“Having lived in the south most of my life, I'm constantly on the lookout for great BBQ, specifically Carolina style BBQ. When I saw they had it on the menu I was a bit skeptical, but gave it a shot anyway. To say it was amazing would be an understatement! This was some of the best, if not THE best, Carolina BBQ I've ever had. The sauce it came in was absolutely perfect and there was no need for additional sauce. The meat was smoked to perfection and incredibly tender and juicy! Just be prepared for a wait upon arrival, or call ahead and make reservations. The overall atmosphere was wonderful. The staff were great, and some of the friendliest you could want at any restaurant! The drinks were also great! The Bloody Mary's are fantastic!“

“Wonderful breakfast place. Staff is great. Food is excellent! My wife and I were in town for a concert and wanted a place for breakfast the day after. Wow, so good! The eggs Bennie were on point! Best hollandaise I've ever had! Our waiter was so kind. He was attentive but not too much. I asked him for some hot sauce and he brought me 5 to choose from. Very cool local spot for breakfast! “May 4 at S&S The beer was good as always. The music was very good and Flaco Tacos was excellent. Cold and windy, still a great evening. Beer line was a long wait. It’s better when beer is served at two locations.“

“Homey, relaxed, friendly, great food, and EXTREMELY considerate of gluten free patrons.This restaurant has been one of my wife’s go-to’s for a while… it’s near to the home of a friend. Because her diet has to be strictly gluten free, it can be hard to find great tasting food in the area. She adores this place, and always eats there when she visits… this week I got to eat there and finally see why!We both had the hibachi combo: I had the steak and chicken and my wife had the chicken and shrimp dinner (made gluten free). Both were amazing! Really nicely cooked, and large portions. I loved that I got a couple of shrimp, plus noodles AND fried rice with my dinner (no gluten restriction for me!).Server was knowledgeable about GF food… the service was excellent (several people waited on our table): very friendly and personable. Almost felt like we were visiting someone is home. “Whenever I want something quick and healthy with fresh greens, i usually turn to bespoki. their poke tastes fresh, they have fast service and they have a lot of other more satiating, meaty dishes with korean and hawaiian influence. it's a pretty reliable place tonget a quick lunch. they also have korean bingsoos now. i've been wanting bingsoo so bad since moving to troy. so stoked they have it now!“

“Local diner. Kinda like cheers, everyone knows everyone, all sit at the bar, so when you walk in; they know you are new, but are friendly and nice. You may have to wait a bit for your order, sometimes the owner works alone, but the food is good.“

“They are my go to when I want Chinese food. Tonight 1 of my meals were forgotten. No big deal. I called back. They sent me up an extra meal for free. So nice of them. I really appreciated it“

“An excellent selection of hard to find Eastern European beers and wines! Plus we tried some local brews. Bartender very good at helping us choose what we’d like. Relaxed atmosphere- we’ve eaten both inside and out in the garden, which is hidden from the street and a nice surprise to find after walking through the black gates. We had appetizers, burgers and salads- all were very good.“

“This is the best pizza in Troy. Hands down. Yeah you will hear other people say this place is better, that place is better...this is the best. I have been coming here for over 25 years and have never had a slice of pizza that wasn't good. I remember when it was a pizza and a soft drink for $1.50. Still not expensive and relatively decent prices in 2024.“
