of their meals from their tasting menu. It's cute: half the restaurant is a traditional dining room and the other is take out fish and chips. You can have a delicious meal a la carte or the tasting menu. I could not convince my husband to do the 15 course chef's tasting menu. But we did do the tasting menu with wine. Every dish was light, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. We enjoyed the wine pairings which were different (portuguese and spanish wines rounded out some American and South African wines). I am excited to come back to try more of their traditional menu and their namesake (fish and chips). Well worth a visit.“

“The ambiance of Raconteur was just perfect. For that brief 1.5hr dinner, I was transported to a cozy, warm and inviting place. The service was excellent (I even shared our server that her aura was glowing). Since we were doing vegetarian that night, we had the spicy shrooms (flavorful, but a little too chewy for me). Then we tried 2 other entrees that I cant remember the names but the taste was unforgettable, one had had honey on it and the other arugula- the bread, folks will make you rethink Keto- reminds me of home made bread. There were fish & meat entrees as well. Go for the vibe, and be transported and renewed. So glad I found this little gem.“

“Yummy seafood. Good date night. It was a week day, so not so busy. I was told it was difficult to get in on weekends. I had mussels as an appetizer and some kind of chicken dish (basically chicken piccata) with risotto on the side. The mussels were amazing, and they had like a broth and toast on the side. I had in mind the chicken would be a little different, but my husband thought it was really good. The risotto was creamy and flavorful. I decided I needed a vegetable, so I ordered some broccoli. They cooked it butter with some garlic slivers, and that broccoli was just delicious. I was stuffed after that, and had that broccoli taste for a little while. Amazing.“

“The food is very good without having a huge, hard to choose from menu. All food that we've tried has been very good, but nothing beats the burger! Ambiance is great, but sometimes need to have the music turned down (loud in the bar area & it carries over to the dining room). Service is beyond wonderful! Price is accurate to what you are getting.“

“Huuuuuuge Yard House fan - food, atmosphere, beers; awesome. The servers? Pretty hit&miss. Depends on if you like ordering your own stuff or if you need someone to come to your table and order for you. That's why service gets 3* and this place gets an overall 4*. Sometimes you get someone that just comes and refills your water and gets you napkins (which is perfect because food comes directly from the kitchen now) or you get someone who treats you like a child and kills your whole vibe.Best deal at this place: go on a Tuesday between 4:30 and 6, get 50% apps and happy hour. Then walk 50 feet across the mall and go see a $7 movie at AMC with your cheesecake creme brulee you brought with you (which you better clean up and throw out after yourself) then head home nice and sobered up:)“

“I went over to the Garage to celebrate my friends birthday. There are old school arcade games that you and friends can enjoy while ordering drinks. The staff is really friendly and easy going, I definitely recommend visiting if you're in Brooklyn and you're looking for a good time.“

“We had a great first experience! Deena and Laura are very attentive and made us feel welcome. It was hard to make a decision with the vast menu, but we both landed on good choices. Here's my Englebert Pumperdink with thick, fresh sliced turkey breast, ham, bacon, onion and tomato. Breaded mushrooms with horseradish sauce are great...and my friend loved his very tender shell/strip steak with an enormous onion ring and a side of mixed sweet potato fries and wedge fries. My favorite though was the side of garlic mash and gravy! Definitely worthy of a trip back to Horsefeathers ☺️“

“Have only preferred takeout from this place Attempted once to eat inside but quickly changed my mind and ordered takeout instead (it's so close to home I'd rather eat at home. Food traveled well and tasted fresh and leaves you satisfied and amazed that food this good can be so close to home. Can't speak of service in restaurant but with take out that do well .“

“OCCASION: Post funeral service, so the menu options were pre arranged. This restaurant has been here for decades. I have a brick oven pizza at the center of the restaurant. Pizzas are OK, nothing spectacular. With my allium , allergies, I am not able to review all of the appetizers that were served but the wings looked spectacular. MENU: Three choices on our group menu: sliced steak, chicken marsala, or broiled salmon. The sides were rice or garlic mashed potatoes and fresh green beans. The waitress was thorough and pleasant- she assured that my food did not have any garlic or onion products on it. The salmon was cooked perfectly - tender and moist with a generous portion a top amount of fresh green beans. My table mate was very pleased with her sliced steak Prepared to a perfect medium rare. THE SETTING: a log cabin, inside and out - cozy, moody atmosphere, with a casual vibe and bustling during the lunch hour. Due to the nature of our visit, I did not take any photographs of the interior.“

“Great spot!!! This place is easy to drive right past but it's definitely worth checking out. Professional friendly staff, nice decor with art the pays homage to the local Westchester area, and the food is delicious. This place definitely has its "regulars", but I've never felt unwelcome. Check this place out if you find yourself in the Thornwood area. Enjoy!“

“All around outstanding. Atmosphere is reminiscent of the good ole days. Not only do they have sports, the establishment carries every television service necessary to carry all of them. The prime rib falls off of both sides of the plate, and the double grilled wings are served like they just came off of the bbq. Reservations are available for six or more.Parking: It’s in a strip mall so other businesses share this same lot, the restaurant is a busy spot at the hours you’d expect it would be, but you’ll find parking.Wheelchair accessibility: More than one ramp exists, each side of the stop mall has one, so matter where you park, this establishment is accessible.“

“Quaker Hill Tavern is an absolute gem! From the moment you step inside, the warm and welcoming atmosphere invites you to relax and enjoy. The service here is top-notch with staff who make you feel like family, always attentive and ready to make your experience memorable. But let's talk about the food... it's simply out of this world! Every dish is a hit, but the Chicken Wings? They're the best I've ever had. Perfectly cooked, with a mouthwatering flavor that leaves you craving more. Quaker Hill Tavern has nailed the perfect balance of crispy skin and tender meat with a sauce that is a delicious blend of spices.Whether you're here for a casual lunch or a cozy dinner, you'll leave satisfied and longing for your next visit. Quaker Hill Tavern ticks all the boxes for a 5-star dining experience. Can't recommend it enough!“

“Formerly at another location in Spring Valley, Little Vietnam has expanded its menu and its dining space-including outdoor seating. The menu and the specials were difficult to choose between; our waiter knew every detail of the preparation, and it all sounded appetizing. Finally we opted for our usual favorites: a Spring Roll appetizer, basa filet in a clay pot, and tempura-fried soft-shell crab. The basa was delicious with a dark, caramelized sauce and tender, sweet filets. The crab was meaty and crisp, served on a bed of greens and cilantro. I’m hoping for a return visit soon so I can eventually work my way throughb this great menu.“

“I brought my children to lunch, the food was tasty. I specifically brought them at that time for the lunch price. The waiter charged me for a dinner portion (guess he needed the cash, the place was pretty empty at that time) ended up spending way more than I wanted to. We were clearly there for lunch.Vegetarian options: Mixed vegetables, pasta, fish.“

“Food was fresh, ambiance was cute and casual and my kids loved it! We had the enchilada which came with rice and beans, fish and shrimp tacos which were stellar, Mexican corn which was off the Cobb served in a bowl which I thought was genius, and churros which were hot and came with caramel and chocolate sauce. My kids had the passion fruit and horchata agua frescas. If you are in the neighborhood it is worth stopping by for lunch or dinner - I will definitely be going back!“
“I took my daughters there for a 7 year old birthday party. It was cool for the kids, and the pizza was good. I would have liked some more game options, especially since they have a sports bar section for adults. They also have an axe throwing setup as well. Part of this place is under renovation. I would definitely go back for an adult night out after renovations are complete. Looks like it may be even more fun.“

“PROS: This bar is very quaint and located near the heart of Nyack. Has tons of parking in the lot across the street. The bartender was very nice, place was clean, and it seemed like the local bar every native goes to CONS: The owner was a tad mean to us and they only have hot dogs there that they overcook. It's also cramped inside OVERALL: Not my go-to place for the night but I do recommend coming in every now and then just to see if its active with people“

“Here is the easiest way to describe this place. STRAIGHT UP HOMEMADE ITALIAN FOOD! This is 5-STAR Italian deliciousness! I was last here about 20 years ago but to be honest, like most, I have zero reason to ever be in Verplanck. This evening I was down there and made the immediate decision to dine-in the second I saw their big sign on Broadway. The place looks basically the same as I remember, very neat, clean and of course with a stellar menu. I observed Carmine (at the bar) preparing some amazing looking cocktails! Great service, well priced, friendly staff and great dishes! One thing I want to point out is how the first forkful of my cold antipasto salad appetizer immediately tasted soooo different. I wasn't expecting fresh, 'sharp' provolone -- no sliced ham here kids. Tonight was an unexpected treat! I will again grab my passport and cross the border into Westchester to spend more time here! Mangia!“

They had a mix and it made it more enjoyable to listen to.My friend and I had the Potato Skins and the French Onion Soup ? for appetizers and later we both had burgers. She had a cheese burger and I had the Mushroom Swiss both came with fries. The portions were very nice. Perfect to be exact in my our opinion. I would definitely consider coming back here with friends and family. We only realized after we had eaten thst we didn't take any pictures... well we will take pictures on our next adventure to Nyack.10 out of 10 is our new rate... or on Google it's 5 out of 5.Keep up the good work ✌☮Wheelchair accessibility: I saw 2 people come in with wheelchairs and were seated immediately“

“I went there 4 times already and I must say that for a recent new comer to the US, this place is a hidden gem. Great craft beer selection and Evan (the owner) is a pretty awesome dude. I am a punk rock sound mixer and filmmaker from Lisbon, Portugal that has been touring the world since 1996 and I really thought that now living in corky expensive Westchester that it would be rare to feel and get in touch with “real scrappy people”, I guess I was wrong so thank you Growlers for having me, much appreciated. Last Tuesday was night jam sessions hosted by Paul Francis which is indeed an awesome fellow. Great jam ladies and gentlemen.P.s. my only two cents recco goes to the happy hour ? it could definitely be a bit more attractive so i could spend all my afternoons at The Green Growler hehe“
