Ordered for uber Eats delivery to try this Place. The smallest extra Guacamole on The Side ever. I thought it was a mistake Or I forgot it. Double checked The receipt and I definitely paid for it. It was so small And on a small container where they put Ketchup or Condiments.

There were two other locations. The one in north Yonkers unfortunately closed but the Riverdale site (and this one) are still going strong. Great happy hour, solid plates, and great service. Drinks are well done. Parking can be a problem and there aren’t many tables when the place is popular, but worth it.

I tried Metate for the first time this week at lunch time after hearing a buzz about it in the neighborhood. We each ordered 3 tacos. The shrimp and steak tacos were very good. I wasn't crazy about the lobster taco because it just tasted fishy. My daughter really liked the chicken Tinga and chorizo taco the best. The waitress was very nice and served us quickly when we told her we were short on time. It was delicious reasonable and I will be back.

What a great authentic Mexican Restaurant. We were welcomed at door by a friendly worker very welcoming . The guacamole was one of the best I have had. The food was just a good. If in the area you will not be disappointed!!!

This place is very good. My son and I come here on Saturdays for lunch and have never been disappointed. We've explored the menu and everything we ordered has been delicious. The music is good too. My only recommendation is that they replace the tables with booths. In my opinion it's the best Mexican in the Westchester River towns area.
