There were only three people working the counter at this location and the one handling the walk-up customers had only one speed when serving the customers - SLOW! You could tell by her facial expression that she did not enjoy her job and it showed with the pace she was maintaining when there was a line of ten people waiting to pay for their food/beverage items. Finally a young man came out from somewhere and stated that he could take customers who wished to pay by credit card at one of the counter pay stations, but if you wanted tea or coffee you would have to wait in line!

Can’t say much other than it’s a place to get something to eat reasonably quick. I ordered the breakfast croissant with ham and cheese - $14.50, outrageous as expected. Luckily the croissant was good size at least and not too bad actually-it was hot as well. Eggs in the croissant were spongy but overall I’ve had worse breakfast foods in airports for sure. The service was quick at least, my server NEHLIN was quick and sweet and VERY attentive. With the croissant, You get a small side of fruit, as in 4 pieces of honey doo and 3 pieces of pineapple. I ordered a chai latte and that was around 5 bucks. Overall for a breakfast croissant and a chai latte with tax it was $24.50. Just absolute robbery - no way around it. Sadly the cost is average and “acceptable” for New York Airports but NEHLIN made the experience and helped me overlook the hole in my pocket.
