The food was good, but we waited for what felt like an eternity. Service could have been faster.

It was an authentic french experience!I had the french onion soup, that was sooooo tasty… probably without doubt the best french onion soup I’ve had, and as entree I had the Chicken cordon Blue, and for sure was the best ever! So creamy…so tasty…green beans and purée with perfect season and butter. My husband had the Steak au proive which prepared exactly to his liking, and the chocolate mousse was superb cuz I tried!Make efforts to visit this place, and I give you myword that you will have a great experience as we had.The staff of the restaurant was so kind and attentive .For sure we are coming back!Enjoy the food!

I just discovered this small restaurant in Queens thanks to a friend of mine. I decided to celebrate my hubby's bday here right after watching The Taste of Things.... I knew the food was very authentic, it didn't disappoint! We had my favorites for apetizer ( escargot, onion soup and fois gras) . Main dish were Beuf Bargoignonne, CCanard a l'Orange). Wine was good, the only thing we didn't line was the dessert, the crepe was really cold... But overall we really liked it

On Tuesday, I wanted to have one reason why it is a special day on Tuesday. One reason is that it was my mom's birthday, so we celebrated her birthday, then the waiter showed up being funny, but we laughed so hard that I really made jokes to someone next to me, but then she really said happy birthday to my mom, and we said "Happy birthday" to her. So I love this place.Dietary restrictions: It gave me more diet than usual on Tuesday.Kid-friendliness: I like to talk to strangers, and they're friendly next to us.

A real bistro! Great French food without ceremony. Not the stereotype “big plate with little food”.The escargots were swimming in sinfully delicious sauce that invited serious mopping - scarpetta! The mushroom sauce around the risotto was reduced perfectly to create intense flavor that complemented the delicately seared scallops. As usual, Ron and Pauline’s recommendation did not disappoint. Merci beaucoup!

The food is delicious. I ordered the salmon (saumon à la ratatouille) which was really good, I paired it the white wine Sangria which was also good. Finishing off with my favorite dessert creme brulee, ?. The aesthetic is unique and the atmosphere was welcoming. Overall, highly recommended?.

I've had most things on their menu and it's all good.I usually go for their Cassoulet(personal fav), the Mussels or the Lamb. The staff has changed over time but has maintained excellent service and outstanding friendliness. Seems like that's core to how they operate.

This was my first time here, definitely not my last. Tried the escargot for the first time. Surprisingly, I was shocked at how good they were. The steak tartar is a must-have. Everything was great! Service, food, atmosphere. 5 stars. Unfortunately, there are no photos. Next time.

The kitchen maintains a consistently high standard. The menu is built around classic old-school French staples (coq au vin, cassoulet, steak poivre, etc.) and practice clearly makes perfect.

The experience was quite dissatisfying. We waited for 45 minutes for our meal, and the initial waitress who served us seemed to ignore our presence. It took another waitress to assist us and discover that our food order had never been printed. I had to walk out.

Wonderful experience! Service was outstanding and the filet mignon as well as the green beans and mashed potatoes were out of this world! I will definitely return. Highly recommend!!!

We were seated at the canopy area, stinky. The older waitress was very aggressive and persuasive to push us to order more dessert, very annoying.
