“First time trying. I ordered chopped cheese and a steak sub. Both finely chopped, well seasoned, fresh bread. The small were $10.99 but perfect portions, large is $4 more. I will definitely order again. Decent size menu. Not a big space, but good service. Reminds me of "Papi stores" in NYC. “Great atmosphere, great staff. Had the ribeye, asada and pork belly tacos and split chips, queso and elote. Asada taco was good, queso was a bit too salty and was the 1st thing we had so it may have stepped on the other food a bit. Best thing was mixing queso into elote and dipping chips into it. “Some of the most creative tacos I have had in Buffalo. Super flavorful, hot and crispy. I loved all of the tacos I had but my favorites were the beef birria and the jerk chicken. “There’s so many pizza options in town but I will say by far this is best pizza in town. They always have the right amount of dough, sauce, and cheese. There’s something they add to the dough that makes the pizza still enjoyable by the time you get to the crust.“

“One of my favorite late night spots because they have food late night. Their tacos are delicious. I always get the beef barbacoa and al pastor. The tortillas are always fresh. I always get a dozen to go and make my own tacos or chips at home.The oxtail taquitos are the ones shown in the picture. They are so so good. It’s an appetizer not an entree but I think this is enough for dinner. It’s 4 taquitos (flautas is what I call them) sitting on a bed of sauce that’s very mild but all the flavor comes from the oxtail. Ask for hot sauce if you want them to be spicy pretty much for anything.Now for service, I’ve had very good service on many occasions. There’s one server who is amazing and really sweet so lucky you if you are served by her. However, on multiple occasions I have had to ask twice for the hot sauces because I can’t eat unless I have my spicy sauce. I’ve waited till my food was cold and finally had to get up and go get it myself. I know sometimes it can get busy but a guest should not be waiting on something for that long when asked from the get go. I don’t try to be rude at all or throw anyone under the bus. I do hope that they give better service to their next table. Don’t let this keep you from heading over to have great food.Overall I would give this place 4.5/5. It’s definitely more of a modern take on Mexican food. The food gets to you super quick. The margaritas are great! I recommend to everyone.“

The chunks of buttery avocado are tossed with the perfect balance of fresh tomatoes, onions, cilantro, jalapeño, and love. “I've ordered from Jim's in the past but it was always from the stores in the suburbs and I was sorely disappointed each time. So, it had been awhile since I ate here but thought I would give this Jim's a try on Main St. They fixed my sub just the way I asked for it and it was made fast. “First time visiting a Jim's Steakout and glad we had it for lunch. The staff were friendly and helpful in recommending menu choices. We ordered the Steak Hoagie Deluxe, Chicken Tender Jim's Bleu Sub and Beef Taco. All of the sandwiches were prepared fresh to order with good ingredients. We liked the flavors with all sandwiches in comparison with others that seem bland or lacked fresh ingredients (i.e. veggies crunchy, bread was delicious, meats were tasty). We would recommend this for anyone wanting delicious fast freshly prepared foods. Next time we'll get other menu items like poutine.“
