“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Freddy's Restaurant, and I must say, it was an incredible experience. The retro-style atmosphere immediately caught my attention upon entering the restaurant. The owners, Matt and Christina, have truly created a unique and inviting ambiance.To start off our evening, my wife and I decided to indulge in some delicious cocktails. She opted for the spicy martini, which packed a flavorful punch, while I enjoyed a classic old-fashioned that was expertly crafted.For appetizers, I couldn't resist trying the deviled eggs, and they were absolutely divine. The creamy filling and perfectly seasoned eggs left me wanting more. My wife decided to go for the French onion soup, and it was nothing short of amazing. The rich flavors and melted cheese on top created a perfect harmony of tastes.Moving on to the main course, I decided to try their burger, but without the bun. The patty was cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful. But what really took it to another level was the sweet bacon jam topping. It added a delightful twist to the classic burger and left me speechless.My wife opted for the French onion short ribs, and I must say, it was a game-changer. “A group of 4 for a casual family dinner. Beautiful place with tables spaced to allow for conversation. Opened with appetizers like calamari and salads. We had burgers and they were cooked as ordered. Help was pleasant and well trained. Had the apple tart with ice cream for desert.“

“Food & service were excellent! 4 out of 6 of us ordered the 8 course tasting menu with the wine paring. Every course was delicious and beautifully presented. All the wine choices were very good. Wait staff was very attentive, personable & every drink the bartender made, matched the care and presentation of the food. The lobster risotto & fish and chips were also delicious. Was our first time dining at Brothers Fish & Chips. I promise it won’t be our last.“

“We had a wonderful experience having our post-wedding brunch at Mint Premium Foods! We worked closely with Alberta, who created a beautiful, personalized menu with our food and drink selections. The owners stayed on site during the event and were very detailed oriented. Ben and the waiters were attentive and responsive to our requests and even helped move tables so friends could sit together. Alberta played soft background music from the bride's culture to add to the atmosphere. The overall vibe of mint is unique and you feel like you're at a shop/restaurant in the Mediterranean with it displays of gourmet cheeses, olives and bottles of wine.The food at Mint is absolutely delicious, plentiful, perfectly cooked and attractively presented! For our customized brunch, we had four courses: For appetizers, we had family style cheese & charcuterie boards and calamari, followed by individual choice of specialty salad, individual main course and family style desserts (Baklava, Pannacotta, Bread Pudding, Creme Brulee). Everyone raved about the food, from the outstanding cheeses to the Wagyu meat burgers, sandwiches, salads, Moroccan chicken, risotto, etc. We highly recommend Mint for a meal or a place to host a special event!“

“This review is about Cafeteria at Stone Barns: Lunch Tray. They have one daily menu featuring their produce from the farm. Lunch tray is consist of small plates priced around $50, which sounds a bit pricey for the portions, but I assume the ingredients are fresh and high quality. When I went there, the lunch menu was some pickles, cured meat, taco and bread - everything was sour - even the dessert looking cake was sour. Balance of the meal was a bit disappointing, so got a small apple for $2, which was soggy and bruised inside, but I liked their coffee.It is a beautiful place for a getaway from the city - an hour drive from Manhattan. The lunch tray could be hit or miss since they only offer one set menu, which you don’t know until you get there, but they have pretty outdoor tables surrounded by nice garden. I would come back for another try later.“

“Took a nice drive to one of our first dates spots… Palisades mall… We always seen this place busy, we decided to give it a try for a late lunch. If drinks is their specialty, then they nailed it. The food paired well deliciously. This is a “we will be back” type of place. Kid friendly too.“

“We live in western Connecticut and traveled to Peekskill for a show at The Paramount Theater, where we decided to enjoy an early dinner. This was our first dining experience at 'The Central,' which we chose because they had Paella on the menu, which is a rare occurrence on most restaurant menus. We began our meal with Baratta Toast topped with baratta and mushrooms, and it was delicious! The Paella was served in the pan where it was cooked, and it was hot, which was a good thing. They also let you know on their menu that one order is plenty of food for two, and they are 100% correct. The rice was cooked perfectly with just a mild crust at the bottom and surrounded with fresh shrimp, mussels, and squid. I say 'BRAVO' to the chef. The Central is not outrageously priced, features a casual dining atmosphere, and is right next to the Amtrak commuter tracks, which is kind of cool. The next time we come to town for a Paramount Theater show, you'll find us at 'The Central'!“

“This was our seventh time celebrating Thanksgiving here and we were so happy to be here! Genera was our server and she was wonderful and kind. Dad is a Marine living at The VA Nursing Home at Montrose and this is his favorite place because they always treat him well and the food is delicious. George and his team make it look easy though you can taste the effort and love the team puts into every meal. I highly recommend eating here. GO!“

“This was our second time here, drawn by warm weather and a restaurant week deal, which was a good value given the regular menu prices (on the high side). The restaurant is perched right on the Hudson but outdoor seating is first-come, first served. We wound up inside. Friendly service, solid food, including brick chicken, calamari and Atlantic salmon. It's also a great place to enjoy brunch on a sunny day. Just get their early if you want to eat al fresco.“

“Went there to see a local band tonight and the place was Packed!! Burgers were flying out of the kitchen. Service was a well oiled machine. I can’t comment on taste because I didn’t actually eat the food, but by the looks of it, you need to come to this place if you like burgers.“

“They had live music, which was awesome. However, we waited over 45 minutes after being seated and had to flag down a waitress, to get her attention. My burger was burnt and fries were cold. This is not the first time we've been there. Same thing happened last time. We thought we would give them another chance, thinking it was an off night. Bummer, such a cool place, however they need to improve the service.“

“Took my boyfriend's parents for a quick drink because Tarrytown called right around the corner and they could go to their event. I actually didn't realize they had food which the burgers or slider. I should say were amazing very good. The staff was nice and they told me they're open till 10 for food and depending on how late people come in for drinks up to 2 AM. Plenty of parking in the back or on the street, nice cozy environment“
