“Lucky ? to have stopped at The Bunker during our stay in Greenbush. We sat at the bar and our server Lauren was so attentive, friendly and made a delicious dirty martini. The food was excellent! We ordered the salmon tacos and Philly cheesesteak, both scrumptious! Actually, I order fish tacos quite often and these were the best I’ve ever had. We will definitely stop in again when traveling through the are.“

“My friend and I were grateful that the table requested (booth) was provided. We both had the grilled cheese (we both asked and received the alteration of Swiss cheese only) and the tomato bisque soup. Delicious! Server was appropriately attentive and efficient, and professional.“
“The food was amazing!!!!! The 605 smash burger was top notch. ( I got mine without the bacon) I have tried many burgers before, but this restaurant tops even my favorite burger place called The Shake Shack. Definitely going back again. I celebrated my birthday there with the family and they all enjoyed their food as well. If you want reservation the most they can fit at their low table is between 8-10 people, but the have high seating too and nice booths.. The staff were very nice and knowledgeable of the menu. The place was clean. I hope nothing, but success for this business. I will be back! Keep it up!Only con: hope they give more options for a kids menu and drinks.“
“Great place. Alot of the younger crowd. But then again I was there on a Saturday early evening. 4 bouncers. That was great. I was wondering if they had anything in the works for music going forward. There were great acoustics in there. Love the barrel tables. I didnt eat there either. The outside lights welcome you and not living far from there, I am looking forward to going back!,“

“It started out a little rocky due to the hostess being confused on who was waiting first and yet they wrote down our names lol but me being me I took over to help and everyone was seated in the correct order. Our waitress was one of the best waitresses that I've had in my life! She was attentive to my children and myself. She laughed with us and gave us her recommendations. The ambiance is cute it has a boat vibe. The challah French toast was good as well as the classic breakfast but the turkey bacon is nasty for sure, I'm not sure what brand they use but they need not to use it any longer.“
“The Dove and Deer experience begins outside with it's mysterious presence and twinkling string lights. Inside the ambiance is just as delicious as the food - low, soft lighting, a lively bar area, and a neat and uniform array of tables. Being the solitary soul I am, I sat in the row of quiet seats outlooking the street beyond.The setting is nice. I get a cool glass of water as I look over the drink menu. All the wines are dry so the helpful server helped me settle on the Love Maker. It's a subtly floral cocktail with hints of rose water, that made me think fairies might still live. She was a looker for sure and served as the perfect palate cleanser throughout my meal.I decided to skip appetizers and go straight into the main course. It's a frigid February evening in Albany, I needed something to warm my bones. The braised beef tips atop a creamy polenta, with grilled carrots and parsnips seemed like the perfect fair. The dish was beautifully arranged, and well, I'm a sucker for pretty food. It was tender, delectable... every bite seasoned well. It had soul; it lifted me from that evening's mid-winter funk.The beef was incredibly moist and tender. I dug into it, mixing each bite with all the plates' elements, and washing it down with the secret fairy juice. I couldn't finish it all and left only a few bites on the plate.Feeling satisfied with my life, I paid, checked out and walked to my car as a flurry of snow sprinkled over me. “First, the good... The raspberry oatmeal pancakes might be the best stack of pancakes I have ever eaten. Incredible!Now, the not so good. Wait times on Sunday morning are over 40 minutes and because of the crowds the service is (was) subpar. Got my order wrong, no coffee refills, etc. So, plan ahead, prepare to wait and do not expect service that matches the food.“
“Great place. Very big selection of beer and on different sizes of pours. I have had the burgers in the past and they were all delicious. I recently had the pulled pork tacos. Oh, so good.Definitely a place to stop if you like beer and a good atmosphere.“
“Would be 5 except for one thing. I have been here 2x in 3 weeks. I got the same item each time. One experience was not like the other. My sandwich was so overdressed the 2nd time it fell apart. So, just ask for the dressing on side. And then it would be perfect again. Very pleased that this spot is so close to my new home and that it has vegetarian options.Oh. The apple ginger tea is great.Vegetarian options: I got the garden salad sandwich which was very good. Tomatoe soup is also good.“

“Voted best dive bar in Albany. They are proud of that title and their Irish heritage! Light atmosphere. Everyone seems happy. No drama. We had some cold beers and a basket of cooked to perfection fried foods which included mozz sticks, onion rings, fries, and chicken tenders. Enough to share with many. Great jukebox too. A good time was had by all in this little neighborhood bar. Cheers!“
“This is a very cool spot. The atmosphere can't be beat- it's somewhat of a "hidden gem" being tucked away on the second floor of building overlooking Lark St. Food has been phenomenal each time I've gone. Everything is packed with flavor and has a unique touch. Chicken fried rice, the short rib, and the meatball appetizer are a few of my personal favorites but you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Would highly recommend this place to anyone coming to Albany and I can't wait to go back“
“Didn't know what to expect as i've never been here before but i walked in and saw the newly renovated restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. Sat by the cozy fireplace and I had Allie as a server, she was sweet, informative and attentive! I ordered the half order of wings and they were great, good sauce. I then got the lobster roll and was floored by the flavor. It's fresh and melts in your mouth, i finished the whole plate! Such a hidden gem in a chill upscale environment! Not too expensive at all. Will be back!“
