“Great Cafe for refreshing breakfast, brunch, and lunch food in Delmar. They have smoothies, acai bowls, yogurt bowls, tea, and more! The staff are very welcoming and is a great place to just hang out. The decor is very comfortable and they have a few games that you can play. They made the interior very pretty. In the warmer months they also have a place you can eat outside and it is right off of the rail trail. I had a mantra yogurt bowl which was delicious. It is also nice that you get to pick three of the toppings to put on top of the bowls so you can personalize it to your tastes. I highly recommend coming here.Vegetarian options: It appears that the menu is completely vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: Everything is customizable so you can adjust what you get based on your dietary restrictions.Parking: There is ample parking. There is a free parking lot next to the building.Kid-friendliness: Great for the whole family and they have games to keep kids busy.Wheelchair accessibility: There is ramp access as well as step-free access.“
“I now live in Texas , but every trip to Albany includes a trip to Miranda’s deli. The food is off the charts. The smoking hot chick who makes the sandwiches and the special-needs guy who runs the register are both Fantastic. There aren’t enough stars to rate this place.“
“We always have a fantastic experience when we visit and celebrate every milestone here- engagement, engagement party, rehearsal dinner, daughter’s 1st birthday, and date nights. Jess, Chef Chris, and the whole staff make the experience outstanding from first bite! Always looking forward to coming back again.Kid-friendliness: Il Faro is always so accommodating when we bring our 2 year old. They have crayons, coloring books, sippy cups and modified food options. We never feel rushed or an inconvenience when we are eating here even with a 2 year old. Il Faro takes care of every customer no matter the age!“
“My husband is a breakfast connoisseur and said this is the best breakfast he has had ANYWHERE! The Rocky Mountain Benedict’s was delicious and the Cherry Amaretto pancakes were to die for!! The home is gorgeous and SAM was the best server, hostess all around amazing l person ever! This is a must go and eat when in Albany! 5+++++ stars!“
“An awesome brewery with great food, known nationally for their IPA's. All their food is made in house. There is tons of seating but don't let that fool you, they do fill up quick. They have beer types for everyone to include dark, sour, light, IPA, cider and usually host guest taps. The food menu is pretty extensive and also have something for everyone. Parking usually is pretty easy and the customer service is top notch. Highly recommend this as a must stop destination in Albany, NY!!!“
“Good mooring! Are you craving some delicious ice cream?! The perfect spot to satisfy the cravings is here. The parking is street parking, but I always find parking no matter when I go. When you first enter the store, it gives you a warm vibe, which is perfect for eating ice cream! I went when it was high noon. When I got to the counter, Sam greeted me right away, and she offered excellent suggestions. It took me a while to decide on what to get because the menu has unique names. Sam offered me samples, which helped me make my decision. She was very professional even though I was standing there for a while, trying to decide what to get with asking for multiple samples. In my personal experience, some people get impatient when you can't decide right away. You can't go wrong with any flavor! The ice cream was super tasty and amazing. The seating area is very cozy and organized. It feels like you got teleported to your living room. One thing that caught my eye was the chess board on the table. Make sure to clean up after yourself because we all know you don't leave garbage around in your living room. Overall, I have to say the experience was amazing because of Sam. Shout out to Sam!“
“Just tried this place out for the first time this morning and it is fantastic. It’s awesome having a quality breakfast spot like this in Center Square - the food is delicious and my breakfast sandwich was easily a 5/5. Keep doing what you’re doing, we’ll definitely be back!“
“We decided to try Albany Ale and Oyster House on a chilly, rainy Wednesday afternoon since we had to be on New Scotland Avenue for an afternoon doctor appointment. I'm so glad we did, and also happy we arrived just as they were opening because we were able to sit at the bar and visit with one of the owners, Mia. We tried a flight of beer opting for all pilsners, one each from Italy France, Czechia and from our own New York region; all tasty, just the right amount of foam and nice and chilled. I ordered the Beyond brat which comes with comes with kale slaw and honey mustard, crispy potato chips in a brown paper bag for soaking up the oil and keeping them crispy, and a mixed green salad with the best sesame honey dressing. I love good salads and this one was perfect, with dressing on each lettuce leaf. Mia said they take their salads seriously, and you can tell. My partner had the Reuben and he proclaimed it the best he ever had. Overall the taste, presentation and preparation of the food was perfect. Combined with the cozy atmosphere and the friendliness of the owner and all who work there; Albany Ale and Oyster House is now one of my top favorites in the areaVegetarian options: In addition to the Beyond Brat they offer Beyond Burger and some interesting salads.“
“I've had the pleasure of enjoying Alias's espresso in my first and most recent cortado at the weekly Farmers Market??. Today I decided to give a large black cup, no sugar, of their Tarrazú Farm house blend a swirl... This will be a simple review of the Costa Rica cultivated locally-roasted brew: ?!#Crisp #Balanced #RefillWorthy“
“Look, for a craft beer bar in Albany, it just doesn't get better than this place. The curated draft list is amazing, specially the nod towards old money flavors. One lukr and two machines are also a great addition to the place. The place itself is small, but spaced out well. Want good beer, and sandwiches, come here, seriously.“
“No fun is great, I've probably gone now about 20 times. I can feel confident in myself and the creatures of the night of the capital region. The alleyway is illuminated, you get a view of the river, the bar has a sweet drink selection. Ive danced for at 30 hours of my life so far here“
“What an amazing place! Not only was the food delicious! The person was just an absolute saint! Doesn’t get any better than a hardworking mother! I was just feeling so defeated and really needed some chocolate. I’m sure every knows what I mean. We left her shop feeling more uplifted and reminded that we are all doing the best we can. Thanks for making us laugh! Not all places can bring an atmosphere like this one can! I highly recommend this place. She is bringing more joy to the world everyday you can just tell!“
“Our group of six dined here for lunch on Saturday, arriving at 11:30. Getting a table was easy due to the spaciousness of the restaurant, which boasts a large number of tables. The atmosphere was fantastic. We had a variety of orders, with some opting for sandwiches and others choosing meat plates—no complaints from anyone! The brisket was particularly good. I got the BBQ fried rice as a side for the first time, and it was surprisingly delicious! The chicken wings, with jerk glaze sauce, were cooked to perfection and had a delightful grill flavor.I would highly recommend making a reservation here, as it tends to get busy!“
“Stopped in before and liked their coffee. Considering that the other small coffee shop that I was a loyal customer to (since the shutdown) had closed, I figured I'd give Stacks another shot. Had a coffee and a bagel egg sandwich (Greg) and was more than satisfied. Definitely found my new spot for a coffee and egg sandwich. They're open on Saturday, which is a definite plus. I'll be frequenting them more.“
“It’s a nice vibe in there. Lots of different types of people and I like the layout of the place. My only thing is that it was really warm in the bathroom like uncomfortably so, but it wasn’t that big a deal, just something I remember noticing. Live music is fire ? I can’t speak on the food I didn’t get any but the mixed drinks were type strong . I would return. Bartenders were quick and friendly enough.“
“Really good brunch spot with excellent variety of options for everyone!Really enjoyed the breakfast hash and the waffle was one of the best we’ve ever had. Next time, we’ll definitely try one of the smoothies. Great place to start the day.“
“So glad I made the stop in here!! The Chai latte was made from Steeped Chai tea bags vs and the pre-mix which has a lot of sugar and the breakfast crepe was so delicious and big portion, really fresh ingredients. Don’t pass by here without stopping in. Thank you Olivia!!“
“We just ordered a bagle with cream cheese. Cream cheese was soft to runny, which was great! Easier to eat, although a little messy, but we were prepared! Our first time here. We took them to go. Very good tasting salt bagle with plain cream cheese“
“I have gone here twice now for lunch. First time I got chicken bacon ranch pizza with garlic knots and the second time was the same but I got a beef patty instead of garlic knots. Everything has tasted amazing and the staff is friendly. My favorite place to go to lunch on my breaks.“
“Juliana(hope I'm spelling it right) was absolutely wonderful! Excellent service, very friendly, great prices, and super clean! Juliana helped me figure out what I wanted to eat as I was out for a stroll just getting fresh air and wasn't really planning on getting anything from anywhere and everything sounded so good! Ended up getting the boyfriend his usual (general tso's chicken) and I got the hunan chicken. Got home, tried it, loved it and it's officially one of my favorite places now! Tonight was our first time trying it and I can't say enough good things about it! Hands down THE BEST general tso's chicken I have ever had in my entire life and the hunan chicken was also amazing. I was nervous because it's always a hit or miss when you try new places and they definitely earned three new lifelong customers! The chicken was cooked perfectly, the texture was amazing and the sauce was so fresh and flavorful and everything was fresh! Normally I hate babycorn but even that was delicious and didn't have that weird dirt after taste you normally expect. And I finally found the veggie egg rolls that remind me of the place I used to go as a kid! I can't wait to go back and try more items on the menu!“
“Won't go anywhere else for pizza on this side of the river, and I've tried them all. Best price and quality for pizza/wings, and their pasta dishes are excellent as well. Only complaint is the limited hours, I wish I could eat here everyday.Parking: 15 minute parking for about 5 cars in front of store if empty“
“Food and coffee tasted good. Although order was wrong, and service was weird. Not acknowledged at all, stood waiting to take my order until someone else came in and tried to go in front and I just mentioned I hadn't ordered yet...strange. Cute coffee shop though, so would give another shot.“
“A jewel of a discovery. When we found other establishments on New Scotland Ave closing their dining rooms by 9pm on a Saturday night, SakeCafe was graciously open, serving delicious food (we tried a little of everything from sushi to Udon) and with the best tableside service I've experienced in literally years. Oh, and the hot sake is splendid and at $6/bottle an unbeatable value. SO happy to know they are just around the corner. Sorry bao buns place but you lose, SakeCafe wins.“
“We got wings and a burger for take away and our server/bartender India was amazing. The food was perfect and the blue cheese dressing is to die for!!!Dietary restrictions: India was sure to tell us about the gluten free buns and lettuce wrap options for burgers and other sandwiches.“
“If nothing else, go for the interaction with Gabriel the bartender. The drinks and food were amazing, but he set the experience apart! Knowledgeable and just one of those people who makes you want to make this your new drinks spot! Huge plus, my husband has celiac and was completely safe eating here which is a rare occurrence around here! 100% will be coming back.Dietary restrictions: Celiac safe kitchen with dedicated equipment and counter spaces“
“Nice atmosphere and great location and they have outside dining but they offer very little food choices, things like cheese plates etc. And it's expensive. Plus when I hear " confectionary" I think of baked deserts, and there aren't any!“
“There is hardly a food truck I don't like. Why? I love the history behind them. The craziness of the new rage, from an oldie but goodie, and the committment from the owner to make his/her greateness available at reasonable price and in cool digs. Now, I wouldn't call the New York State Capital lawn cool digs, but seeing as it just a few blocks away and plenty of green grass, park benches, picnic tables, and other seating, how can one resist coming out here for a stroll and a great bite to eat? Not to mention, it is the only place in Albany where you can find 4-5 food trucks to choose from, which makes me feel sad, as that number is low compared to other progressive cities like, San Diego, San Francisco, Austin, Dallas, New York. It also upsets some people that the capitol gets special treatment for placement of food trucks, but let's save that for another day. Michele's looked good. I was simply craving a burger and fries. However, I've learned from my food trucking, that fries can be somewhat of a challenge. Either soggy, dried, or just not right. I hate suffering through that, so instead, I ordered the tots they have. Being a chemist by nature, I don't know what it is with tots, but you can hardly mess them up. They always come out crispy on outside and nice and hot inside. Michele's did not disappoint. I ordered my 0.3lb burger with cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion. The film broke loose and this movie came to a screeching halt when I heard, "We are out of onions." "Ahhhhgg," I thought, as in my opinion a burger just isn't a burger without onions. Before I could complete my sigh of disbelief, the server said, "We can put some fried onions on it, if you want. Will take a little longer." I was ecstatic. Not because I got my onions, albeit in a different form, but the food truck guy did not have to offer this, but he did. Why? I don't know, ask him, but I can guess it is because they have that food truck service mentality of "Let's take care of our special customers." It did take a little longer but was worth it. The cook handed me a freshly cooked cheeseburger with fried onions and tater tots. He even warned me that the tots were piping hot just out of the fryer. Really nice touch. I will definitely be back and try their other menu items which look really good including the clam, even though I am not a big clam fan.“
“One of the best local farms, with a store, hayrides for the kids, fresh apple cider and donuts, and a restaurant that was new to me, as I have not been to the farm in a couple years. The place is still relatively the same as when I first came here as a kid, and I definitely got that nostalgia hit when we pulled up. Had one of the best Ruben sandwiches I’ve ever tasted. It’s also great for pick your own apples, and they have a basket pole for the kids to reach the higher up apples! Also doesn’t hurt to support our local farms!!“
“I think this app is broken... I must've done. It doesn't reviews about Ted's Fish fry, one of my favorite places to eat when I'm upstate New York. The service is good. The ambience is perfect. The food is amazing a bit, but it is what it is.“
“There were 25-30 of us that came after a funeral. We each ordered individual means from the menu. Dan didn't miss a beat!! Our meals ALL arrived timely. Drink orders were replenshed timely. The staff was happy, friendly. Dan saw us before leaving and asked how everything was, it was FABULOUS and IMPRESSIVE!!“
“It doesn’t matter if you are a local or you are visiting upstate NY, Indian Ladder Farms is a place that you really want to visit, specially during the autumn. They have so many activities like apple picking, great beer, food, music and the traditional cider donuts… the best ones I had ever tasted. Super kid friendly and family oriented. They have cows, goats, chickens and other animals that you can pet and feed. I am so happy to see this place grow and being supported by the community.“
“I love their açaí bowls— the best in Troy / Latham. But it takes an absurd amount of time to get your order *every time* … I even order on Mealeo ahead of time and still, I’m told a 10 minute wait when I arrive. It’s super frustrating. Otherwise, I would order it all the time! They use great granola and ingredients and it’s a good size for the cost.“
“Nice local ice cream spot. Their soft serve is super smooth and creamy. Good portions for the cost. Got a chance to chat with one of the owners when we stopped by. She was super friendly and very knowledgeable about all the details of what makes great soft serve and very knowledgeable about allergen info. They make all of their own ice cream with raw ingredients and it's obvious they have a passion for what they do. We will definitely continue visiting Mac's“
“Wow- the hip spot tucked away that has all bases covered. From the PBR on tap to amazing handcrafted cocktails with Japanese whisky and homemade green tea syrup... well actually all their syrups are homemade... great mix of folks from the neighborhood and beyond. Classic retro movies on the screen and a delightful soundtrack of chill old school tunes. Their hours are generous- so you might opt to stay a while and you will not regret it. If you are hungry byo or eat before. If you only need snacks there are always chips for sale. Seriously good vibes and good spot to grab a great drink.“
“What a great place in the Capitol District for craft beer and nice people! The IPA's are outstanding and the speciality beers like Peanut Butter Stout are also a favorite. Hats off to our server running the the bar, TV and all us crazy customers.“
“Went here with a couple friends for coffee/tea and pastries. My almond milk cappuccino was delicious and their almond croissant are on the small side but still very good. The vibe at this location is bright but very industrial and a bit cold. They've thrown in a few plants but overall could use some more comfortable seating. I'd come back for the coffee, but only to go next time.“
“Quiet little dinner with a lovely atmosphere, polite staff, and delicous food. My pancakes were fluffy and delicous, bacon was fresh and chewy with some crunch. My partners eggs and home fries were fresh and tasty, we both enjoyed the meal and atmosphere. A real rare dinner, not many hole in the wall dinners left around the area that have this level of service, and quality. Highly recommend.“
“Great place that's been in the area for generations. Still have great prices, especially compared to other Capital Region ice cream shoppers. They know what they're doing too.Ice cream is great. Creamy, smooth, thick. Not that ice milk stuff, nor is it watered down.Waffle cones look homemade and aren't overdone. The bottom curls in to form a plug - an issue with waffle cones. Also, they serve it in an old school sleeve to catch any drips if it takes you that long to eat it.Parking lot is tight, particularly when they're busy. Be patient and be a good citizen and everyone will get along fine.“
“Be specific if you want toppings they may be a little short w each topping. Two tempeh strips for a whole sandwich. Very cute environment. Im glad they've been open for a while. Usually very good Updated from previous review on 2023-08-14“
