Best hibachi around lately, just be aware they have a lot of birthday parties so the lights will occasionally go dim and they'll start playing birthday music and all that. If you can get past that the food is great, a decent value among hibachi restaurants, and very generous proportions, especially with the fried rice.

Love this place. The sushi is excellent. I would actually recommend the sushi entree over the sushi omakase. I enjoy the pieces more, and it's much cheaper. All the other food is top notch as well. The bento box is so good here.

Omakase in a hibachi restaurant?? YES!! A friend recommended this place and I have to admit I was a little nervous because I would not expect high quality sushi in a hibachi place. When I think of hibachi, I think of Benihana, which I feel is not really authentic Japanese but Americanized food. Kind of like Panda Express for Chinese food. But I trust this friend so we went with them. My wife and my wedding anniversary was coming up so we told them and they prepared a special setting with rose petals and also a special dessert. So nice!! Omakase means to leave it up to the chef on what to eat and the chef's selections were amazing! Lobster, sweet shrimp, Uni, A5 wagyu, fatty tuna and other delicious selections. We also had a sake they recommended, which went so well with the food. The complimentary dessert was probably my favorite. All in all, a great meal. We just had omakase at Inatome recently and if i had to pick the best, I would probably say Inatome but it is very close. Sasa is much easier to get to so if you don't want to drive to Valley Stream, go to Sasa. TIP: make sure you make reservations in advance because they have to procure the seafood for the omakase.

Service was good and food was good. They did bring take away containers while one in our party was still eating. Only downside was that We were there one hour. I felt rushed at the end. It was busy and I thought they moved like that to let more people in.

Overall, a good experience. The service was good, food prep was fun, food was tasty. One turnoff is they included gratuities in the check, but also added a line for "tip" which was confusing (so read the check when they give it to you). Normally, I would have tipped 20% but when a place automatically adds it, I just leave it at that amount. So, it was 5% less than they would have gotten, had they trusted me to be a decent human. That said, I would go back. The food was good.

Very good sushi and hibachi restaurant. We go here with family when visiting on Long Island. Prices are very reasonable and quality seems good for both sushi, hibachi and the apps (I've never had hibachi but no one at the table had been disappointed with their order). I can't say I've been disappointed with anything. The sashimi sushi platter is a very good value for nice cuts of chefs choice sashimi and sushi.

My friends and I decided tonight to have California rolls and the Hawaii Poke Bowl #2 delivered to the Hilton-Long Island Hotel. It was my first time trying this place and BOY, what a wonderful treat! My friends enjoyed their beautiful rolls and my poke bowl was made to perfection, filled with chicken, jumbo shrimp, kani salad, cucumber, avocado, mango, onion crisps, roasted seaweed, brown rice, and a spicy miso sauce. So delicious and fresh! I can't wait to try their hibachi grill on my next visit!
