“Fries are good but I still like the ones Wendy's made a few tears ago. Used Free Dave's Single coupon!! Wish it noted if you could only get the burger or a combo. I then ordered 3 chocolate chunk cookies. Wish staff had informed me that there was only 1 chocolate chip because without asking they just substituted 2 sugar cookies. Which aren't as good as chocolate. Ordered via app.“

“One thing I must just continue to express is how important small local businesses are. I cannot and I mean I CANNOT stress enough. When Bítchin Donuts advertises a flavor, IT IS THE FLAVOR. Orange Creamsicle? It’s an orange creamsicle. Strawberry frosting? Actually tastes like strawberry. (The other donut place DD is literally regular frosting died pink) Cosmic Cotton Candy? I literally took a bite of fair cotton candy.“

“This was my first time here, we were in Albany for appointment and were trying to find a vegan place. I didn’t know most places in Albany are closed on Mondays. Wizard burger blew our minds. The friendly staff were patient as we took a bit to take it all in. The atmosphere was great from the music to the decor, they also have a free library and can play retro video games. Onto the food, my husband had a burger and fries that he said was perfect. I had the Buffalo chik’n sandwich, and fries, I couldn’t finish mine due to the size. It was about 5 tenders cooked perfectly and smothered with Buffalo and ranch. The fries were hot, and not greasy like most places. The price for 2 entrees and 2 Mexican coca-colas were $30. Not bad for an all vegan meal with large portions. I highly recommend Wizard burger, and look forward to going back.“

“Nighthawks is one of my favorite places to eat in Troy! The menu is fascinating and filled with bangers, and the staff is super friendly. “We have been enjoying Fatty's for the last couple of weeks. we have been ordering from a third party delivery service .I noticed they wrote me a nice note thanking me for the order but also suggesting a call to the store for delivery . I was so impressed that they would rather me save money than going through a third party delivery service . unfortunately I don't live within there delivery range but such a great gesture . “A small hall in the wall with quality comfort food cooked by a family. This has been family owned and operated for years. Their food is delicious. The service is also very good no matter who your server is. Most of them are family members of each other and they all give you the same quality of service. Their gravy fries are SO delicious“

“There were 25-30 of us that came after a funeral. We each ordered individual means from the menu. Dan didn't miss a beat!! Our meals ALL arrived timely. Drink orders were replenshed timely. “I've been going there for years. Is the food a Michelin Star quality? Nope. But it's good for what it is. The turkey is top-notch. The staff are lovely. The views sitting outside are the best. Remember this is a restaurant that services a golf club and its food should be compared to country club food (notoriously bad by the way at most clubs) they do a very good job compared to their peers.“

I brought it home but I also love eating at their picnic tables when it's warmer. “As an Albany resident, I take no pleasure in giving such a good review to a restaurant outside of Albany. But good pizza is good pizza. It is what it is.This establishment understands the art of the sauce ratio. So many times you have a pizza and they barely put any sauce. It is the blend of the sweetness of sauce and sharpness of the cheese that makes the pizza.I will have to give up another one of my subscriptions, because I have to work Cugino’s into my budget.I was told the owner also ran PJs pizza, which was in Albany. it is a very short drive over the bridge from where we live so this is my spot moving forward.“

“Quiet little dinner with a lovely atmosphere, polite staff, and delicous food. My pancakes were fluffy and delicous, bacon was fresh and chewy with some crunch. My partners eggs and home fries were fresh and tasty, we both enjoyed the meal and atmosphere. A real rare dinner, not many hole in the wall dinners left around the area that have this level of service, and quality. Highly recommend.“

“Located inside Colonie Mall, the smell was so good hubby and I had to try them. The cheeseburgers were very good and fries were just right. Loved the selection machine for the drinks. The employees were friendly.Vegetarian options: Other than the fries, all I saw vegan/vegetarian was a veggie sandwich. No idea if the bread would have been vegan. I do not know if they offer milk substitute s for the milkshakes.“

“If I could give them 6 stars, I would. One of the best burgers in the area, it's not greasy, and the ingredients are always fresh. The 21 sauce is so good, I can't get enough. It's also very affordable compared to competitors in the area, which makes it even better. If you haven't been, I encourage everyone to give it a try.“

“After only eating Chick-Fil-A in D.C. and Virginia, I was overjoyed to find out Chick-Fil-A would be right in my hometown. Although when it opened, it was always crowded, and pretty much impossible to get "fast" food for the first 1-2 months, it has calmed down, and is pretty fast in terms of service. I went around 6pm, and there was a pretty large dinner rush line. However, the staff remained very calm and mature and dealt with the crowd smoothly and quickly. I got a Chick-Fil-A deluxe with buffalo sauce, and it was absolutely scrumptious! If you're ever craving chicken in the Troy-Rensselaer area, come on down and check out Chick-Fil-A! It's been worth the wait!Parking: Decent amount of spots to park, as the restaurant shares a parking lot with the adjacent Aldi.Kid-friendliness: Kids meals, cow mascot, games. Overall average kid-friendliness compared to other fast food restaurants.“

“Nice local ice cream spot. Their soft serve is super smooth and creamy. Good portions for the cost. Got a chance to chat with one of the owners when we stopped by. She was super friendly and very knowledgeable about all the details of what makes great soft serve and very knowledgeable about allergen info. They make all of their own ice cream with raw ingredients and it's obvious they have a passion for what they do. We will definitely continue visiting Mac's“

“Applebees has improved in the last 20 years. They have refocused and reworked their business plan. They are family friendly and the food is top notch. This location was slammed during my visit and the wait staff tried their best but needed more staff to earn 5 stars for service. However, this is a good place for a family meal or a date night. The decor is clean and well maintained. Stop in soon. You'll enjoy everything including their prices.“

“Johnnie's is a diamond in the rough, seriously the food is "Great", because their chef cooks with love. The service is welcoming, the atmosphere is pleasant with 90s r&b playing through the sound system. And the drinks are great with a reasonable price.“

“Coffee was excellent! French toast was good, but I prefer Texas toast. I can’t hold that against them tho as that is a personal preference thing and varies person to person. The only knock I had against this place is the home fries. They’re like mashed potatoes, that are then grilled on a flat top grill. WEIRD and bland. Very under seasoned“

“There is hardly a food truck I don't like. Why? I love the history behind them. The craziness of the new rage, from an oldie but goodie, and the committment from the owner to make his/her greateness available at reasonable price and in cool digs. Now, I wouldn't call the New York State Capital lawn cool digs, but seeing as it just a few blocks away and plenty of green grass, park benches, picnic tables, and other seating, how can one resist coming out here for a stroll and a great bite to eat? Not to mention, it is the only place in Albany where you can find 4-5 food trucks to choose from, which makes me feel sad, as that number is low compared to other progressive cities like, San Diego, San Francisco, Austin, Dallas, New York. It also upsets some people that the capitol gets special treatment for placement of food trucks, but let's save that for another day. Michele's looked good. I was simply craving a burger and fries. However, I've learned from my food trucking, that fries can be somewhat of a challenge. Either soggy, dried, or just not right. I hate suffering through that, so instead, I ordered the tots they have. Being a chemist by nature, I don't know what it is with tots, but you can hardly mess them up. They always come out crispy on outside and nice and hot inside. Michele's did not disappoint. I ordered my 0.3lb burger with cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion. The film broke loose and this movie came to a screeching halt when I heard, "We are out of onions." "Ahhhhgg," I thought, as in my opinion a burger just isn't a burger without onions. Before I could complete my sigh of disbelief, the server said, "We can put some fried onions on it, if you want. Will take a little longer." I was ecstatic. Not because I got my onions, albeit in a different form, but the food truck guy did not have to offer this, but he did. Why? I don't know, ask him, but I can guess it is because they have that food truck service mentality of "Let's take care of our special customers." It did take a little longer but was worth it. The cook handed me a freshly cooked cheeseburger with fried onions and tater tots. He even warned me that the tots were piping hot just out of the fryer. Really nice touch. I will definitely be back and try their other menu items which look really good including the clam, even though I am not a big clam fan.“
