“Peter’s on the Green is a little hidden gem at the Bellport Country Club. My review is based on my wine which tasted a bit sour but this is coming from someone that is hard to please LOL. My sibling and I visited at the end of November 2023 for an afternoon lunch on a Saturday. Our meals came with a salad, mine was Greek and it was delicious. My brother got a chicken dino and I ordered an Uncle Peter (chicken, cheese, pasta…) and we shared a yummy dessert. We both took leftovers home and enjoyed them at a later time. I think the menu selection is great, location is gorgeous and the bathrooms could use an update. Overall, it’s a solid option for a nice lunch.“

“I arrived just after they closed, but they offered to make me a sandwich anyway, I picked the tuna lettus and tomato, asked me if I wanted macaroni or coleslaw since I was driving and honestly am not a fan of either, they let me get a bag of cheetos. the made the sandwich and the Tuna sandwich was amazing! now stop for just a minute and think back the entirety of your life, have you ever heard the phrase the tuna sandwich was amazing? probably not, but this one was great. maybe because it was amazing or maybe i was really hungry, but I think it was both. it was a really good sandwich. the people were nice, and the place had an enjoyable atmosphere, I'll be back for a $100 burger. they aren't $100 it's a pilot's expression. but I will be back.“
“Went here for the first time. I was immediately impressed by the fact that when I ordered a lamb gyro they cooked/heated up the meat along with the gyro flatbread on the grill. This way my sandwich was piping hot and tasted fresher than places that usally keep a hot tray for the meats and dish it out. Service was also friendly. I will be back!“
“My sister wanted to try JC’s restaurant after getting recommended by it by a coworker at first we were skeptical because of the area it was in but it turned out really good. It definitely exceeded my expectations. I got the steamed clams with garlic butter, jalapeños, celery and onion with some bread (you could add spaghetti to it) it was honestly the best steamed clams I ever had I would definitely get it again. My sister got a burger medium with a side of Mac and cheese the burger was really good, not too greasy really tasty cooked medium. We got dessert too, we got banana cheese cake and churros. The banana cake was okay it tasted like cheese cake more than it did banana. The churros was so good it was crispy but not crunchy and hard it was just the perfect amount of cinnamon not over powering just right with a scoop of ice cream and whipped cream it made the dessert prefect and is the best churros I’ve ever had coming from a person who always get churros as dessert wherever I go. Price wise it’s fair the match the food. And is definitely worth it. Custom service was really nice and attentive. All in all I would 100% recommend this place!“
“My first time there, of course I didn’t know what to expect. The woman behind the counter let me know she’d be right with me since I had been waiting in line while she was busy preparing other’s food. I appreciated that. It’s obviously a family-run business and that’s very admirable. It was so cute seeing the little toddler daughter behind the counter interacting with her mother. Anyway the food was very tasty and the woman did not skimp on anything, not even the oxtails. The prices are on the high side, but the portion sizes are respectable considering that. I will go back and I recommend this restaurant to anyone who happens to be in the Medford NY area of Long Island“
“We spent valentines at one of our favorite local places yesterday, it was really busy our reservation was at 7 the height of dinner rush. We enjoyed every aspect of JC’s from the hostess to the servers to the much needed delicious dinner and ambiance! We started with chicken nachos and garlic bread, main course we had Norwegian lamb chops on a mountain of potatoes yum! I ordered the panko chicken with baby rigatonis peas buratta in a sherry sauce and what a trip to flavor town! The food here never disappoints even when we order takeout it’s always delicious. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner what a lovely hard working lady! All that she does to provide the best experience shines bright through her staff and patrons. We tested out little cheese cakes that were outrageous I don’t even like cheesecake and I ate them at first not knowing what they were. they were creamy and yummy and delicious I didn’t know I could like something so much that I didn’t like anywhere else. The strawberry was Huge and I ate every last bit we were stuffed I had to take home almost half of my dinner which we ate today! “Jimmy's is the best possible version of a solid, regular, old fashioned diner. The staff here is so incredibly nice, accommodating, and competent. We had a large group come in for brunch for my aunt's birthday. Despite the size, Jimmy's said it'd be no problem as long as we didn't mind waiting a little for a few tables to clear out. They managed to take all of our orders and get us food shockingly quickly.The food itself was all well prepared and delicious. “Went to The Tiki Bar for my cousins birthday on Saturday. Had an amazing time. Drinks were great, hospitality was spot on. My most recent was a repast after a funeral. When everyone is emotional, the last thing the family needs is problems with the food service. Well, in our case, more people showed up than were originally expected. The staff at Trio didn't miss a beat. They set up additional tables in a flash and quickly had the tables set.
