The food is old. Fried chicken needs to be fresh. It cannot sit for too long or it dries out. The last few times I went, the chicken sat too long and was dry. In this part of Queens, this is an issue with many fried chicken places. You have to catch when a fresh batch of chicken is made or else. The macaroni and cheese was dry. 2-5-3 stars It was quite busy at the time we went in. There was a bit of a wait. Just two people working behind the counter. Ordered a 10 piece meal and only got 9 pieces. Chicken was ~7/10. I used to love their Cajun rice, can't put my finger on how it's changed. Something else that's not the same is their gravy. I could swear it used to be thicker. The store is clean. Not a whole lot of seating room. The guy who took care of us was friendly (but May lack math skills).

Positives are the food is good and the place is clean. However, slowest service in fast food I've ever experienced. Theres not even a drive through so I'm confused how they're so backed up. Also, the restroom is out of order?. Can't even sit down and enjoy the food because of that cause god forbid you gotta go. Unless you're taking out and not in a rush, I'd skip this place. Plenty of other popeyes around.
