Rolo’s
“I’ve been coming to Rolo’s since they first opened and they really never disappoint. The food just gets better and better. Everything is amazing but my hands down favorite is the shrimp. I’d say it’s easily some of if not the best shrimp I’ve ever had in my life. The whole menu just compliments itself from the Calabrian chili butter to the wagyu steak. Also, Sitting in the back of the restaurant is such a cool experience because you get to watch the chefs work their magic on that wood fire grill. This is definitely one of the best restaurants in NYC and in my top 5.”
“Ada cao nnnnnbbbbbbbbI had the most delicious dishes at this hot pot restaurant. Its unique taste and delicious texture are unforgettable. The environment in the store is also very good, and the service is attentive. It is very suitable for bringing family and friends to taste.”
“Was here for a friends baby shower and it was lovely. They went above and beyond to make the occasion special. The event room is in the basement so no natural light. Looking forward to going again and dining upstairs.”

“I’m obsessed with the Chicken Dum Biryani! It can be a little gamey at times, but it’s worth it for the flavor and overall presentation. A really special place!Parking: Take the train, don’t drive!”

“I will rate this place somewhere between three and four. The restaurant is beautiful, and the staff were courteous and friendly, well deserved 5-star rating. The food is a hit and miss. You need to know what to order in this place, otherwise, the dining experience could be unpleasant to your palates. The ribs in the cage looked fun but not impressive while eating them. The bathrooms were super unpleasant. It is a publicly shared bathroom and is poorly managed.Vegetarian options: There were not a lot of vegetable dishes here, but decent selections. Need to specify no meat for special dietary requirementsParking: The parking lot is expensive in the basement, and SUPER DIRTY AND SMELLY in the stairwells.”

“I just cannot get over how good the katsu is. The chicken katsu curry has to be my favorite in the city by far and has been since they opened. It's hard for me to find time to go here, but it's such a genuinely rewarding meal, and i'm happy to sacrifice the place being open daily for the love and time that seems to go into everything there, from the in-house food to the curation of snacks and drinks. The portion is absolutely enormous, bigger than any ive had anywhere here or abroad, and the quality is astonishing. It's just so good.Cool shirts too :)”
“Their turmeric bun is insanely good. Was lucky enough to catch it right as it was fresh out of the oven and waiting to be glazed. Almost doubled back for another one it was so good (self restraint won).Delicate, flaky, caramelized crust. Fluffy, light, moist pull-apart center. I usually find glazed pastries too sweet, but this one was perfect - just sweet enough to hit the spot but not too sweet that it feels heavy. The balance of flavors is just right. Just a hint of turmeric that isn't at all overpowering.”
“Claudia is the server you should ask for...the acrobatic show was amazing...food and drinks were on....atmosphere was lively and fun...definitely a spot to try...”
“Hands down, best seafood restaurant in town. The food was delicious and the service was superb! The grilled octopus and crab cakes hit the spot! Red snapper was cooked to perfection.”
“Unreal the best owner is a class act and the chef everything I have order is a 10 the clams to die for !!! If u have not gone go u will return many a time!! Even the pizza is unreal!!!”
“I can’t describe how amazing the food and staff were ! The person who I believe was the manager was very attentive and mad us laugh so much. “It was a great show. I can’t imagine this as a great food but every thing is better with unlimited saki and amazing companies. My wife and I had a great time. It wasn’t hard to find just under staircase and you felt transported out of New York. The food is amazing. They put up a great show and quality is reasonable. I enjoy the food but you can really drunk with the saki.Amazing restaurant and definitely a visit if you are in town. Experience depends on the host.”

“The service was non-NYC-level friendly and the food was excellent. The chopped salad was a surprise hit, and our party of 4 agreed that their mushroom pie is the best mushroom pizza we’ve ever had.”
“This is a great place for seemingly authentic Caribbean cuisine. The atmosphere is great with great natural lighting in the day and a nice lounge atmosphere in the evening. The food is delicious and they have many classics like mofongo and patacón. The biggest problem is the time it takes to receive the food once ordered. Also I'd highly recommend a reservation if dining in.”
“The venue is beautifully done. All the staff was attentive and pleasant. We had greek sausage, manouri wrapped in phyllo with honey& sesame seeds to start. The swordfish and mignon kebabs were perfect!!! And the yogurt with vissino(sour cherry) spoon sweets was the perfect way to end the meal. :-)”
“SEARCH NO MORE for your next intimate & fun party venue! CHARLIE'S, The Bonnie's sister bar right next door was everything I dreamed of and more for my 30th Birthday party. Let me set the scene for ya'll... 35 of my closest friends, Game of Thrones themed decor & fits, cocktails that made everyone say "I drink and I know things" and the most fire food in the neighborhood... the party was a SLAY. Tali, the company's event coordinator, is the sweetest, most hard-working, and detail-oriented, especially when it comes to your event. She even went above and beyond to surprise me with a GOT themed menu by naming my cocktails after details of life. For example, she named the spicy margarita after my dog, "Kevyn the Kingslayer." COME ON! How amazing is that?!Speaking of cocktails... the incredible bartender, Olivia, bartended Red Witch magic with the amazing cocktails she made for everyone. She even dressed along with the theme, with her sword, serving vibes that was giving Night's Watch combined with Red Keep of the Bar. Everyone kept raving about every cocktail she made with style and care. When it comes to the food, The Bonnie always delivers, so of course my hopes were high for Charlie's. AND MY HOPES WERE MET! The ham and cheese toastie platter was delicious. The franks in a blanket were some of the best I've ever had. The beef sliders were a HUGE hit. And there were veggie options so we had the veggie quesadilla and the mac and cheese bites which were a crowd favorite.Overall, this party at Charlie's made me feel like Daenerys Targaryen on top of her Throne, like the Queen that was promised. Thank you to the Bonnie's manager Gerard for popping in to see if everything was going smoothly as well! That was so sweet. To The Bonnie/Charlie's staff - Tali, Olivia, Gerard, barbacks - Marvin & Pascual, and the talented chefs/kitchen staff, thank you so much! Your hospitality is EPIC!”
“Came here last Thursday, Very cute vibe and the music was amazing. Absolutely a place I would come too again for a girls night. Drinks were good but they only have finger food which was good as well.”
“One of my favorite restaurants in all of Astoria! My husband and I always bring friends and family here when they visit the neighborhood. The staff is always so incredibly nice and generous (Miljan is usually our server and is so attentive and hilarious). We always have a wonderful time here, whether it’s a quiet weekday lunch or a packed Saturday night.”
“I really love cheli’s crab powder tofu! The tofu is very tender! I really like the taste of crab noodles. Just to eat this crab powder tofu, I will come again next time.”
“Has such a yummy and pleasant omakase experience in Astoria on a week night, thanks to That Place. The restaurant is so beautifully decorated and clean. The host/server was so attentive and sweet during the entire 1.5hr experience - my water/tea was refilled almost automatically after every sip. Same is also included in the omakase pricing which is really nice for drinkers ! The chefs worked together and created really delicious pieces- every one was super yummy. Their matcha ice cream and cheesecake were also so good ! Overall, was such a great experience and will definitely be back again for a weeknight or weekend dinner.”
“I have been dining at La Flor since they first opened a while ago. Chef Viko is very creative and does a regular menu plus seasonal specials. He uses farmer’s market ingredients and is very generous with the portions. Expect to see very colorful and tasty combinations. The core of the menu here is Mexican food with French and Italian notes. The home made pastries and desserts are a solid plus to the dining experience. The wine list has Ben carefully selected and the moderate prices don’t sacrifice the quality. In all, La Flor is one of my favorites in New York City.Vegetarian options: Salads, seasonal veggies.Dietary restrictions: The chef is very knowledgeable and kind and is willing to accommodate special requests.Kid-friendliness: Family place and everyone is welcome.”
“Hands down the best cocktail bar in Astoria. Great atmosphere, delicious cocktails and food, service is always on point and friendly staff. If you like whiskey make sure you order the “Southern Gravity” …..so good!”
“It was an authentic french experience!I had the french onion soup, that was sooooo tasty… probably without doubt the best french onion soup I’ve had, and as entree I had the Chicken cordon Blue, and for sure was the best ever! So creamy…so tasty…green beans and purée with perfect season and butter. My husband had the Steak au proive which prepared exactly to his liking, and the chocolate mousse was superb cuz I tried!Make efforts to visit this place, and I give you myword that you will have a great experience as we had.The staff of the restaurant was so kind and attentive .For sure we are coming back!Enjoy the food!”

24 Hour Restaurants
“Who doesn't love a good ole' diner? Love this spot for late night snacks or hangover brunch food lol. I like their Turkey sandwich and oreo pancakes. Everything's super quick too.”
“A lot of working staff I think it’s 24 hrs too. The Cesar wrap is so goodddddd. Food was made fastttt but I think it was pushing almost $40 for just one wrap and sandwich with no drinks.”
“I’ve always had a good time going here, prices are more than just reasonable, their taste is also very consistent overall. They open from 10 AM to 10 PM despite what Google says.My personal favorite is the lamb over rice with mayo and hot sauce, which is only $7. Not only is it super filling, but also rich in flavor especially if you ask for extra sauce.”
“Charlie and the crew made our experience amazing and the food is unexpectedly delicious for a diner! The menu has everything. You MUST go to The Buccaneer when in Queens.”
“Everything is excellent, their products are top quality, the only thing that sometimes I don't understand is why they don't pay attention when you ask for juice WITHOUT ice and they put it in.”
“It is a family atmosphere, the staff is very respectful and friendly, the food is exquisite. And whenever I can share with my loved ones. It is the first restaurant on the list to go to eat with my family and friends ????”
“Veggie Samosa, chicken Samosa. Chicken tikka and garlic naan. Everything was top notch delicious. This place is fantastic. I heard about it on a YouTube foodie video and grabbed takeout for my long drive out of town and what a great meal I had waiting for me.”
“# Hahm Ji Bach Restaurant ReviewRecently, my girlfriend and I visited Hahm Ji Bach, a delightful Korean restaurant that offers a wide range of delicious dishes. It's our go-to place after a long day, providing a healing atmosphere for both body and mind.## Our order for two### Main Courses**Kalbi:** This dish was tender and cooked to perfection. Even though it wasn't served as a table-side Korean BBQ, the flavors were immaculate.**Beef tartar bibimbap:** This cold dish offered a great balance of sweet and savory flavors. The raw beef and veggies combination was both healthy and delicious. If you never tried Korean raw beef before, it's delightfully refreshing.**Beef Skin and Blood Soup:** The soup had a rich iron flavor, with tender fatty beef skin. The spicy soup was served very hot and was a winning combination. The favors all came together really well into a wonderful soup. This dish also had a very healthy and delicious balance.### SidesThe sides at Hahm Ji Bach were outstanding and could each be a dish on their own. My favorite was a green vegetable dish that resembled spinach but had a unique cilantro-like taste. My girlfriend couldn't get enough of the mashed sweet potato and peas side.## VerdictOur dining experience at Hahm Ji Bach was exceptional, and we were thoroughly impressed. The food was top-notch, and the sides were so good that we would order them as individual dishes. If you're looking for a Korean restaurant with delicious flavors and a cozy atmosphere, Hahm Ji Bach comes highly recommended.Ambiance: Beautiful and Cozy Great for familiesDrinks: OkFood: Exceptional Korean CuisinePrice: $$Restaurant Cuisine: KoreanOur Order: Kalbi, Beef tartar bibimbap, Beef Skin and Blood Soup, Green vegetable side dish, Mashed sweet potato and peas side dish”
“I always go to this place when I want lunchmeat and rolls. Their deli meat is always fresh, and their sandwich rolls are out of this world! Made on the premises. A must try if you haven't.”
“It's okay. Lamb was really good. Chicken was kind of dry, and I wasn't a fan of the flavor tbh. I didn't like the white sauce much either. Falafel was okay, not too special. Worker is very nice.”
“Very special considering it's spacious, open to everybody, got wifi, ok coffee and snacks and nice atmosphere! Only place to sit and relax in terminal 5... “After catching up with some friends at the local, I found myself at Singas where I was met with great respect and hospitality from the owner. It was clear to me that a lot of work and effort had been put in towards the quality of the food as well as the overall decor of the pizzeria. My two friends and I split a pepperoni and buffalo pie, which both tasted terrific, and later in the night the owner was nice enough to let us try the Tikka Marsala pie on the house! The quality and portioning of the ingredients felt above-average, and the distinctive thin crust style of the pizza is one to remember. Thanks again for a great dinner, definitely on my recommendation list and cannot wait to go back and try some of the other products!!!”
“First time in NY and looking for a good sandwich place near our hotel. Just got off the train and was lucky enough to spot this place across the street. The reviews were great so we headed over. Cashier and cook were kind enough to make recommendations. Philly cheese steak was tasty and half the price (9$) of the other places we looked up. Overall food and service A++!”
“Great service. love this store, however new old guy making sandwiches is so bad. Always messing up orders and has no respect for others. Only reason this store is getting 4 stars is because of the great staff there in the mornings. !”
“Great store accepts ebt and makes sándwiches quick. Always someone hanging around lots of high school kids go here too. I try to go around the times they're in school”

Takeout Restaurants
“Had a 'dinner' of appetizers here with the family. Something for everyone-from the vegan, the vegetarian, to the carnivores. We enjoyed the fava beans dish, loved the liver and sweet reads, and the meatballs. Atmosphere was quiet, and the spot is small, so for a larger group-we we're 5 people, I'd make a reservation. Food came out super fast, and the staff was very friendly. Next time we will try the dishes.”
“I was eying this place ever since moving into the neighborhood and I finally visited when family came into town. The place held up to my expectations I can see why it is always busy. The staff is friendly, we did not wait for a table, and everything was served in good time. For food we did steak, salmon, lemon potatoes, and calamari, everything was so so good and the portions were big. I will definitely be coming back”
“Great little beach front find.Good prices and amazing veggie burger made in-house using actual ingredients (quinoa, beans and veggies)Also recommend the frozen sangria!”

“Don’t let the outside fool you, always walked past but the inside has a whole different atmosphere. It’s rather lovely and reminds me of France/Italy, fresh flowers and staff is amazing! Not to mention how amazing the food is! Some of the best food in Astoria, heaven for vegetarians. I’m not even vegetarian and the Charred broccoli panini is one of the best things and I’m not even vegetarian. Must try in Astoria”
“What an incredible find! I love Thai food and this is hands-down the best Thai restaurant in NYC. The entire staff was so friendly and accommodating and took great care to make sure we had a wonderful experience. Even the chef came out to greet us and make sure he got the spicy levels right for each of our dishes. I had the Pad See Ew with vegetarian duck, which was the best I have ever had. Highly recommend!!!!Vegetarian options: The vegetarian duck (in the pad see ew) is the best I have ever had!!”
“I came here for the 1st time during restaurant week & I cannot wait to return back to try the rest of the menu. The staff & atmosphere was friendly & welcoming, you could tell locals come all the time. Everything I ordered was tasty, but the star of the show was my main entree, Moqueca (Brazilian fish stew with tomatoes, pepper, onions & coconut milk) - It was both comforting and flavorful. The fish was cooked to perfection (soft, tender & flaked easily with my fork), the coconuts milk stew was rich & robust in flavor, with a smooth enough consistency to coat your spoon. In summary, it was chefs kiss! ?”
“Wonderful Balkan food. This place certainly exceeded all my expectations. And I was born in the Balkans. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food and pleasant atmosphere.”
“Went to Pata Cafe for lunch in Elmhurst, Queens, NY. Looking for authentic Thai? You'll find dishes here that are hard to find in the ??. NY Times and Michelin recommended for casual authentic Thai fare.Had Thai Lychee tea and Yum Woon Sen. Sweet and complex flavor for the tea. Spicy, tangy, earthy, and herby flavors for the dish. Too full for dessert! The wife had the beef soup.Only seats 12 people max. Cash or Venmo only. Lots of free street parking on a Saturday. Can't wait to go back!Dietary restrictions: Most dishes dairy freeParking: Found parking right in front immediately on a Saturday for lunch”
“I ordered 3 sandwiches through GRUBHUB. And I must say "WOW!!!!!" So delicious, fresh and tasty! Best of all, the bread was fresh and soft!!! I'll definitely order from here again! No question!!!”

“Great place for great Gelato! We tried Pistachio, Figo and Ferrero Rocher. They were all amazing, but the Pistachio was absolutely stunning! 100 out of 10 !!!I wish I could afford to have ice cream here everyday. It's a real treat and will definitely come back if possible.”
“I went with my family to celebrate my 32nd birthday. The food was 10/10 andres, our waiter was super kind to us. The appetizers were super delicious. When the main course arrived, Andrés recommended that we combine my steak with a wine that was spectacular. I would definitely go back to this restaurant again and again.”
“This was one of the best Thai dinners I've ever had in New York. Intimate, homey, fresh, friendly, michelin quality, and every dish a 8.5 to 10. Great price and staff! The spicy pineapple curry duck won me over, with the perfect richness and spicing! Spice levels can be adjusted. Cocktails were cute but definitely just opt for the beers IMO. Definitely will return. Great date night spot~”

“This place is a little gem and I’m so glad I found out about it through restaurant week! My friend got the chicken korma and I got malai kofta and we shared classic naan, all were delicious. Will be returning ASAP.”
“I've been coming here for almost two years now. After my first visit I was very impressed. We've been coming almost every week since then and I have never had a disappointing meal or experience. The chef cooks everything well from seafood, pastas, meat, chicken and veal entrees to fresh salads, potato croquettes and sautéed veggies! Great selection of wines, drinks, desserts. Lovely clean dining room. Service is always extraordinary whether super busy or just a few tables. Now that I'm retired we livecgoing at lunch time. They have a terrific lunch specialist you're on a fixed income. Generous portions off the regular menu 75% of the time I'm bringing some home. Danny the owner couldn't be nicer or more accommodating. Most of the time Wilson is our server and Luis is the helper. Entire staff is great but really have to applaud Wilson and Luis for how well we've been taken care of from day one! My favorite restaurant, go enjoy, you will go back again and again!”

“After returning from our trip, we landed at JFK airport around 11:40 PM and found ourselves in need of place to eat. We searched and found this restaurant. A quick call and confirmed their operating hours assured us they were open. Our two families settled in and enjoyed a late dinner, and we were thoroughly impressed by both the quality of the food and the service.”
“I loved everything about this place ❤️. First of all as soon as you open the door you get slapped respectfully with the scent of good food and the ambience is immaculate. “My new favorite malatang spot! Super friendly and attentive owner and staff. The place is always clean and they have an option for dry hotpot and malatang with a variety of hotpot foods to choose from (I also order the sweet and sour pork, SO GOOD) 10/10 recommend trying this place out!”
“Ordered on seamless as a pick up. Went to pick up to be told they didn't see half of the screen. This was the 2nd time same issue. Food tasted good so maybe worth a shot again.”
“This location is near my place and I always see it when I pass by. Tonight I felt like stopping by to pick an order to go. The place looks a cool spot to hang with friends and family and super clean and helpful. I skimmed thru the menu quick and the Karaage Curry caught my eye since it was a curry dish !!! I must say the food was good! However, it was a big disappointment in which there was no curry ..? Just some sweet sauce drizzled on the chicken katsu. I was really looking forward to this dish/my dinner but the curry was a no show! Kindly can do better with this dish by actually adding the curry sauce!!”
“Great authentic Chilean food. Our Chilean friend tati brought us here and the service was amazing, everyone super friendly and they have delicious food and drinks!”

“Wonderful Balkan food. This place certainly exceeded all my expectations. And I was born in the Balkans. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food and pleasant atmosphere.”
“Great food, better service! Went in there and felt right at home, the mezze selection was fantastic, the lahmacun was perfection, and the manti was just how I hoped it would be. Highly recommend!”
Fine Dining
“A cool 420 friendly environment. The staff is cool and friendly. The food and drinks are good. My server Kiyon was the coolest ?, took his time; he made my experience great ? ? ? ?. Definitely will be back to visit again.”
“Best Omakase in NY, period!I’ve pretty much tried every Michelin star (including Masa) Japanese restaurant in NY. They don’t come anywhere near the quality of food and service to Koyo. We’re here every month now. Hope they get a Michelin star soon!”
“One of the best meal experiences there is. From the intimate dinner party setting to an extremely interactive chef who wants you to engage with him and feel as if you are at his home. There was not a detail from the art to each bite of food to the service and beverage pairings that was not intentional and deliberate.”
“Emily was our server and she was beyond excellent! She gave us time and had suggestions. It felt like we knew her after only a few minutes. We started with a dozen oysters then We had the porterhouse for two and shelled king crab legsMelt in your mouth, eye rolling delicious!Parking: There was no parking. Valet was ideal”
“A hidden gem in Queens!!! (Literally, because it's a speakeasy omakase tucked away in a Thai restaurant.) Attentive staff, cozy atmosphere, and amazing sushi! Highly recommend.”
“Came here for the 18-course omakase. At first, I was concerned that it would be too much… how could I have 18 courses? Would I be too full? Too gluttonous?Luckily, each of the courses (a piece of sushi) was small and I was not too full by the end of the meal. There were delicious pieces and each were unique on their own - too many pieces to name. Some were just okay - none I disliked. The price was fair for the quality and the experience.I paired the meal with a bottle of sake - the limited sake list had a variety of styles and prices.Finished the meal with a yuzu cheesecake and that was a fine ending!”
“My favorite omakase place thus far!!! Been here 3 times and all my friends that I brought loved it as well. Chef Kin made our experience so exquisite. Def will be coming back!Came back again and wanted to praise Chef Sam! After a disappointing experience in Times Square location, I wanted to show my bf the experience I always had in Bayside. He was very welcoming and accommodating. He took his time to explain the whole process to my bf who is new to omakase and we both loved it. Everyone at the bayside location is professional and very accommodating. Much appreciated!!!”
“Ordered a Tres Leche cake and it was awesome. Celebrated a co-worker's birthday and everyone asked where I bought the cake. Thank you! Will definitely buy again!❤️?”
“Excellent breakfast burrito!I ordered a classic breakfast burrito and a coffee here before going to work on a rushed morning. Food came out fast, and was packed up nicely; even plenty of napkins in the bag.Started eating the breakfast burrito and holy cow that thing is good. All sorts of powerful flavors working together, but none of them drowning any of the others out. Great stuff; I'll be coming back!Coffee is fine but don't set your expectations on the brew too high. No markdowns for this since it's not really what this truck is about.Highly recommended!”
“This place was wonderful ! The food was amazing and so were the drinks. The atmosphere was great and Veronica was very attentive with making sure my family had a great time here. She’s awesome !”
“I went to celebrate my wedding anniversary and they treated my wife and I like royalty. However I was underwhelmed with the food, personally. The lobster bisque had an abundance of fresh lobster, but it didn't have the flavor I was craving in a bisque. The same went for the scallops, which sounded very good but didn't quite meet my expectations. Overall, this is a great restaurant for it's proximity to Broadway, but the food left something to be desired.”
“The food overall were all very fresh and the staff very attentive. The menu has a variety of food to choose from. The restaurant looks clean and spacious. The atmosphere gives off a calm vibe. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely come ”
“Good food for a good value. Best KBBQ with good quality, tender meat and authentic flavors. The complementary side dishes are just as good as the main course. I asked the server where they got some of the side dishes and she said they were all made fresh, in-house.”
“Their sushi meat wasn’t tough and rubbery like it is in most sushi places and the house sake was a hit. The food came out immediately and the staff were nice. Plus the bathroom was fairly clean.FYI we came on a night where it wasn’t too busy. But I had no complaints about the service. The only thing is that the price might be too high for some people, and the portion sizes may be slightly smaller. But the high quality of the food made it worth it for me.”
“I would of gave this place a 5 star but the manager was horrible basically kicked me and my family out the restaurant because they had another party coming in he was rude. I didn't know they had a 1 1/2 hr seating rule after that you have to wrap it up and leave. The restaurant is small but beautiful I booked a party for 10 to celebrate my son's 24th birthday. The food was amazing and our server was great sorry I forgot his name but he was really nice and kept saying his manager is going to come and hurry you up and he kept apologizing and didn't want to be rude. The amount of money that was spent which was $800 I feel the manager could of been a bit more respectful with his approach. I will not go back only because of the seating policy.”

I will definitely be coming back”
“I really love cheli’s crab powder tofu! The tofu is very tender! I really like the taste of crab noodles. Just to eat this crab powder tofu, I will come again next time.”

“I don't know what's in the special sauce for their "Frank Steak," but I think I just saw God. That was exceedingly delicious, congratulations ???”
“Hidden gem! I always see how packed the restaurant is at all times of the day and decided to try it out. The lattes we had were delicious! And the brunch special was superb! The chickpea curry had the perfect amount of spice. The seating area is rather small, so come in early for a seat. We had to sit at the shared seating couch - which is laptop free! I will becoming here again to explore the menu. They also offer some table top games to play while you enjoy your meal”
“I LOVE this cafe!! Such a gem right by Astoria park. My husband and I came across Sunshine Cafe one night and we are so glad we did. The food is so fresh and absolutely delicious. They also have the best lentil soup and iced teas! Last, the owner is the sweetest person!! Highly recommend this spot!”
“I love this place, the food is so homemade and so delicious, it doesn't have excess seasonings or is heavy and it always has the perfect amount of salt?, the people who work at this place are so helpful and friendly that I could eat here every day, I love this place and it is super clean, I definitely recommend it!!”
“Pleasant cafe is amazing!!! The best Macchiato!!! The best Burek… It’s Dukagjini!!!! A must try in the Steinway/Ditmars area. This a gem in our neighborhood. Such a cute spot to hang out for coffee or later in the evening for drinks. The decor is very chic and well put together. Go and check it out!!”
“A place really recommended, warm welcome, magnificent taste, reasonable price ❤️A place really recommended, warm welcome, magnificent taste, reasonable price ❤️”
“Most food is great (sandwiches, salteñas, drinks, desserts) but certain things (like mac and soup) need SALT. The rice pudding is quite sweet but good if you eat warm. The portion size is laughable though.... like 3.5-4oz. Prices are about $1-2 higher than you expect for each item. Fried chicken sandwich is starting to taste like it's fried in old oil. And on the BLP website delivery is free BUT you are still hit with a $3.50 "service fee", which is the restaurant's for using a delivery service. But on Grubhub+ the same service fee applies AND prices food is higher! So even with free delivery it will be higher. I ended up paying over $40 for food for 1. Service is great, music is great, even if loud. I hope they create a better price point for the neighborhood they serve and make the sides as good as the main stuff!”
“My Fiance took me here for my birthday brunch and it was amazing! The ambiance, fresh and creative food and delicious bubble tea refreshers!I highly recommend this place for a fun brunch or dessert spot!”
“Amazing ice cream! Incredible flavors. Really different but delicious. Not your regular ice cream flavors! This are better. Got the coconut and was my favorite. Amazing service also 10/10.”
“A-mazing!! Tiny little hole in the wall Mediterran lunch spot. Only six tables and the chef was on his own that day. No servers or cleanup staff that I could see. He did it all! But Best was the Food!! Tasty and Huge, we had falafel, wraps in handmade thin bread. I ordered the Vegan sandwich, which included roasted eggplant, and cauliflower, hummus, lettuce tomatoes, and french fries! It was warm with a juice or gravy of some sort. It was delicious, if messy.! I look forward to my next visit.”
“Yum yum yummm. As a Taiwanese person, I loveeee the basil mayo sauce with the large popcorn chicken. It’s a total delight after a long workout at the climbing gym too. I also reccomend the ru rou fan (marinated pork) on a bed of rice a with half an egg and scallions”
“Great food and mostly prompt sit down service (just took a bit of time to get the check). We really enjoyed the fancier rolls like namesake roll. Would absolutely visit again.”
“I was very skeptical. I left feeling like i got a great meal at a great price.Just check it out, it'll exceed your expectations.I liked the chili crab dry ramen”
“I'm so glad I stumbled upon this place. One of the best coffee concepts I've come across in a while. The coffee is incredible, and their setup is top-notch. It's now my go-to coffee place. Their Fredo Coffee tastes just like it does back in Greece.”
“Absolutely excellent! This place did not disappoint AT ALL. Having multiple Mexican restaurants very close to their location they stand out for their authenticity to the Mexican flavors. Julio was an excellent host as one of the owners/managers. So happy I had that experience at mayahuel, definitely going back.”
“Went here last weekend to have lunch with our daughter who goes to St. Johns. Parked right on the corner (Metered ) no parking lot for those wanting to know. Mostly college crowd. Service was quick and good. Photos from others are the same as ours so i won't post. We would definitely go back again.”
“Hands down the best cocktail bar in Astoria. Great atmosphere, delicious cocktails and food, service is always on point and friendly staff. If you like whiskey make sure you order the “Southern Gravity” …..so good!”
“Place is welcoming, people are super friendly and the food is GREAT! We have been coming here for years and it has not changed. The red house wine is STUPENDOUS!!! It's a MUST.Parking: Big lot, but they offer valet. It's perfect!”
“Spectacular ! I love absolutely everything and a thousand thanks to Danna for her service and recommendations! You have to try their margaritas, what a delightxoxo Edgy”

“This time I came to Sanqi Alley, things have really changed a lot. The dishes have been upgraded, fresh and large in quantity, and the service has also become better! Hope it stays that way! we will come ”
“I don’t know if I will ever get to Nepal. The team here makes sure you feel as close to their home country as possible. Explaining every dish, the origins, and giving explanations on how and what the meanings of the displays in the restaurant are. Very great experience.”
“Went there with my friend today. Hands down, best pizza I have had in Astoria. Order Marinara sauce on the side, trust me. Service was as good as the pizza, ladies inside were really nice. Highly recommend this place if you are a pizza lover like I am. I’ll be back for sure!”
“The only good bar in the entire neighborhood, and great overall. It's the oldest bar in NYC (aside from one in Wall St.) - You might recognize it from GoodFellas.Worth going out of your way for the history, and worth coming to just because. They play the sports games with the volume on. Have to love it.”
“Amazing banquet hall! Great ambience, very clean very friendly environment, very fancy, owner was very nice and accommodating. Tasty food, tasty chai, would come back for sure. A+++”

Cap't Loui
“Great tasting food fast service and nice people. PSA if youre allergic to sea food dont come here probably common sense but someone came here arguing with the nice servers that her kids are allergic and she will call DOH ??”
“I can't recommend this place highly enough. The owner is super friendly and the entire staff is very accommodating and professional. They all make the effort to ensure that everyone enjoys their dining experience. I've been there a few times and have always enjoyed the quality of the food. Definitely check it out!”
“Jury is still out on this place. Great service, beautiful decor, but still not sure about the food and or choices. My husband did like the wine though...I'm not a wine drinker. Perhaps will try again them again.”

Margie's
“I've been to Margie's for breakfast twice. The staff is wonderful. The decor is very tasteful. The food is scrumptious and generous. I heartily recommend Margie's if you are ever in the Rockaways.”

Sala Astoria
“best tapas outside of spain, and fair prices for the quality and taste, freshness too.used to be on 19st pre pandemic this location is beautiful. staff very friendly. we’ve been all over, to thousands of restaurants in the city and this is one of our favorites.Kid-friendliness: lots of families and lots of space”
“This place is a little gem and I’m so glad I found out about it through restaurant week! My friend got the chicken korma and I got malai kofta and we shared classic naan, all were delicious. Will be returning ASAP.”
“Food is good but they raised their prices and it's only worthwhile if you can get them to actually bring the dishes you order. Sometimes we have difficulty getting orders in even when they're not that busy. Still, very solid place.”
“These people do not have disposable utensils whatsoever! Food is good, but if people order out it is only common courtesy to provide disposable utensils. I was on my break and it was impossible to find disposable utensils. That really bothered me.”
“Early March my and wife and I held a baby shower there. They were extremely accommodating with us and our guest. They also were very friendly and it worked out very well. We had families and most of the ladies at the tables and we had filled the bar with our drinkers and younger crowd.Music was good/ food was good / service was great! Anne was such a great manager worked hand in hand with our coordinator to make that day such a great experience.Overall 10/10 would highly recommend your next event there.”

“A cool 420 friendly environment. The staff is cool and friendly. The food and drinks are good. My server Kiyon was the coolest ?, took his time; he made my experience great ? ? ? ?. Definitely will be back to visit again.”
“I don't ever really write reviews, but after today's visit I wanted to share. I have been going to Cafe Turkey since they first opened, the food is very yummy, fresh, the service is amazing. Today I went there at 9PM, after a long day at work. They were getting ready to close, no one was there but they opened the back area for me to have dinner, turned on the heat, let me take my time to eat didn't rush me, AG was very welcoming and so kind to check if I needed anything and let me stay after they close for the day. It felt like a family not a just business. Thank you AG for making my night feeling so welcome at my local favorite restaurant in Astoria.”
“The portion is huge! We got the combo for 2 and we had leftover for next day! It’s a win win! We got the spicy sour with fish and beef. Their chicken gizzard is a MUSTT! The decor inside is amazing!”

JUQI 局气
“Priming Duck and Seasame cabbage is really good. Highly recommend! Definitely the best you can get for priming duck in New York. Our server Alan was very friendly”
“I work 12 hour shifts near here and I’m always soooo tired halfway through. I come here for a quick pick me up. The lady behind the counter is the absolute sweetest, drinks aside- she always lightens my mood. The açaí bowls are to die for- not mid. I’ve tried so many spots in Astoria and Vela is consistently yummy. Today. I went in for a milk tea and they ran out of boba. She went an extra mile to charge me for a medium despite me ordering a large! Soooo sweet. ??”
“Excellent food and service! 4 different people checked to make sure everything was great, not just my server. You can tell everyone cares about the restaurant here. Easy”
“I do eat here twice a week at least near by my job I love them chicken roasted with fries salad and rice for less then 14$ them prices fair specially happy hour drink 8$ that super good for upscale restaurantCustomer service is so great and professional I love the lights and the setting I’m loyal there lol”
“We celebrated a birthday and everyone in the family enjoyed the cuisine. Food was fresh and delicious from salads to sushi to main courses. The owner is responsive and accommodating and service staff is attentive. Would highly recommend!”

Kalye Bistro
“This Place is great! Food is delicious and tasty. We got the Beef Pares and the Beef Mami. The beef pares is really tender! And bone marrow that comes with it is also delish. Garlic fried rice is amazing. My suggestion that would make this Beef Pares perfect, is adding some kind of vegetable, on the side, to help cut through the savoriness of Beef. Perhaps some Garlic steamed bokchoy, or some atchara, or even just some tomato cucumber salad. Also, maybe giving the option for just plain steamed white rice would be great too, since the sauce of the Beef Pares is so delicious and you would want to pour it all over some plain white rice.Beef Mami- perhaps some crunchy chicharon toppings on top for extra oomph!service- greeting your customers as they walk in, would be great. Since there isn't a sign that say "seat yourselves" at the door. The setup of the restaurant and the vibe of the place definitely is for a "wait to be seated" kind of dining. A Simple Phrase such as "welcome, for how many people?" would not hurt. Acknowledge the presence of customers coming in; otherwise, they will be clueless and would feel unwelcome.Iskrambol- love it! I was really excited to see it on the menu!”
62
Joypot
“We got the mushroom and tomato soup base, which were great- I liked the former better but my husband like the latter, so it worked out well. We were stuffed with the all you can eat- come super hungry. Super kind staff.”
“Overall, we had a good experience. The food and service were great. My seafood risotto was excellent, but the burger was just okay. Note: Parties of 6 require a card on file with a $25 per person no-show.”

Zaab Zaab
“The best Thai food in NYC, and I’m NOT JOKING! Service is amazing, provided by servers who are upbeat and willing to make a conversation and advise. Food is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. Please do yourself a favor and order fish and som tum Thai! It is the best salad you’ll have, spicy and crispy ♥️?? p.s. Thai tea is an absolute DREAM ✨”
“The hospitality here was amazing and the food was cooked quickly and very well. You choose your seafood, pay and get a table. They’ll bring the items, and you tell them how you want everything cooked. We brought our own wine and were offered a bucket of ice to put it in, and they always checked our table to clear empty plates or see if we needed anything else. You can pay with card but I’d suggest bringing cash for tip.”
“First time trying their hotpot. Their soup base was very flavorful and smelled delicious. The food was also really fresh. The marinated meat was my favorite. My waitress kexin recommended me a lot of the dishes, and she was very knowledgeable of the menu. Amazing person! Definitely come back again.”

Bungalow Bar
“Great service, drinks and excellent burgers. The only thing that sucks is the parking and they have no control over that. Also consider it for parties! There’s a great open deck and a covered option that can be reserved.”

Macoletta
“stumbled upon this on a weekend drive out into depths of queens in the early afternoon food was great and savory hand made pasta and alcohol drinks were exceptional citrusy and flavorsome. An overall very well catered place with great food and ambience. great palce for a first date or a couple driving on the weekend.”
“Great lil Izakaya! The staff are extremely friendly and hospitalable, the food is delicious, the portion sizes are very generous, and a combination can be made if asked in advance.Definitely get the cheese corn and put some sweet soy sauce on it... And ask for the sweet and spicy sauce on the side, it makes any dish 50 times better lol. There's two other locations in New York, apparently one is in Manhattan, I'm not a local so I can't remember where the other location is... Either way I'm coming back to the Flushing location as I just really love the atmosphere, the location, and the staff...If you see the owner, tell them that the Black nerdy girl from Mississauga recommended the place and said to say hi ?”

Zaitun Halal
“I recently stumbled across this Mediterranean Halal grill. This place is a hidden gem, the food is always fresh. It’s always clean and the workers are very welcoming. 10/10”
“A great place for late night meal with friends. The food were delicious. We ordered the corn cheese, grilled pork belly, beef intestine hot pot and yakisoba w/ brisket. Definitely recommend this place.”
“We went late night and really liked the food, beef, lamb, squid skewers were all very flavorful but not overly spicy. Draft beer was very good. It took a while to get out ramen stir fry, but it was pretty tasty! The lamb skewers are pretty big, so don't order too many at first ”
“This place is amazing, and very cute! The customer service is great and the food is delicious! Super recommended!Kid-friendliness: Very family friendly. The bar is in the front but they have a few dining areas that are quiet.”
“Excellent decor, you can miss it from it's non descript exterior but once you walk through the door it opens up into a large space with fully stocked bar and a pleasing aesthetic. The beef tripe in chilli sauce is excellent and my favorite off the menu. They also give generous portions of both food and wine for a great price that doesn't break the bank.”
“Excellent place, everything clean, attentive and the seasoning is great. We always leave happy with my husband. I won't change this place for anything. Keep it up.”
“Vegan restaurant in Astoria, Queens - the only one we could find so far. Giving 5 stars for service and 4 for food - not bad, but lacks sophistication comparing to the vegan places with the same price range on Manhattan??️”

Taco Tumba
“I tried the berry love cocktail and I absolutely love it, it’s so nice and sweet, and matched perfect with my camarones a la diabla, the service of Valentina and Daniel was really nice and as a Mexican the food was more than acceptable.”
“Decent ramen for the price point at lunch, it’ll definitely hit the spot for anyone craving for ramen. Well cooked noodles and the broth (in the style of tonkotsu)was well made with a well developed richness and balance, service was very prompt and food came very quickly.”

Elias Corner
“I managed restaurants, this place is one of with traditional food which are unfortunately hard to find. It's really tasty fresh food. Waitress was kind and helpful, didn't rush us.”
“I ordered delivery and wasn't sure what to expect, maybe it was another mediocre yet hyped-up restaurant? Would the food arrive soggy or tough? But I was SO impressed. I ordered the tea smoked duck, Chongqing chicken, and crispy eggplant and it was all incredible, up there in quality with higher end Sichuan restaurants in the NYC area that charge double and give half the portions. I can't wait to try out more from their menu, hopefully next time in person!”
“Great music and friendly staff! I'd definitely come back. Please see the pictures and explanation of everything I ordered. The menu is extensive but I looked beforehand to have an idea of what I wanted.”
“Had the green chili pepper fish and braise beef noodles. The fish dish has a good variety of ingredients included inside like tofu, mushroom and some veg, not sure if opting for sea bass was a good choice for us but the soup was tasty! Although it's slightly pricey, it's a huge serving. So value is good! The waiter is also attentive and helpful.Kid-friendliness: High chair and kids cutlery”

“I have been craving nam khao tod since living in Europe where SE Asian food is fairly basic. This did not disappoint! They made it spicy as I requested and gave me more herbs/lettuce for free when I'd run out! Note it's cash only.”

Driftwood
“4.5 overall. A decent sized place with a bar (no liquor license yet, but they're trying for it! BYOB until then) and games to play. Lots of metered street parking. There were 8 of us (a couple of us carpooled) and we did not have trouble finding parking. Since there were 8 of us, we were able to try almost all their dishes! The bathroom is large and beautifully decorated florally. Mimi (the co-owner with Chef Shane) was informative and attentive. She helped us decide portion sizing and answered any questions we had. The water comes infused with citrus, adding a refreshing taste. We all opted to get other drinks as well. I opted for the Calico Calpico. It was balanced with the sweetness of the calpico and salted rim. Did not taste much of the oolong tea, though that is a lighter flavor. Must gets: The Golden Crab Bao was loaded with tender snow crab stuffed into a crispy bun. The creme fraiche and yuzu tobiko add a lovely balance. The Roasted Bone Marrow came with soft toast. Gotta eat it quick while it's still hot! The marrow was delicious and went well with the toasty but soft bread. There is a little bit of meat still on the bone for those who enjoy gnawing on bone! The Fresno Gouda Cornbread had a nice kick from the jalapeno. Perfectly crispy outside and soft inside. The Chicken and Mochi Waffle is a great twist on a classic dish. The salty and sweet soy garlic maple syrup went well with the crispy chicken and toasty squishy mochi waffle bites. I love how shareable this dish since it's bite sized! The Rice Noodle Rolls were flavorful, soft and chewy. Just wish I wasn't so full by the time this came out. I would have eaten much more! If you love...then get: The Endives Salad is a little strong with the vinaigrette. It does help balance the bitterness of the endive, but only get if you love endives. The Stir-Fry Peashoots was a big portion! It stayed pipping hot and was flavorful. I love pea shoot and this is a great version. The Mala Tots have a strong tingly kick, which can be cooled down with the delicious dip. I just wish there was more dip! The Charcoal-Seared Scallops is buttery deliciousness. It was seared perfectly. The pickles helped balance the richness. The Pork Ribs were fall off the bone tender and had a good little kick from the gochujang. The melted mozzarella went well with the spice. The sweet potatoes are on the side. Can skip: The Milk Bread is a bit small in size. Wish they were bigger so I could really taste the fluffiness. The honey butter is a tasty addition though. The Salmon Seaweed Crisp is a decent portion size. Fresh seafood atop a crisp with the wasabi crema hidden beneath (which I couldn't really taste). The BLT Fried Rice was loaded with bacon and tobiko. It felt more like a sticky rice than fried rice, but that is probably from the baconnaise and soy-cured yolk. Not a texture I am expecting with fried rice. The Pork Belly Wrap had cripsy pork, a few pieces of lettuce (we requested more), a tasty peri-peri dip, and pork rinds that was break your teeth hard. Besides not being able to eat the pork rinds at all, the dish was forgettable. Desserts were hard to judge since we were so full and only had a bite: The Asian Pear Sorbet was chilled and sweet. Nicely presented. The Persimmon Cake Roll wasn't too sweet. Not memorable though. The Milk Tea Pudding was super sweet, but did have a strong bergamot flavor. It was a looser consistency than expected. Wet wipe given at the end, which is great for those who opt for their boil or burger (neither of which we ordered, but would be interested in trying!)”

Asian Jewels
“I thought dim sum palace was the king of all dim sum, but I was wrong. Asian Jewels is my new to go to dim sum. Clean, noisy and damn good fresh dim sum. Get there earlier or you will be waiting for a while to get a seat and driving might be a nightmare in the afternoon since it is in flushing Queens. Again, this is only for dim sum review, I don’t know about lunch or dinner but if it is as good as their dim sum, I don’t think you can go wrong. Price is a bit higher for plate of dim sum but this is nyc, what did you expected?”
“Chela & Garnacha is our GO TO. There’s a million taco places in NYC but none match Chelas amazing food, Margs and service. Can’t rave enough about this place. Best tacos in ”

“The Szechuan cuisine scene in Flushing is unparalleled! The "Water-boiled Beef" is incredibly tender and flavorful, while the "Crispy Eel Shreds" offer a delightful crunch and aroma, perfect for pairing with wine. Their "Sweet and Sour Spare Ribs" and "Pea Shoots" are excellent choices for rice accompaniments. Plus, the servers, affectionately referred to as "rice bowl wizards," provide excellent service and make you feel right at home. Can't wait to return for another round of culinary delight! ??”
“Awesome place. Great food, great staff, fair prices. One of our favorite places to go!EDIT:Six years and plenty of dinners later and this place is STILL FANTASTIC!”
“It was our first time trying Nepalese food. The Sekuwa chicken was delicious. The chicken Tikka Masala was so tasty. You have to try the Naan Garlic bread with your food. It’s so good. I will definitely come back here. My gf is allergic to nuts so they made not include any nuts and the sauce was in the side for her Tandoori Chicken (grilled)”
“Picked up food from here for iftar , everything was packaged so cute , really good food, just wish it wasn’t so far from me , so I could get it more often ! Next time I’ll definitely dine in !”

Izakaya Nana
“I stopped by Izakaya Nana after a fun filled day in Flushing. Me and my friends had the pleasure of sitting in their traditional Japanese private dining room and loved every minute of the experience. It felt like we were transported to Tokyo. Our favorite dishes include the yakatori sampler, A5 wagyu, and truffle fries! I also recommend the strawberry sake mojito. The staff were pleasant and attentive. We can’t wait to come back!”
“The beer is amazing here. I am usually a fan of stouts and I absolutely loathe sours; however, I love trying everything. My friend and I finally made it to Evil Twin on the last day of our trip. I had the Irish Coffee Stout, which was so smooth, and my friend had the Evil Fusion Winter Edition Sour Ale. I reluctantly tried her beer and was blown away. I have never had such a smooth and delicious sour. The flavor is complex and wonderful. All beer lovers should flock to this place.”

“The squirrel fish is really delicious, you must order it when you come here! ! ! It's so delicious. It's cooked just right, the aroma is overflowing, and the taste is mellow. You can't help but take one bite after another. It's tender and juicy, melts in your mouth, crispy and delicious, and has endless aftertaste.”
“CASH ONLY SPOT! A good summer/spring spot to hang out outdoors to have a nice beer with a nice view. Its self service, so you order your own drinks at the bar. Not a lot of seatings so I suggest getting here early if you want to secure a seat.”
“This is my favorite restaurant in Astoria. Vibe is relaxed and the food is AMAZING.I'm a huge fan of the sukhothai noodles, fried pork strips, and the goi neur (warning, they were NOT kidding about the spice).Love this place, I'm tempted to stop inside anytime I'm in the area!”

“Absolutely stunning restaurant. So worth the trip to LIC. We had the Diablo pizza which was so flavorful and the dough was so soft and not chewy or tough at all. The burrata and tomato was fresh and light. The fish was cooked perfectly, flaky and soft, full of flavor. The tortellini was buttery, so creamy and delicious. I’m still thinking of the butter pecan gelato which is made by the owner’s son. The owner herself is so welcoming and effervescent. The wait staff were bright, cheery, helpful and attentive. Looking forward to going back.”
“Took me a minute to eat here just because I don't love that busy street or delivery, I had it delivery yesterday and it was thee best, I'm mad I waited so long will definitely be getting it ”
“I enjoy coming to the place and getting a quick breakfast sandwich like bacon and eggs . I sometimes I get a platter from the salad bar . My only gripe the posted hours are not current as they have been closing at 5pm and start removing the food from the salad bar at 4:30pm . I would also like them to be open for breakfast on Sunday since we no longer have the USA DINER SERVING THE COMMINITY.”
“DEFINITELY A WONDERFUL PLACE, EXCELLENT ATTENTION, AND INCREDIBLY EXQUISITE FOOD ?? 100% HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!THANK YOU FRIENDS OF THE KUCHARA PPR FOR ALLOWING US TO ENJOY THE RICH GASTRONOMY THAT ECUADORIANS HAVE ??❤️??”
“Good food prices are lower than most stores around. there buffet is cheaper per lb. Then the Food cellar supermarket 4-5 blocks down the block. I can’t believe all the negative reviews that’s not my opinion!!! I have been living in LIC since April I go at least twice a week for lunch better the most places in the area wish buffet was re stocked for dinner and Millie her self is a nice person some times people are just to critical 🤷♂️”
“Enjoy the whole experience a service was on top of everything. Experience someone else's birthday and celebration was very fun I recommend this place and no doubt their happy ending was very delicious and huge crepes.”
“Honestly love this Polish Deli (Zabka Deli) for their chocolates. I come from the Bronx and travel to Ridgewood Queens for their chocolates w/alcohol filling. They are also nice gifts/treats for Valentine’s Day, as well as for small birthday gifts and part of a Mother’s Day gift.”
“The customer service was great and food was delicious. My family and I ordered the fried rice, goat curry and dhal puri which was amazing. We would definitely order from here again.”
“I was really craving a mango pomelo sago and it's kind of hard to find at boba shops so glad they had it was really good! I did 50% sugar and was still sweet. I ordered the pork rice dish but unfortunately they were out of rice so I got it over noodles which were still really good (a little bit salty tho).I'm curious to try their other drinks like the taro or chestnut ones.”
“I love Smoke & Barrel! I traveled to Rockaway for the St. Patty's festivities and had to stop by S&B! I had some amazing corn beef sliders and potato salad that had a great dill flavoring.”
“It was date night!!! Double date night that is. My close boy and I planned a secret double date with our significant other. They did not know it was a double until we met up at the door of Salvaje social club. let me just say the ambiance did not disappoint at all, the wild jungle theme had me loving every minute of my walk in and stay. Throughout the night the smoke machine would random blow smoke give the place a misty look. The music was pumping all night long and kept us in an upbeat vibe. The selection of music was mainly Spanish music, they did sprinkle in some English music but for most the night it was reggaeton etc. Although I didn't understand what was being said I surely loved the beat of every song that played. The staff at salvaje was very quick, informative of the menu, polite and friendly. We started off with the seeds of passion which was very tasty and strong. We did two rounds of that drink, couldn't get enough of it lol. I then had a Hennessy and pineapple juice , I don't know what pineapple juice was used but it was so good along with the Hennessy. For starters we had the shrimp toastadas and let me tell you it was amazing , I highly recommend it. Two of us ordered the Milton's rice and the other two ordered chicken on the cut. The rice was well fried and seasoned along with the shrimp, it was just a bit salty but i still loved it, the food really did not let me down at all. We stuck around after eating to drink more and dance a bit during our stay. I'll give Salvaje a 10/10 for vibes 10/10 for drinks 9/10 for Food 10/10 for service 10/10 for ambiance”

“This is a usual spot for me so I was disappointed that my server forgot to request my favorite appetizer, the shrimpsargot. The service in general was slower than usual and the restaurant wasn't busy. Anyway, I'll be back but hoping for a better experience.”
“Absolutely beautiful atmosphere! My now Fiancée proposed to me here! The manager down to the wait staff was so accommodating and made sure everything was perfect for my special day. The food was amazing, so good i didn't take pictures. Thank you!! We will be back! ”

“Extremely authentic Cantonese noodle shop. The noodles were very fresh and almost crunchy. Soup base was good, and the shrimp dumplings were huge and tender. Service was friendly and when they found out we were from out of town, they recommended lots of fan favorites and even showed us their frozen menu to cook at home (we couldn't bring them with us, but would be a great option for locals).”
“This place was wonderful ! The food was amazing and so were the drinks. The atmosphere was great and Veronica was very attentive with making sure my family had a great time here. She’s awesome !”

“I was visiting the Flushing area for a concert and wanted to visit something near the Airbnb. This is a wonderful location which is very authentic within the area. I kept it simple and ordered fried rice, and there was so much food. I had leftovers which stretched two more meals. The inside environment is casual and simple. The service is phenomenal. Easy access and a wonderful experience.”
