I had the napoleon eggplant and don’t get me started on the bread and pesto dip… delicious. The chef was even accommodating on making my husband chicken Florentine and I had the chicken parm. Really huge portions and well priced but most importantly delicious. Will be back for sure.“

“My wife and I do so miss dining out at Cafe Italia since we moved South 7 years ago. Miss seeing and talking with Maria, Mike, Jimmy & of course Paulie. Miss the wonderful smells and the atmosphere that's unbeatable in the Capital district. Best of all, the quality of Italian foods served at this restaurant. “Wow. I ordered doordash from here because I was staying in a hotel with no access to a car and man was it amazing. Got the lamb chops with rice and it came with a side salad. I got a side of cilantro mint chutney on the side. I also got these little lebanese samosa looking things. got the cube cake cinnamon roll thing and my husband loved it. The walnut bakalava was really good and crispy! Writing this review so I remember how good it was so I can order again!“

“Craving excellent breakfast food? Look no further cause this diner is amazing. The parking is very easy due to having a parking lot. This diner is very popular so the parking lot may get full fast. The diner has a warm atmosphere and the staff are very friendly. I ordered the Skyline Special which consists of over easy eggs, sausage, and breakfast potatoes. I definitely have to eat it with Tabasco hot sauce. The white bread comes with a lot of butter which makes the toast super tasty. This special also comes with a small orange juice or coffee which is nice. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to eat breakfast food around the Albany Area.“

“We were seated as soon as we arrived, which was nice. Our waitress, Liz Cox, was excellent. She was friendly, knowledgeable of the menu, efficient, and very engaging. Once we placed our order, however, we waited for over an hour for our entrees to come, which was a very long wait, especially since we didn’t order an appetizer. It was nice that Liz stopped at our table and chatted with us when she could while we waited. Our meals were very good. I really appreciate that there are so many gluten free options on the menu, as I have to eat gluten free. We will be back again.“

“Wife and I were in the area for an overnight stop on a road trip and craving some Vietnamese food. We couldn't have been happier with Saigon Spring! All of our food was delicious and the service was impeccable. Some of the best pho I have ever had with amazing meatballs. If you're in the area and craving some fantastic Vietnamese food, go here!“

“Really great, authentic Chinese food. Most was just good but there were two standouts for me. One was the spicy wonton and the other was pork belly buns. They were really exceptional. I could make a meal out of 2 orders of spicy wontons! Need to go back to see what else is good.“

“This post is over due, but I attended a Christmas party at the Klam'r in early December and it was spectacular! We had the entire dining area to ourselves with a band. The food was buffet style (presumably because it was a larger party/gathering). Several members of our party raved about the ribs & mac n' cheese that was served. Drink pours were generous & staff was kind + helpful. Although tucked away in the woods, the Klam'r is worth checking out. It has a nice family feel to it.“

“I always come here for the duck and the panna cotta... The duck here is the best in the area and consist since they opened. The potato and leek soup was also very good. My hubby got the salad, pasta special and the amaretto cherry Gelato and said it was delicious as well. I recommend all the foods here but note the bolognese here has cardimon which throws me off and the only place I don't prefer bolognese... But the duck is my fav anyways. They are also attentive to my food allergy here.“

“I went to meet a group of friends that I hadn't met before. We had a group dinner I forgot to bring cash I had a credit card only. The waitress handled it very well. I've ordered food from pasta Payne before but I've never eaten there. It was very nice inside. Next time we arranged to meet I have to ask not to be up on this step section. I didn't know it had a stepped up section. Everything was nice the bread was good that they gave us as we ordered they had Earl Gray tea which was awesome cuz some places don't carry it. I didn't want to get a meal so I got appetizers calamari. There's a spot on. I had a nice crunch it had a nice texture it was awesome flavored. We came with the marinara sauce that was that was good I'm not in the marinara but I know it was good. I also ordered from the side menu, Fagioli Cavolo. Greens and beans. My dad made this every year and I hated it never ate it I think I tried it once. I had it at a restaurant a year ago and I actually kind of liked it so I thought I'll order it here. I actually kind of love it. It looks beautiful. It was so bright and green and the beans were just perfect and the sauce just tasted awesome. It's like a soupy broth it was in. I don't know if they used to meet soup broth like chicken or if it's just the Bean Juice but it tastes like maybe there might have been cheese like Romano or parmigiana. I don't really know what was in it but it was awesome. I was incredibly happy I ordered it. I didn't take a picture of the food when I was there but everyone knows what calamari looks like there's not great kind you get that has icky breading and there's a really lovely kind that has a delicate perfect breading and the delicate perfect breading is what I got. I did take a picture of The Greens and Beans the next day when I ate the the rest of it. It was still amazing. It's a shame my pictures do not do the food Justice because it was just fantabulous. It was so fresh tasting. I thought I hated kale but it turns out if you know what you're doing kale is amazing.“

We started with a white miso with soft tofu and seaweed before having beef tataki, which was tender and perfectly flavored with scallions and their house sauce.Japanese couple running the front of house, kitchen and sushi bar. The wait for the sushi, which we chose a la carte, was worth every bite. The rice was perfectly cooked and seasoned and the fish was fresh. We had the eel and avocado, yellowtail, tuna and salmon rolls. Our favorite was the yellowtail as it was so flavorful and fresh tasting by comparison to other times we have eaten it at other restaurants. The service was attentive and timely.Happy to return here the next time we pass through Albany.Parking: Located in a mini shopping center there was sufficient parking.Kid-friendliness: They offer a kid menu with three options. Works for most kids preferences. Our kid was fine with eating what we had. They also had high chairs available for younger kids.“

“We love this place. It needs a face-lift, but the staff is great, the food is cheap and really good. The fried mushroom appetizer is delicious. I could eat a bucket.The veggie omelet, pancakes are great. The pastrami Reubens are amazing. The breakfasts are good, sandwiches, fried fish, scallops and their famous baked beans are fantastic. The fries are even better than average. Their potato salad is really good, too. The coffee is good too. It's a great place where a family can eat real food without spending a fortune. 2 adults and 2 kids for under $50 for dinner are unheard of these days.“

The guacamole with chips was really expensive. $17 for a bowl of the version with pineapple and bacon, which was more than my main course. Loved the fries they have as an appetizer. Birria tacos are amazing and the staff is great. The first time I went there was a nice ambience with some music playing at a normal volume. Went on a Tuesday evening next and there was a live DJ playing very loud dance music. That didn't seem to fit the vibe and it was difficult to have conversations.“
