“I can’t believe I’ve never reviewed this place. We’ve been coming here for years and recommend it to friends. Today (8/11/23), however, I came in for the bottle of wine and cheese deal and then cheese plate was shrunken to a tiny platter that made it impossible to cut on it. Also, three olives to two people???? Screw whomever made that decision. Still, we will be back.”

“This place is a gem if it was anywhere. Especially that it’s so close to the beach. Uzbeki food, or Bukarian the kebabs, the soups the manti. Are all incredible, it reminds me of the spots I go to in Forrest Hills or Rego Park.”

“this is easily the best jerk chicken plate in rockaway, and it’s not even close. i ordered 5 jerk chicken dinners plus some sides, and the very helpful young man working hooked me up with great service, which is RARE in far rockaway. my whole order was ready in a couple of minutes, and mind you, he was getting fresh chicken right off the grill and chopping it up. the macaroni and cheese was perfect, not too cheesy and nicely seasoned, the rice and peas were cooked on point. honestly, just go get the food, you won’t regret it. hell, i’m about to go get lunch from there ? very good food that’s worth your money is gonna do it every single time!”

The store is wheelchair accessible and they sell bags of ice. The coffee is strong and black very good you can't go wrong with the coffee. My opinion and the things that I've seen.
