“Its a great place to occasionally visit and grab a bite with friends or by self. The food is great and the prices are good. THe staff is also very kind and polite.”
“This is a wonderful place to enjoy a cup of coffee and homemade food. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that you go home smelling like cooking. The dining room is so comfortable and a real home town country feel. They are very popular and for good reasons.”
“I have not eaten here. But the staff is always upbeat and attentive. The parking lot is seriously a mess. But, it is on the snowmobile trail and i understand why they don't pave it. At least it is hard packed.”
“While attending one of the Seneca Casinos Outer Harbor Summer Concert series' concerts at the Lakeside Event Lawn at the Buffalo Outer Harbor, there were a few food trucks/vendors around. I ended up going with Lavin's Food Truck and enjoyed a tasty wrap for dinner! The gentleman taking orders was conscientious and friendly! I believe they are cashless, but I typically pay with credit card anyway so I am not 100% certain. I placed and paid for my food pretty quick and waited about 5-10 minutes for my dinner to be made. Also, their menu is small but, in my opinion, this allows them to really hone in and deliver better quality.I ordered their Dylbowski Wrap, which is a wrap filled with grilled chicken, bacon, onions, their homemade roasted garlic mayo, provolone cheese, and mixed greens. The wrap was excellent! Everything inside tasted and looked fresh! Nice big pieces of grilled chicken and nicely-sized pieces of real bacon! Plenty of fresh mixed greens inside. The garlic mayo was thoughtful drizzled inside and amplified the flavors of the wrap. The wrap itself was hearty and held everything inside with ease, plenty delicious! For the wrap and a bottle of water, I paid about $18, which I thought was pretty good for food/beverage at a concert/event.I am impressed with Lavin's Food Truck! Both the staff and the food were excellent. I would not hesitate hitting up this food truck at another concert/event!”
“Great little bar setting with a nice dining area my strip steak was perfect also had a very interesting drink vodka in pineapple at the bar definitely worth trying it”
“Everything is BLACK !MENU , PAINT .Wrong call there. I know the owner is going to give me some lame response. The food is awesomely good , but the dark color is wrong .”
“I went into the Cheektowaga location to purchase low sodium meals. Ian assisted me and was very knowledgable about all the products and offered additional information on other products that might be helpful. He was not pushy and did not pressure me to purchase anything. I was very happy with his help!”
“Mel was awesome! She went above and beyond to make it a fun date night for my wife and I. We HIGHLY recommend the ahi tuna. The Wasabi sauce is a must try with it! The homemade blue cheese is also incredible!Drinks A++. Nothing bad about this experience at all and we will be back very soon!”
“A phenomenal experience. The Indian food is the best we’ve experience in WNY. The service was also top notch. We shall certainly be back.Kid-friendliness: Kids loved the food!”
“My daughter and I went here for dinner tonight for the first time ever. Service was fast and friendly. The food was DELICIOUS! Truly better than any other Mexican we've had in WNY. We will definitely return and recommend.”
“Our cravings for Thai food were definitely satisfied .It’s our 1st time here and will definitely come back . Highly recommended . Amazing Authentic Food ,Bravo Customer Service,Charming Restaurant and Delightful Experience ! Overall experience was definitely one for the books .”
“Had the dawali (best ever!) and chicken shawarma with za'atar french fries. Very good! Our server, DeeDee, was very friendly and attentive as well. Will definitely go back!”
“I went to phams kitchen for the very first time today 4/18 with my sister's, mother, and niece. Phams has a very welcoming atmosphere. It's clean. I didn't know how to order and the wonderful woman at the register was more than patient and happy to help. I just ordered what my sister gets because pho is new to me. We all had a beef lemon grass bahn mi (top tier!) chefs kiss! Legitimately one of my favorite sandwiches ever! I've had those before. Those were about $8. We had beef brisket pho (just beef, noodles, bean sprouts, green onions, mint, cilantro, broth, jalapeños) absolutely delicious. To make it spicy add some Sriracha. Again chefs kiss! That was $16.50. my sister ordered some chicken spring rolls as an appetizer for us. They were delicious. I am not sure the pricing on those. The tears are $6.50. we got passion fruit and she got peach. They are good but unless you just want a sweet drink I'll pass on that next time just to keep my six dollars. I normally just drink water all the time. Lol they were good but I feel like a couple sips and then it's gone. Lol you leave full and satisfied. With enough to have some sandwich and soup for later. I was able to take my broth home and they gave us containers for our sandwiches and veggies.I will be coming here often. Lol great service. Great food. They do have high chairs for children. Lots of parking. Clean rest rooms. Clean restaurant. 10 out of 10 easy!”
“Fast service, great lattes. I went in not knowing what I wanted, and the barista was happy to recommend several different drinks. I’ll definitely be stopping in again!”
“First time at this restaurant We will definitely be back!! Food and service were amazing Steaks were cooked perfectly and the lobster Mac n cheese was the best we have ever had. Only disappointed was the fact that the whipped cream on the banana cream pie is cool whip type item not real whipped cream.”
“Amazing service and amazing food. Although it took more than expected for our food to come out, it was all worth the wait. It was more than we had hoped for. Our server Jason was very attentive and accommodating. If you are ever around this area definitely give them a try.”
“Food is always fresh and delicious every time I’ve come here. It is authentic Mexican food, and the service is outstanding. I always order the street tacos (beef) with a side of rice and beans!”
“This place rules! Some of the best food I’ve ever had. A great mix of options and flavors plus everything is really healthy. If I lived closer I would eat there everyday!”
“We stopped by the bakery for the first time yesterday, and this is also the first time trying any of their products. Though the cupcake was a little underwhelming, the muffins more than made up for the cupcakes this morning and would not take away from my 5-star review. Even cupcakes can have a bad day! The muffins were AMAZING! Overall, they have a nice variety of gluten free options that will keep me coming back.”
“By far my favorite coffee shop in all of Buffalo!! Coffee is delicious (especially the house-made syrups) and staff always go above and beyond. Truly cannot recommend it enough!”
“We are the self-professed BIGGEST FANS of Smokin' Little Diner in Lancaster NY. But I am sure that we are not alone in our devotion! This place lures us in like a Siren! It's a very unassuming little steel railway diner on Broadway near Transit Road. There's lots of parking in the rear parking lot of this adorable diner, and you smell the meat smoker when you step out of your vehicle. On this day, we stopped in at 11:30 am after a doctor's visit. If it weren't for appointments, we'd never get a meal "out". I try to get something different each time I stop in. Today I selected the Oink Moo Burger with Fire Berry BBQ and a heap of kettle chips. It arrived at our table like Mount Rushmore with a steak knife holding the monumental stack together. Oh boy! It was visually pleasing and I rushed to take my photo before I drooled all over the table. The brioche bun glistened in the sunshine coming in the window, and it barely covered two giant breaded onion rings! Next layer was a pile of pulled pork over a perfectly cooked beef patty and a slice of American cheese! The bbq sauce is one that I've enjoyed before: Fiery Berry Bbq. So delicious. I'm one happy person, but I know that I am consuming my entire day's worth in calories and carbs at this meal. My husband ordered the Meatloaf Stacker. It is a pile of tender, exquisitely seasoned homemade-style meatloaf over a pile of mashed potatoes, all balanced on a slab of sourdough and enrobed in ultra flavorful brown gravy. I had to sneak my fork across the table to sample that alluring plate. As with most dishes here, this menu choice also comes in a pulled pork or pulled chicken as well. Topped off with a cup of coffee, we're two well satisfied diners today! There is a very nice Kids menu for the little guys. The wait staff is ultra friendly and efficient! Don't delay! Come on down!”
“This is my favorite little restaurant in Alden. Everytime I pass through, I make sure to get lunch here. They have excellent Greek food, the place is clean, the staff are friendly, helpful, and get food to you quickly. It’s a calm and quiet atmosphere. I’m personally burned on the noise of tv and media in nearly every public place anymore. Highly recommended!”
“Absolutely the creamiest, dreamiest soft-serve custard in the Buffalo area. Native to Western New York, I relocated to California twenty years ago. I'm sorry to report: "soft-serve" in the Golden State is a poor excuse for the real thing. It's got no structure--your tongue cuts right through it in about three licks. Also, I'm pretty sure their cows aren't as happy as they claim to be. So, whenever I go home for a visit, PJ Cools is my first and final stop. This custard is rich, sweet, and silky on your tongue. The texture is similar to softened butter--it melts slowly in your mouth. One cone comes complete with a thousand pleasant memories. What's more, the interior of this place is an explosion of kitsch: old-fashioned cartoons and advertisements line the walls. If you live anywhere near this magic little shack, don't take it for granted. Grab the wife, the kids, your Mom, your Grandma and whoever else you can think of, load them in the car and get there before another second slips by.”
“Sweet Jenny’s is a staple for our family. We never have a holiday table without chocolate from here. Teacher gifts are a must. Summer ice cream trips making memories! Everything here is amazing, including the owners. If your visiting the Buffalo area this place is a must see, we always bring out of towners here! Thanks for being such an awesome part of our community!”
“Read the reviews: This place is a hidden gem in Buffalo and I’m so glad that I found it. I may start eating lunch here daily. Great owners!!! Walked in on a gloomy Buffalo day walked out with a huge smile. Wish they had another location.”
“This place is a gem! All you can eat for a flat fee and the food doesn't reflect that - much better than expected! But the real star is the service. Super attentive staff but not to the point of annoying and everything came out quickly! I'd give the service a 10 star if it was possible.”
“A great little hidden gem. I ordered a Greek chicken salad for lunch and it was excellent. It had the perfect combination of cucumbers, tomatoes, feta cheese, onions, and a generous portion of chicken. My wife ordered an omelette with micro greens, and it was also outstanding, the house with free refills for an extra two dollars was also great! So many times you go to a breakfast place or a bakery and the coffee is terrible. This coffee had some real flavor to it. I will definitely be back.”
“Terra house is hands down the best place in Akron . Love the fresh and local produce and meats. And home made bread is to die for. I have also brought my boys for there cooking classes, they learned a lot and the food was so yummy . We will continue to eat Terra house .”
“This was such an amazing meal! So many flavors! Service was wonderful, the atmosphere was fun and bright like the decor. We enjoyed everything we ordered! Everything is made to order, fresh and so flavorful!”
“I LOVE this place! Every time I go in there they treat me like I'm their best friend - even though initially I didn't know any of them. I don't know who raised these polite, friendly young people, but they give me hope for the current generation! Also the location is quaint and the food is delicious, with generous portions. (Although I do miss the couch, which for some unknown reason was transferred to the apparently preferred Larkin Square location. ??)”
