“We visited Buffalo for Solar Eclipse and new to the town. We checked on Yelp and found this amazing restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food at this restaurant. The prices are very reasonable, and the portions are generous. There's a wide variety of Japanese and Thai dishes to choose from, and both the fried rice and noodles are exceptionally tasty. We also appreciated the added bonus of receiving two free egg rolls for checking in on Yelp. It's no wonder this place has nearly a thousand reviews--it's definitely the best Asian restaurant in town. Highly recommended!“
“I went to this restaurant a few times last year and have recently ordered takeout.Dining in: the place was clean and not overcrowded with tables. The staff was friendly and patient with our endless questions and great at suggesting and helping us pick our entrees. The wait for the food was a bit longer than we would have liked, but the food was worth the wait. They served genours portions.If you enjoy spicy food, make sure to ask for Thai spicy pr ask for chili oil on the side because my extra hot was barely a 1.5 (on a scale of 1-5)Food ordered: pad see ew, pad thai, Basil fried rice and a few rolls.Takout: I ordered less than 30 minutes before closing. I was quite surprised they took my order, as many places close their kitchen 30 minutes before closing. The portions were once again quite generous. “I've been wanting to go to this restaurant that's pretty much in my neighborhood for a while and ended up going on Easter Sunday of all days... I had a hard time deciding on one item to order and I ordered it medium which was a little bit too spicy for me. Next time I would order mild that still has a little spice to it. We both were very happy with our meal and will be coming back and making this a regular spot for ourselves! The food was very flavorful and the server was superb. Our hats off to the chef!“

“Always love coming to Golden Hill! This is my fourth time coming here, l've come alone and brought friends too! The service is always wonderful and the restaurant itself is small and peaceful. My go-to dish is the Tom Kar with shrimp, it's comforting and the flavor is delicious. The sautéed string beans are a must, they're seasoned to perfection! Also got the Szechuan style sliced fish and I would recommend if you like spicy food. I’ve also went basic and gotten orange chicken and crab rangoons and they were both very satisfying and flavorful! Surprisingly, I've never witnessed it being busy but they're always getting phone calls and preparing takeout orders so l assume that's where most of the business comes from.“
“I've been here multiple times. I've followed them from their Elmwood location. The food is always fresh and delicious. Service is always fast and friendly. I love that they have outdoor seating for the summer too. They offer a lot of gluten free and vegetarian/vegan options. We got the chicken satay, crab ragoon and tofu apps. We also got the chicken pud Thai, pineapple fried rice with tofu and chicken and the Thai fried rice with beef. I have not been able to get a hold of them for 3 weeks now (calling, fb messages, and driving over-they were closed on a day/time they are usually open and it did not mention anything on their Facebook about being closed for the day). “I have a lot of food allergies that often make it difficult for me to eat out. Thai Orchid Cafe was wonderful with taking the time to ask additional questions to clarify what I can and can’t eat. You can also tell that their ingredients are very fresh and was overall super delicious!!“
“Delicious food, adorable robots, what more can you ask for? I've been to Wind a few times, everything is always lovely. I learned you can pet the robots "ears" and they'll talk, they occasionally run into the table so I'm glad the human staff (who are always delightful) bring the soups. My favorites on the all you can eat menu are salmon roses, Thai coconut soup and the salmon/spicy salmon pizzas, but everything in wonderful. The only thing I didn't love was the pad thai, I prefer the wider, flat rice noodles at other local places and it was a little bland compared to other things on the menu. Overall it is fantastic and especially great for groups so you can share and try all the things!!“
“Their food is great and that is why I dine in here almost everyday but terrible service with their new servers who provides you with a rush service and accussed me to be very demanding and picky when I only asked to honor the price that they advertised on their lunch menu. Their lunch supposed to come with a soup or a choice of fresh or fried spring roll but the server who took my order charged me with the dinner price and the soup as well so I questioned that but both servers retaliated and told me that it was past lunch time hours when they handed me my check so they can't changed the price although I ordered my food during lunch time hours and from the lunch menu. I'm their regular customer so I know abbout it for few years now. Also, they refused to refill my child's drink and that was very rude and I was very hurt for my daughter and that pushed me to express my worse experienced so far with this restaurant involving with their servers attitude.“
“We came here for the first time because our usual sushi place is closed on Mondays. We enjoyed our meal very much. We ordered salmon sushi nigiri and salmon sushi rolls with black rice to share. I ordered Burmese fried rice and my husband ordered Beef curry. Everything was fantastic. The salmon was fresh, black rice was excellent. My husband said the beef was extremely tender and delicious. It was nice to try a different place and we will be back for sure.Dietary restrictions: They were very good at ensuring my meal was not spicy. I have a sensitive stomach so I was glad they could make the dish I wanted without the heat.“
“My wife and I tried this because we were in the area. We split an order of Bangkok Pasta (pad see ew) and an order of veggie fried rice. We really liked the flavor of both. The vegetables were fresh and the food was served very fast. I also ordered some pork fried dumplings and they were delicious. The server was very friendly too. They didn't have a lot of customers in the restaurant but they were definitely getting a lot of people picking up their takeout orders so they were considerably busy. Overall very happy with this place.“
“very good for what it is. great spot for takeout lunch. the lunch portion red curry with chicken was under $11 after tax, huge, and came with soup. the "hot" spice level on the red curry was very manageable but still had a decent kick. I personally could have gone for a little more heat, but hey, this is Depew we're talking about, so I get it.“
