Smokey Bones Reviews
Quick seating. Attentive service. Food was delicious although my steak was a bit peppery and a tad under cooked which is why I give it 4 stars instead of 5. Will return when in the area.
Went here for our Anniversary, its been years since my last visit and what a great decision it was.
The atmosphere and the staff were friendly and relaxing, they greeted us immediately,I loved it.

Went for First time today in a long time. Very disappointed. Hostess sat us where sun shined in your face. They did try to fix that but there are blinds to be replaced and windows were disgusting even on doors to entrance. Ribs were very dry and the baked potatoes were size of a small tennis ball etc. unless things change will not go back
Smokey Bones Colonie receives mixed reviews. Many customers praise the delicious food, particularly the ribs and the variety platter with chicken wings, sausage, steak, ribs, and roasted peppers. The waitstaff is noted as friendly and accommodating, with some remembering repeat customers' orders. The restaurant was found to be clean during recent visits, and attentive service from staff like Claudia has been appreciated, making visits pleasant. Customers also highlight the good parking situation with free parking just outside. However, concerns about cleanliness are still mentioned, especially regarding the dining area floors and bathrooms, suggesting that a thorough deep clean and increased attention to tidiness could help improve overall satisfaction. The food remains a major highlight, with dishes like the brisket grilled cheese and flavorful pulled chicken and chicken fillet receiving praise.
