“Wonderful food and even nicer people. Spent a weekend in the Utica area and decided to stop here for lunch. We felt like we were having lunch with family. Everyone was so kind and friendly. Ended up ordering the lamb gyro and the salad with chicken shawarma. Both dishes were delicious and very fresh. The owner, Layla, offered us coffee that was rich and tasty. It is very difficult to replicate the kind of service you find here. We would not hesitate to come back again if we were in the area.“

“I had been to Nail Creek many times, but never had anything to eat. This time, I went for lunch and got the lunch special which was a hot dog with white beef chili on top alongside fries. It was absolutely delicious and I hope it's a special again next time I'm in. My friend got shrimp tacos and was equally satisfied with her choice. They have a great draft selection, with something for everyone, and service was great. The bartenders are super friendly. The place itself has an old charm to it while still seeming modern, is clean and well-maintained. I definitely want to go back for their brunch menu!“

“Came to this place for the first time from recommendations and I'm happy I did! I ate at the bar and the bartender shook a martini like I never seen before. She recommended an off menu item of Chicken parm with vodka sauce and it blew me away. Chicken was cooked perfectly and that sauce was delicious. Many people who seemed like regulars kept asking me how good my meal was and told me to never expect anything less. I ended my night with their stoli doli which is probably why I'm writing this review because that drink is no joke! I'll def be back to see Jenna I think thats what her name was because she made me feel at home! 10/10“

“I order from Symeon's from time to time, but this time we decided to go for a sit-down dinner and I'm glad we did! Service was excellent and our server was great. There are a couple different dining areas; one feels more like a typical restaurant dining room and the other felt more diner-ish so the layout and vibe is a bit different than what I expected. I ordered the Xanthi pita sandwich and loved it, especially the crispy eggplant in it! If you're a dessert person, try the Baklava Cheesecake!“

“Firstly their food is delicious. I’ve been buying it religiously for the past 3 years and I’m sad to say the quality of food is not good for the past 2 months. I ordered my usual food with a side of mango lassi. My mango lassi was slippery and stretching with a tart aftertaste, which is an indication that it’s not fresh. The condiments as well had that same texture, I’m not sure what’s changed recently. They can definitely do better and we’ve seen it. Hopefully they can get it all sorted!“

“As soon as you walk in, the place smells amazing. Our server was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating. The food was all extremely flavorful and abundant. “Some work friends and I stumbled upon this place a few months ago, and we all instantly felt at home. We've been back every week since.There's so much to love about this place. They have classic arcade games like pinball & galaga, but they also have the newer games like buck hunter & a beer pong machine. The food is top notch, I always get their burger (made with their own special short-rib blend). They have a great selection on tap, with new beers rotated in pretty regularly. But the best part by far are the owners, Chris & Donna. They are the number one reason we keep coming back. I've never felt more welcomed in any establishment, it's like being in an episode of "Cheers" (but for millenials).“

“Though they were in the middle of serving a bus full of young women athletes , we waited only a few minutes to be seated. Waiter was very friendly and pleasant. We had a variety of items : a ham and cheese omelette, corned beef hash with eggs that were described as" perfectly over light". I had their Belgian Waffle with raspberries and a side of sausage links and shared some of my companions generous side of home fries. Everything was very good but for me the standout was the waffle, I love waffles , and make them at home, but seldom order out because of past experiences. The waffle was crisp, flavorful and had a generous portion of fruit on top that was fruit and not pie filling ! The fruit was juicy but did not soak into every part of the waffle so until the last bite there was a pleasant crunch. All the staff that we interacted with from the cashier/hostess to the bus person were friendly and courteous. We will be back and while everything we saw served at other tables looked exceptional, I think I will probably enjoy the Belgian waffles again !“

“I work for at Amtrak which is about 11-13 minutes away from China House and can I just say the drive was more than worth it considering I couldve gone to other closer Chinese spots. I make sure to do my research before going to eat anywhere and the food was great. I Ordered my food around 9pm and they were closing at 9:30pm so I didnt have the highest hopes. But the food was better than expected. I usually work in Syracuse but get called out to Utica every once and a while for coverage. I ordered a sesame chicken combo w vegetable fried rice, crab ragoons, and sugar donuts. Everything was beyond good, especially because I feel like with the Chinese spots in Syracuse, they usually mess something up, causing me to have to order my meal from one place and ragoos or donuts from another place. The ragoons had a good amount of filing and perfect ration of sweetness, to cream cheese, to crab and were nice and crispy-excellent! The food was great, chicken wasnt just all breading, i could actually taste the chicken and the sauce on it was perfect. I usually get soy an duck sauce for my rice and eggroll, but they didnt even need it. Rice had great flavor and so did the prok egg roll. Lastly, the sugar donuts threw me off a little because they didnt have sugar like the classic ones im used to but had more of an icing on the outside, either way they were really delicious! I cant talk enough about how good this restaurant was, definitely my new favorite Chinese spot, cant wait to return to Utica and have it again. Also i paid about $24 for everything i got, very good price in my opinion and for great food!“

“Went in for dinner during the middle of the week so service was good no rush in people. I ended up getting steak and chicken hibachi which was great!! The staff was very friendly no issues with the service. Definitely recommend if you are in the mood for sushi or hibachi. Next time I'll take pictures!!“

“Not sure why I waited so long to try Karma.. now I'm hooked! I find myself thinking about the taste of their spring rolls dipped in the zippy, vinegary orange sauce randomly throughout my week. The lunch special is perfectly sized, two and two, with a heap of delicious, fresh fried rice. A++“

“I give it 4 stars on food because it still taste good. However the the chili dogs and bbq ham sandwich, even still delicious, I believe, have gotten smaller over the years.The service was good and the atmosphere is ok. (You can car and people watch)“

“I order from there all the time - cheese pizza slices, wings, tomato pie, fish fry, etc. and all are excellent. I always order ahead of time so I can pick up on my way home from work and always ready and hot when I get there. Best pizza around.“
