The oysters were very fresh & briney the way that I like them & me & my friend were seated fairly quickly. The espresso martinis were soooo good, definitely recommend that if you’re into those. “One of the best gluten free places around! Yet, gluten full is also available and you have to tell the waiter if you are gluten free to be safest. They have an excellent quinoa bowl with chicken and very tasty chicken burger. Their fries are the best. It's a great place to try if you are gluten free or not. Can't wait to go back.“

“Brought home a takeout order of Chicken Parmesan w / Thin spaghettiinitial reaction was a lil pricey but once I got home and dug into it all was good. The salad it came w was fresh and delicious.The Chicken Parmesan was fantastic some of the best I ever had , and the angel hair pasta was top notch I'm so glad I finally stopped in on my way home and wanted something substantial.Michelangelo's did not disappoint.“

“Went with family who raved about this place. It was old school with great service, the owner made me a Moscow mule after I stumped the server! Everyone else ordered prime rib and enjoyed it, my fried chicken was lukewarm and not crispy. Shared a butter cake dessert which was pretty good. The inside is definitely giving a retro vibe and love the sign out front.“

“We feel so spoiled to have an Italian restaurant of this quality in our town. We just enjoyed a Mother's Day dinner here and every single dish was absolutely delicious. Very large portions so we all went home with leftovers. My husband is always in the search of the best lasagna, and he has decided this is it! “ughhh can you say "buyer's remorse?" I know I am picky but I remember this place being decent years ago. I regret not complaining. Literally EVERYTHING was bland and gross. It was like hospital food. Shrimp tacos with miniscule shrimp on heaps of slaw. O.k..how about you season the slaw? it was like literally out of the bag. The shrimp had to have the tail because if they took it off it would be the size of your thumbnail. The chowder fries?? there was not a clam or even a minced clam to be found. It was what I imagine prison gravy to be thown on crappy shoe string fries. The mozz sticks were oddly battered and simply mozz sticks. The coconut fried fish was like coconut infused but in a batter like beer batter. The ice water was good. The waitress was MIA except for when she came n oddly brought mustard and sourcream which went with nothing. Maybe she knew it sucked too. This place is the only place by the beach why not PRETEND to care about your job?? It was not only us either. The people behind us were shaking their head and left all their food after a bite or two. Literally so annoyed we paid. A taquito from 7-11 would be sinful bliss compared to here.. The only saving grace was we actually went to the car and got the sriracha sauce I bought to drown out the hospital food“

“Actually enjoyed my food never had east garden .the food seemed really good .got vegetable egg Foo young an it was not old grease . It wasn't greasy either it was just right. An we also had boneless pork ribs an pork fried rice .fast service an stuff was good I do hope when we order again it will be just as good ?“

“I was brought here because it was one of the better ethnic restaurants in Shirley. I wasn’t too sure what to expect. I ordered the right dish! I was pleasantly surprised at the tasty but simple skewer meal. It was a good portion that I could not even finish. We had left overs for the next day. Great price! Good service (they try really hard to speak English), large selection of beverages and tasty food. It’s a pretty basic restaurant but worth supporting.“

“We usually have a great meal there. This time was good, not great. We love their soups but the potatoe leek was far too salty. Surely someone in the kitchen would have tasted it. Also, the filet wasn't seasoned with anything so it was just good, not great. It had no real taste. Our friend who joined us had the rice pudding and it was very bland. A little cinnamon wouldn't hurt and maybe some golden raisens? We go there often so we'll chalk this up as an anomoly .“

“What a cute little spot on the Marina in Riverhead behind Hyatt Place and the LI Aquarium. We had the Coconut Mojito and Patron Margarita and its served nice and big in a cup, worth the drink price unlike other places. Burger and Lobster roll too. Come hang by the boats and have a nice laid back fun day. Tell 'em Barsnobs sent ya!“
