“I decided to see what was in store as I go by it every time I go to the Wegmans across the street, and I ordered the Sushi&Sashimi lunch with a soup and Haru Maki on the side. Not only was it good portion, food, and price, but I have a better place to get my Sushi. Would go again.“

“TLDR: Delicious Cambodian food at reasonable prices with good service in a lovely location.Review: my wife and I love going to the movies at the nearby theater, but we always struggled to find a good non-chain "ethnic" restaurant to eat at nearby. I'm so very glad we found this place last night. The location is lovely, right in the middle of Victor's cute little downtown. Inside is clean and welcoming. The hostess/server/owner Clarissa brings you right into the intimate venue with tasteful but simple decorations. It smells like heaven and you can hear kids playing in the back room, a sure sign that the Asian food is going to be delicious.According to the restauranteur, they have been slowly moving from a pan-asian menu to a Cambodian menu for the three years they've been open and switched menus completely in December. Gone is the pad thai and in are the cherished family recipes of the cook and co-owner passed on for generations. We got the papaya salad and chicken wings with fish sauce to start and they were insanely tasty. We got a spice level of 4 on the salad and it was just right. Enough to make these seasoned spice eaters' noses run a bit without being over bearing. The chicken wings were perfectly crispy yet juicy inside and I'd put them up against even the tastiest of Korean fried chicken. For the main dishes, my wife got the equivalent of Cambodian pho (Cambodian food is similar to Vietnamese) that came with anis infused beef broth I could happily drown in, and copious panoply of meat chunks. The bowl was huge and not even the two of us could finish it off. I got the beef lemon grass stir fry which was excellently seasoned and the beef was cooked divinely. My wife ended up stealing a third of my meal because it tasted so good. The only downside was that the food was a little slow to come out, so factor that in if time is an issue, but we found the food to be well worth the wait. We will definitely be back and I can't wait to further explore the menu of this gem of a family owned restaurant.“
“Can’t believe I’ve been living in Webster for three years now and I’ve only just been to here. I got takeout and did a little shopping which was a nice timeburner while I waited for my food. Food is amazing: I got the gyu-don rice bowl and I added some kimchi that I bought separately. So so good!!“

“Loved this restaurant! The food was incredible, the service great, so cool to be able to watch the chefs at the chef's counter. The music selection was amazing as well. I loved the entire vibe! Immediately told my friends we had to go.“

“We got take away. I was good, sadly most of the rolls seem to have a lot of cream cheese as a base. Not my favorite type of sushi. We did find a few really good rolls without it.Avoid the spring rolls. They tasted...... not fresh. We ordered 7 rolls. All really good.“

“This place has the best sushi. Its true you’re going to have to wait. And often wait a long time but it’s worth it. They are a two person show and it’s not rushed. So place an order get a large hot sake or two and wait for the sushi!I have added some photos over the year here below!“

“Went here at 530 the other day and had a very good dinner. I would go back again which says something as we are picky about our hibachi. The server was pleasant and quick about getting our drinks and order. The mushroom onion soup was probably one of the best ones we've had at this style restaurant with the French's onions actually still crispy. The ginger dressing in the salad was a little sweeter than I've had before but still as good as this salad is anywhere. We also got the Mexican roll and I can't remember the other, but both were super amazing and delicious - even 2 days later. We all got a variety of the hibachi dinners which everyone enjoyed. I had the sogo which is steak, shrimp, and chicken. Everything was cooked correctly and tasted great. The chef was funny and did well but not super interactive - like not a lot of conversation. Did all the typical tricks and show stuff. My one complaint is that the veggies are not cut smaller. The zucchini, green peppers, and broccoli were all big chunks or florets which meant they didn't get as cooked as say the onions and snow peas. Also the yum yum sauce was a little runnier than expected and didn't seem to stick to everything like I'm used to. Overall, very good and will recommend/ return to.“

“AMAZING. hands down Chakara is now my absolute favorite sushi place around. The food quality is always fresh and presentation is fantastic. I can't rave about this place enough! The yellowtail jalapeño and avocado ball are now my new favorites! My boyfriend says try the honey sandwich, but we also love the wonton soup! The restaurant is nice and clean and put together, the servers are on point and work as a team, service is speedy and friendly! We went a while ago and Andy the owner was so nice and welcoming, he's a great host! Gotta give him props for the tight ship he runs! Then we went again for Valentine's Day! Highly highly recommend! Maybe we will see ya there!!“
