“At first then waitress started off getting, but I had spilled some water and asked for some napkins and she never bought them back to the table so that was the first time I had to get up and leave my autistic son at the table by himself so as I walked up to the front i saw the waitress eating food and I came to the conclusion that the gentleman who was sitting at the counter was her boyfriend or friend so I proceeded to ask the cashier for napkins as she stood there wiping her face and tried to say something that was just one occasion keep in mind there was 3 but other then that my son enjoyed the food and I did too great price on food make sure you get the app it has coupons“

“The courtesy of Brian over the phone was incredible, and he took time to answer a lot of questions, The service was excellent and Sam was incredibly attentive to everything. The food was wonderfully piping hot, delicious beyond words, and incredibly beautifully plated. Sam was great with our 8-year-old granddaughter! Everyone was so nice. “Lucky ? to have stopped at The Bunker during our stay in Greenbush. We sat at the bar and our server Lauren was so attentive, friendly and made a delicious dirty martini. The food was excellent! We ordered the salmon tacos and Philly cheesesteak, both scrumptious! Actually, I order fish tacos quite often and these were the best I’ve ever had. We will definitely stop in again when traveling through the are.“
“We decided to try Albany Ale and Oyster House on a chilly, rainy Wednesday afternoon since we had to be on New Scotland Avenue for an afternoon doctor appointment. I'm so glad we did, and also happy we arrived just as they were opening because we were able to sit at the bar and visit with one of the owners, Mia. We tried a flight of beer opting for all pilsners, one each from Italy France, Czechia and from our own New York region; all tasty, just the right amount of foam and nice and chilled. I ordered the Beyond brat which comes with comes with kale slaw and honey mustard, crispy potato chips in a brown paper bag for soaking up the oil and keeping them crispy, and a mixed green salad with the best sesame honey dressing. I love good salads and this one was perfect, with dressing on each lettuce leaf. Mia said they take their salads seriously, and you can tell. My partner had the Reuben and he proclaimed it the best he ever had. Overall the taste, presentation and preparation of the food was perfect. Combined with the cozy atmosphere and the friendliness of the owner and all who work there; Albany Ale and Oyster House is now one of my top favorites in the areaVegetarian options: In addition to the Beyond Brat they offer Beyond Burger and some interesting salads.“

“A very nice restaurant, but generally I don't enjoy their dinner menus. It's a bit too modern for my tastes with unusual and trendy dishes that seem to prioritize unusual ingredients over tasty dishes. That said, if you like that thing, they definitely do it well.I like stopping in for a burger or veggie burger at lunch, but their extended menu just isn't for me. The restaurant is run very well, staff is extremely professional, and the atmosphere is great.“
