“During my late teenage years my baby sister worked here afterschool so you know this was totally nostalgic for me to be passing by the area early on an Easter morning ride back from NJ. As I got closer I called because it was a holiday and absolutely delighted to be helped on such a beautiful day in the neighborhood. **They are cash only** Several cars were doubled parked towards the end of the block picking up flowers so I parked a few doors down and stepped inside. They had a beautiful tray of assorted pastries which I failed to take a photo of and I just HAD to have it. It had cannoli, cheese cake, cream puffs the works! I was looking for a birthday cake for my Puerto Rican granny and chose an Oreo cake over a strawberry shortcake and surprisingly I did not get clobbered over the head by my mother lol. She looked unpleased when I removed it from the box but when she ate it. I was like bang boom TOUCHDOWN! She said it was soft and moist and fluffy and light. The chocolate had the perfect amount of sweetness I must agree. Plus I already won when I brought home some Easter bread for the family to share. The only comment I got there was why didn't I buy a bigger loaf. I bought a cute little slipper shaped one with one egg and they had many options which was great. I see folks were coming in and out for cappuccinos and if I wasn't already wire from an early morning drive I would have Indulged. The cake was $25, the tray $20 and the Easter bread was about $10 if I can recall. I had 3 baby shower cakes from here 17 years ago and that's how good they were then. Super happy to see them still thriving and pumping out the good stuff. Only thing I will say is what's with the writing? I was hoping for classic script and the weekend crew gave me a very scribble "Gramma" in red. My family was like why did they spell it like that. Me- I was shocked like who buys a cake and doesn't look at it after they put in the writing was I in Lala land or what. Next time I'll check.“
“This is my new go to spot for food in the Far Rockaway region of NYC. Great spot for Dominican Food!! The open early at 5am!! Excellent food portions!! All the items here are delicious!! People are nice. If I have to eat here everyday I will do it. Among the top restaurants in the surrounding area. Good for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. I would eat here first before eating anywhere else.“
“If I could give 10 stars I would ! Amazing staff ! The Level of customer service I received and the fact that I was able to customize the cake with a few changes is unbelievable . Everyone has a dunkin donuts near then or baskin Robbins but no place has ever left such an impression that I want to keep coming back and recommend my family and friends . It's a chain so they usually all carry the same things but to me when you can make someone remember an experience they will always come back and want to spend money with you . place is hands down the best baskin Robbins I have ever been to . Yesterday At the last moment I had to order a cake . It had to be an ice cream cake so everyone decided that BR would be the best choice . I called 5 locations and they all told me it needed to be 48 in advance and no modifications just the exact standard choices of cakes . I called this location and to my surprise they told me I could order it and have it by tomorrow . So I arrived to the store around 7pm spoke with maddie and she told me they could modify the cake with some extra changes that I had wanted for deigns . She went above and beyond to help me and to give it a nice personal touch . If you ever need a ice cream cake go to this location !!!! Ask for maddie“
“A few years ago, I didn't like thisdunking. I think it's because they had people hanging around inside all day. I recently started getting deliveries and the food taste good and is always warm. The packaging the food comes in is 100 percent secure, very fantastic. I just went inside to order food and the wait was about 10-15 mins in the morning but was worth it because the food was good.“
“They are pretty efficient considering how busy it usually is in there. I've read some of the other reviews, and they must have improved their staff because I haven't had a problem. The one thing I'll say is, don't go in there after school because a lot of kids hang out in there. They are the biggest problem now. They are loud and rude. I actually saw a guy hitting his girlfriend (she was hitting him as well, to be fair).“
“Parking: This Cafe is located in a residential area, so the parking is tough. There's only street parking available. This is more of a neighborhood place that people walk to, there's benches outside as well to sit and enjoy your purchases.“
“I’m not a coffee drinker. So I got an Ube Latte, made from purple yam. Tastes great. Felt very soothing to my soul. I love the teddy bear financier and the banana cake. Too bad they ran out of the donuts. Well, there’s always next time.“
“I went over the weekend to this restaurant following my sister's suggestion. I want to said that she was 100% correct when she claimed that the chicken was the best she had ever had. After trying I can also attest to it, the chicken coupled with crisp veggies and flavorful rice was a good choice. We also tried the sangria and it was pretty good as well.I am planning to come back soon as there are other dishes that I would like to try.At last, the staff was super friendly and willing to please....Kudos to this new neighborhood restaurant!“
“Incredibly homey service and atmosphere!! Everything was delicious and very fresh. The dips and platters were absolutely unforgettable, vibrant flavors and amazing balance in taste — not a single complaint first time going! (those lemon potatoes are nothing less than mind blowing) Everything tasted completely authentic and don’t skip on the Greek hot coffee, made over sand and very rich tasting. The deserts also were an extremely satisfying end to a meal, being very rich and delectable. Service was wonderful, giving all customers a friendly and comforting welcome, making everything feel natural and inviting.“
“Ralph's is a staple of the community! Breakfast lunch and dinner every meal is delicious and the portions make sense for the price. If you want a home-cooked meal that you didn't have to make like a REAL home-cooked holiday grade meal take your butt to Ralph's “
