The food and service was fine for my group of five, however I have issues with them charging an automatic gratuity as well as a credit card fee. I have never heard of automatic gratuity for groups smaller than six people.

The Mexican restaurant we go to weekly was closed today and it was my bday! I googled and saw reviews thought we should try. I wish o waited to go to my regular place. It was my bday and it’s silly but they charged the dessert. The happy hour they promoted was a regular price. For 2 adults and 4 kids they added 20% gratuity. We clean everything up when our kids eat they are over 10. Expected $160 and it was as $240. Would never spend that for a casual night out. Very upset that was our first experience.

The service, sangria, and enchiladas verde are always good! Expect the salsa to have a smoky chipotle flavor that is mild and delicious. This is our go-to Mexican for a casual family meal. Our kids love it here!

Visiting family in Westchester from Los Angeles - Molcajete definitely passed the bar. The shrimp was big, juicy and fresh, the steak (we got the Molcajete, so it came with everything) was a nice cut and well cooked. Salsas were all super tasty and the guac was legit. Only slight LA pickiness is that it was missing the nopal.

Came for a quick lunch date with my gf. Food and drinks were fresh and delicious . Gabi was a great and attentive server. We had chicken enchiladas verdes, mango daiquiri, el pastor tacos and cucumber Margarita. Definitely will return!

Took my wife for lunch and we were surprised by how good the food was. Had the right amount spices and the right amount of hotness. My wife had a seafood soup and I had the pork chops. Delicious! Our server was very helpful and explained certain food and gave recommendations. He also checked back frequently to see if we needed anything else. Will definitely go back. The restaurant ambiance was nice and had traditional music playing. Two thumbs up!!
Stayed the weekend at my sister's house and ordered food from here and it was delicious. The tortilla chips were so good. Freshly made and they gave us a bunch. We got fajitas and burritos and the yellow rice and beans were great. And the croquetas de pescado was so delicious.. We actually fought over the last chip. Can't wait to go in and eat at this restaurant.

What a hidden gem! I've been coming here for years and the food is always fresh and delicious! From the enchiladas, the tacos, to the omelettes for brunch, and wonderful salads. The chips, salsa, guacamole, and rice and beans are also always on point and made fresh. I can't say enough good things about the restaurant and the kind people who work there. I'm not sure Dobbs Ferry realizes how authentic a restaurant they have here on Cedar Street. My favorite dish is the enchiladas verdes- this is the best spot for Mexican food in Westchester.Dietary restrictions: GF options available as they have corn tacos.
