“I love Giancarlo’s! We always get the arancini for an app. For the first time we got the salad with the goat cheese and pine nuts, and the 8oz filet. Everything was perfect. The raspberry martini is my favorite drink there!!! Our server was Jake and he was exceptional! “The hot chocolate was really good but there was too much cream stuff on top and not enough hot chocolate. The breakfast sandwich was really good and had a nice bun with a really good sauce but the bacon was kinda chewy and hard to cut through. Still would recommend it. Coffee was robust but not bitter and was served at the perfect temperature one of the best coffees I’ve ever had. The decor is very coffee shop-esq. It’s cool that it’s kinda out in the country side - it gives it a comfier feel. It would be nicer if it was a little less crowded and you didn’t have to yell to talk. The music was questionable. It seemed like they had enough staff which you don’t see anywhere nowadays. They were also quick and friendly.“

“I got the crab Rangoon’s, the miso soup, rainbow roll, shrimp tempura roll, coral roll, and the ocean roll. The crab rangoons were great, perfect filling and size, probably the best I’ve ever had. The rolls were great! Especially the coral, probably the best roll of the bunch! The ocean roll was a little disappointing, way too much cucumber. I know the excess cucumber is to fill you up with a cheap ingredient but when it feels like you are eating straight cucumber that means you’ve gone too far. For an ayce I’d say they weren’t too conservative with their fish which I do appreciate.The miso soup was also a bit watery.Overall for the price ($17) it was a good enough deal and it was better than many of the other all you can sushi places I have reviewed.Lastly want to shout out our wonderful waitress, didn’t get her name but she had pink eyebrows and did a wonderful job!“

They were packed, and once my food arrived, I could see why. Everything looked, tasted, and smelled amazing. Vegetarians can eat very happily alongside their meat-loving family and friends. The Masala cauliflower risotto was lovely and satisfying. There is no rush and the staff are wonderful. “Balanced Bite is in the former Flourish location on Broadway in Lancaster and oh my goodness !!! their food is FABULOUS!!!!! All vegan. No processed oil, sugar or salt.... Their breakfast sandwiches are divine! Everyone who works there is friendly and fun and in the back is an incredible chef who went to the NYC Culinary School and rumor has it he was offered a job in a Michelin Star vegan restaurant in NYC and turned it down to come work in Lancaster! Their vegan Buffalo Wing soup is out of this world!! I always order their meal prep. Five awesome meals...big enough to share! Always delicious! Their hours are limited to Friday & Saturday. They have a great breakfast & lunch menu. Plus a deli case full of wonderful vegan things like vegan "egg" salad, "chicken" salad made from chick peas, hummus, "cheese" for nachos..they also have amazing smoothies & great coffee. Nice selection of healthy baked goods like muffins and cookies and fantastic sour dough bread! It's a tiny place with maybe 6 tables and chairs...it's charming. “The Melting Pot went above and beyond to accommodate a special meal for my (now) 11 year old son who was diagnosed with leukemia in November of 2023. I initially made a reservation for 2/6 (the day before his birthday). An assistant manager, Madeline, called me to inquire about my son's interests. I could tell she was planning something special for him! He had started the latest round of chemo the day before (2/5) and was not feeling well enough to go out the next day. The general manager, George, called me and left me a voicemail indicating that he'd like to bring fondue *to us* at no charge. I wasn't able to get back to him right away but instead I stopped in on Wednesday and was able to speak to him. I thanked him for his offer but asked if we could come in the next day instead. My son had stuffed animals, a balloon, and a newspaper of the things that happened on his birthday waiting for him when he arrived. Our server, Katie, made my son feel like royalty. The owner and general manager covered our meal and we used the money we would've spent to go to Dave and Busters afterward. Thank you to the entire team for making me feel seen and giving my son time away from being a cancer kid. You have made a difference in our lives!“

“Decided since it was a Friday, we would get a Fish Fry. We settled on Rock Kitchen as where we would go. They don't have an online reservation system so I had to call to make a reservation. We took advantage of their early bird Fish Fry special. The Fish and the Cole Slaw were good but the fries were too greasy for my taste. It is served with a house made dipping sauce for the fries. I didn't care for the flavor of this mayonnaise based sauce but others seemed to enjoy it. Maybe if we came l later so that the french fry oil had more time to get hot, everything would have been worth a 5 star rating.“

Also, they refused to refill my child's drink and that was very rude and I was very hurt for my daughter and that pushed me to express my worse experienced so far with this restaurant involving with their servers attitude.“

“Nice family owned bistro.Went here for my anniversary in this place did not disappoint. My wife is vegan and they had multiple great options. We started off with the vegan arancini which was like a fusion of Italian and Asian in particular reminded me of sushi rice. Then I had a wonton soup that had nice firm wontons that were pretty well sized. My wife had a vegan pasta that was made with cauliflower but had a Alfredo type consistency and she was thoroughly pleased. Had the hollow burger with the egg on a pretzel bun which was a good burger but was absolutely filling. Highly recommend trying this place out“

“I purchased a package of pita a container of hummus a pack of grape leaves and a meat pie. The hummus meat pie and bread were delicious. My stuffed grape leaves were I edible . The leaves were so soft I couldn't eat them. Did not have the time to return them or I would have . I purchased these items after restaurant hours from the refrigerator case. Will make sure to get there earlier next time“

“I visited just after Sun opened in this location, and found the food good, but a bit bland. Finally stopped in for a second try years later, and we were glad we did. Tea leaf salad and a pot of tea made a lovely lunch with wonderfully complex flavors and nice textural contrasts. The new menu offers many tempting selections. Our waiter was excellent and the atmosphere was pleasant. I’d return for a nice lunch in the village, and we will definitely be trying the take-out for dinner sometime soon.“
