“My husband on a whim decided to stop and grab a quick bite while we were on our way to visit family. He came across Empanada Master randomly while doing a quick search. I'm so happy we stopped here. Their Puerto Rican owned, and the empanada's were sp delicious. Fried but not oily, and the filling was savory and delicious. We got beef and cheese and pernil. The pernil was perfect. Soft, tender, and flavorful, and then beef and cheese wasn't greasy or overly salty the way some places over season their ground beef. Absolutely stop and pick these up if you're in the area.“

“Delicious farm to table restaurant. Recommend making reservations especially on the weekend. I called on a Saturday right when they opened at 4pm and was able to secure a reservation at 7pm, which required a credit card on file and $35pp cancellation fee. The Grange is an intimate dining room with about six tables, adorned with beautiful art, dimly lit, and very cozy and welcoming. On Saturdays, they have a pre-fixe menu of $65pp which includes an appetizer, entree, dessert and choice of coffee, tea, or espresso. They have a small wine and beer selection, but no cocktails. We started with a Kentucky fried duck tenderloin appetizer and the lunar new year nachos. The fried duck was fried in a thick batter and served on creamy polenta and blue cheese. The lunar new year tacos was heavy on the rice, it would have been better with a bit more tuna. For entrees, I ordered the La Belle Farm Duck Breast, cooked medium, and my husband ordered the HVCC Sliced NY Strip Steak, medium rare. My husband's steak was so delicious and nicely cooked. I thought my duck breast was a little too rare for me, but the dish itself was very good. For dessert, I had the flourless chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream which I really liked. Our server was nice enough to add a candle for my birthday, which was a nice little surprise. My husband had an apple crisp dessert with vanilla ice cream, which he also enjoyed. We also each had our own little pot of tea which was the perfect ending to our meal. Service here was very friendly and smooth. Lovely ambiance and great food. Perfect for a date night.“

We made eye contact and she said hello as soon as she seen us. I was returning from a trip with my girlfriend from Otsego County and we are both huge fans of "Restaurant Impossible" and wanted to check this place out along our way home to Long Island. It was the Monday after Easter and the restaurant wasn't very busy at all. We both recognized the owner, Franco, immediately. He sat us right away in the beautiful dining area and brought out our entrees. I was very impressed that the owner was waiting on us, and he did an amazing job. Franco couldn't have been more friendly and personable. We asked him about his experience on "Restaurant Impossible" and he was very forthcoming and honest. It was fascinating to hear his side. The food itself was absolutely phenomenal, maybe the best penne garlic and oil with chicken I have ever had. My girlfriend also absolutely loved her meal.
