Tasty and nice portions. We had the lunch specials and I liked the eggplant with chicken and hot and sour soup the best. Also the fish tanks are fun!

My go to spot for Chinese. Always fresh and tasty. General TSO's, shrimp lo mein and boneless ribs are great.

Best takeout around. Food much better than any Chinese restaurant in New Rochelle. Wish I found this year's ago.

This place is completely unprofessional and racist! The only reason anyone ever uses this place is because they deliver.

Food is great but I called in for pick up and he just hung up on me after he took my order, no thank you, no wait time. Nothing! I guess when your a person of color that’s to be expected. Some training in customer service would suffice.

My go to for great Chinese food. A bit pricey but one order is enough for two people!

Our family moved to Eastchester, NY the last week of October 2019, and found the owners of East Bamboo very friendly. Who doesn't love Chinese restaurant? The food was good, and the prices were decent. Recently, last week of October 2022, I was informed that East Bamboo was sold, and they have new owners. The first time I ordered in person, a young woman was overwhelmed with walk-in customers and the phones. I ordered sat down and waited and watched one man become very rude. The owner came and did his best assisting this woman. Sure, I got my food and the complaint at home was the rice was missing. I normally don't go out as often because of these high costs, in prices. I recently ordered the lunch specials and noticed the serving container is smaller, prices went up a notch. I ordered beef and broccoli and had received more rice and less beef and broccoli, which is a disappointment. Even the fish aren't happy many have died and have been replaced with smaller ones.

East Bamboo's food is fresh but the general tso, brown sauce, and walnut shrimp sauces were all a little watered down. I would recommend Jade Spoon for these flavors instead because their slightly higher costs are well worth the spot-on taste and consistency every time.

Everything I've tried has been delicious. They're one of the few places in Westchester that still makes a great egg roll. They're full and crispy. I also like the fact that you have the ability to "modify" your order to your liking, and they always accommodate. I order from them weekly. Great food, great owners.

I gave this small Chinese takeout restaurant five stars because the dining area was pretty large and very clean for a take out establishment. I had the wonton soup, an eggroll, and I ordered also a combination dish, roast pork lo mein which came with pork fried rice and an eggroll. I asked if I could exchange the rice for brown rice and they said no problem. She asked me if I wanted to cancel my other eggroll order and I said no because I like eggrolls. They also told me the order will be ready in 10 minutes. I got there in about eight minutes and my order was ready. The eggroll was crispy and delicious. The wonton soup was also delicious. The roast pork lo mein was loaded with slices of pork and Extremely delicious also. I had to make the E capitalized several times because my phone kept it the correct thing of the spelling. Extremely delicious is extremely delicious. You know what I mean I'm not going to change the E again. i'll be back.SME New Rochelle
