I like the pancakes and my hubby gets spaghetti frequently. Portion sizes are very generous and leftovers make a great snack at home.“

“We live about 30min from Bon Ami and had never been, so we gave it a shot last night when we had other plans in Canandaigua. It did not disappoint. First, we showed up very early for our reservation due to our other appt ending sooner than expected. The hostess accommodated us with a smile. The wine list is well selected and provides a strong pairing for each choice on the menu. Service was perfect...not pushy or intrusive, but also available when we were ready. Timing was good between plates and drinks were replenished at the right cadence. I had the burger and my wife had mussels. Both were very good, although I wish I had chosen something else from the menu. It's not that the burger wasn't excellent—it was cooked to perfection. However, Bon Ami's offerings extend beyond your typical burger, presenting an opportunity to enjoy a higher caliber of food. We'll be back.“

“If you get there early enough on Saturday say around 5 then you get great service and unbelievable food. After 6 it can be tough as it looks like they have a skeleton crew. Still amazing food, but the service will take a little longer, understandingly. Only would take a half star off if I could because they don't serve alcohol. Either way this is the most amazing Cambodian/Asian fusion food I've had in a long time! There to go orders are always busy as well.“

“First time in and I’m blown away. You walk right in and you feel the local friendly love from the get go. Decor is unique and lovely. The food is utterly impressive. The pretzel and cheese was good as were the potato pancakes nice glass of house white wine. Waitress was fun and made good suggestions. “First try and we found the dinner very good and the service better. Though small on the inside we had reservations at 7 and it was clearing out so we had a super nice dinner a chance to actually talk with the owner and met all the staff. They were engaging and outgoing and discussed their business, the food, and their backgrounds. The owner offered tasting of the wine before I decided on one and we also had a super desert. We like to drive to canandaigua for dinners several times a year (off-season) and il posto bistro will be in our rotation. When we are at the lake it will be a "must dine".“

“Finally, some place that really does know how to make a veggie sub. When I first opened up the container I thought they accidentally gave me a Philly sandwich. Normally when I asked for a veggie sub someplace, I get like three pieces of lettuce one and a half slice of tomato and a sprinkling of onion. Usually nothing much but bread. Nobody knows how to make them. But you guys do... it was outstanding. Very nice service“

“I stopped by this place with family while we were walking on the canal. It's a very short detour from the Canal towpath, and has outdoor seating, which is great in the summer. Tons of options, and very fair pricing. I got a sandwich, my wife got a salad, and my son got the chicken fingers. Each item was delicious. We will definitely be back.“

It was a take on breakfast pizza, served with syrup and while I was a bit hesitant, it tasted amazing! The staff were all super friendly and helpful. There was a variety of appetizers including Wings, Fried Green Beans, Pretzel, and Mozz Sticks, which were all EXCELLENT; and a nice selection of yummy Beers to drink them down with. Jersey is tough competition for food and I actually considered ordering some Wings and Beans to take back for the road trip. At our table, our waitress seemed new but was friendly and the service was pleasant. The herbed whipped butter and bread were great. My gnocchi with a meatball was delicious, and my husband enjoyed his seafood fra diavolo. Very nice way to celebrate a birthday date night!“

Fridays and Saturday nights are usually the busiest and might have to wait but it is well worth the wait. “First time at this brew pub. It's right near the lake and adjacent to where the Canandaigua Lady tour boat sails from. Large selection of their own brews. Also, some featured cocktails. I had a flight and we both had the beef on weck, which was outstanding. This is actually one of 4 locations. Lots of outdoor seating (it was raining during our fall visit). Two floors of indoor seating. We were looking for something to do on a rainy day, and the 20 mile drive was worth it.“

“Quality of this Nima’s location is SO MUCH better than the Newark one.The pizza quality is just 10x better. They season and flavour the dough/crust and the cheese is actually fresh instead of rubbery chew from Newark’s.Service is also amazing here. The lovely lady is always so nice to me.“
