“I picked up 3 large pies, 2 sodas and 2 orders of garlic knots yesterday for an event and was blown away by both the service and the quality! Seriously, it's no wonder they have such a great rating. The spinach was some of the best spinach pizza I've had (and I've had a lot!) and the garlic knots were an interesting and appreciated take on the usual shape. They were more mini garlic knots, but tasted super garlicy and delicious! Next time, I'll be dining in for sure!“

I Always order an extra meal + soups for the next day. Like All Restaurants when you order Take Out, you MUST Confirm what you ordered is Repeated + In your bags. SAME thing for *ANY* Restaurant> If you do Not Confirm on the phone you are understood you may not get what you ordered. The words Caesar Salad may sound like Seafood Salad. This is human nature. So Confirm on the Phone, & when picking up or receiving take outs check the bags for what you requested. Villa Maria has my favorites: Whole Wheat pasta & pizza, and they make the best tasting Italian food I have ever had !. “Pizza was good for Long Island. It's really hard to find good pizza in Long Island. Dario's pizza can be compared to L'Industrie in Williamsburg Brooklyn. I went with one slice of pepperoni and a regular slice. They were both good! So if you're ever out on the island, try Dario's.“

Bar service is good Adrian the bartender makes the best Martinis.. Tried the wild berry cosmo and I'm addicted. Also tried the coconut Martini which was also quite good. Pours are generous. “Roman style pizza sounded interesting, so we stopped in and tried some. Very glad we did because it was amazing.We ended up with 4 slices. 2 Roman style, 2 traditional. The Roman style were sausage with broccoli rabe and spinach with artichoke. The traditional were a burrata and vodka pepperoni basil and pesto slice. I can't tell you which was the best because they were all amazing. It was nice to get some slices with fresh greens on them that actually tasted good.I wish I had taken a picture of all the pizza because the variety of slices they had was crazy. “Solid pizza and ingredients. We ordered a Grandma pie and a few slices of white and eggplant+ricotta. The marinara and cheese on the grandma were good. The grandma is also 12 slices which is a nice bump in size compared to other shops which make 9 slices pies. My only knock on their pizza is the crust. It tastes like a low protein/gluten content flour, almost like all purpose or maybe a little cake flour mixed in. So it's not as chewy as I think pizza crust should be. That said, it's still got a solid crispy layer.“

We had the special Beet Salad loaded with green apples, arugula, walnuts and goat cheese and it was very good. My old favorite is always the Stuffed Artichoke and it was delicious.
