“We usually have a great meal there. This time was good, not great. We love their soups but the potatoe leek was far too salty. Surely someone in the kitchen would have tasted it. Also, the filet wasn't seasoned with anything so it was just good, not great. It had no real taste. Our friend who joined us had the rice pudding and it was very bland. A little cinnamon wouldn't hurt and maybe some golden raisens? We go there often so we'll chalk this up as an anomoly .“

“My husband and I have dined at the Cooperage Inn for many, many years. It literally is our favorite, and most definitely our go -to restaurant when friends from Queens and Nassau visit, as it never disappoints!! The food is absolutely delicious and always fresh; I had the lamb, which is the best and most tender I’ve ever had - the short rib pot pie awesome ? The staff makes you feel like family every visit. A shout out to Scott, who is always accommodating; a real sweetheart, and attentive to all his guests. Bella, our most recent waitress, was delightful and made the evening so enjoyable with her superior service and comedic charm. A perfect evening!“

“Barrow is a Williamsburg want to be. The pseudo health food is anything but. Their chicken wrap was below standard, no taste, all mayonnaise. The service inexistant if you call handing two napkins and forks to a customer as service. Water is self-service from piled up plastic cups and carafes .It was a very disappointing experience.“

“One of the best gluten free places around! Yet, gluten full is also available and you have to tell the waiter if you are gluten free to be safest. They have an excellent quinoa bowl with chicken and very tasty chicken burger. Their fries are the best. It's a great place to try if you are gluten free or not. Can't wait to go back.“

Adults burger with fries was $19. and Seltzer was $4. not saying food was bad but the prices crazy especially for a kids meal and almost forgot the burger's seemed lost inside the buns almost like there was no burger.“

“Came here the first time I visited Rivehead and now I make sure I leave time to visit each time I come back! I l always order sandwiches because they have not yet disappointed! I've brought my whole family as well as friends here and every single person has LOVED it. The place is family owned and it looks probably a lot like it did when it first opened. So cute and old fashioned. Also, I love their egg creams and their chocolate shakes! Definitely worth ordering. Everything is reasonably priced and just perfectly made. It's just nice to have some simple foods perfectly made! Highly recommend to anyone in town for the day. (Hours are unpredictable so just give them a call before heading over, but honestly it's part of the charm, it's a family place!)“

“I visited Diggers many times through the years. I always enjoyed the food and ale. What I don't like is the parking in the back. Seems the foreign folk circle around and park their cars when customers leave. It happen to me this visit. Parking was full but Diggers was empty... You decide.“

Everyone else ordered prime rib and enjoyed it, my fried chicken was lukewarm and not crispy. Shared a butter cake dessert which was pretty good. “We recently ate at the new Italian restaurant named Pulcinella at the rock golf club. We went for our 35th wedding anniversary and we are so glad we did. The decor, the service, and especially the meal were all superb. The portions were large and the prices were high average but well worth it. If you are looking for a great meal in a beautiful setting this is the restaurant you want to try. Reservations suggested.“

“5 star food 3 star service It's nothing to impress by looks, but the food is superb. Just outstanding! The seating is very tight if you dine in the upper dining area. We will definitely be back, but I would request the lower area. It's spaced much better. The evening we went, it was packed house and our server could not keep up. She was nice, but it was difficult to get her when we needed something. Our appetizer plates weren't cleared before our meals came and we were 4 people at a small table. My chair of if I moved at all, backed up into party next to us. But again..the food is unbelievable! That will bring me back for sure.“

Right away we knew it was the right location. It was a warm, inviting place with seating at tables or the bar. If the weather was not rainy we would have been able to enjoy outdoor seating with views of the golf course and Peconic River. Tim, the bartender introduced himself and asked us our names. He presented us with the regular and specials menu. The menu is very extensive and I was surprised to see how many specials there were. The sliced steak & smoked Gouda melt was a very big sandwich and delicious. I just wish I had taken a picture that reflected how thick it was. Tim was very attentive and friendly with all the clients. It's definitely a place worth returning to.“
