“This is a really fun karaoke bar! The staff are super nice, reasonable prices. Amazing song selection. The only thing that would make this place better is a decent pub menu, like wings, fries, burgers, ect. So if you are renting a room for a party, don't expect much in the way of food options. Still giving it 5 stars.“
“This place is a gem. I know it’s not in the best part of downtown Albany. But the staff are amazing. Three waitresses are all great. The have ZERO attitude and just want to make sure you enjoy your drink and or food. There is no better place in the heart of downtown Albany serving drinks, food and smiles . “It’s a nice vibe in there. Lots of different types of people and I like the layout of the place. My only thing is that it was really warm in the bathroom like uncomfortably so, but it wasn’t that big a deal, just something I remember noticing. Live music is fire ? I can’t speak on the food I didn’t get any but the mixed drinks were type strong . I would return. Bartenders were quick and friendly enough.“
“Well, they are two for two with our visits and review of 5 Stars! Our waitress, Samantha was our server again. As pleasant and on top of service as before. I went with the pastrami Reuben and my wife ordered the Philly Cheesesteak. The bread/toasted just crisp, the meat(s) were on the nicely rare side. The sides, steak fries and macaroni salad were excellent!! Real Heinz ketchup, a must with fries! Beverages were on tap. Only slight issue were the nacho and salsa appetizer, chips are just so so and salsa the same. Would not order again. Ambiance was great (big screen TV) and warm decor. Looking forward to another trip soon. Thanks again, love all the locals at the bar too!!“
“What a legendary experience. We were at Hill St Cafe and called to see if they had garbage plates and they did! We were with a friend from Australia that hadn't had a Garbage Plate before so they cooked one up with home fries, Mac salad and burgers that was absolutely delicious. An experience that will never be forgotten and we all appreciate it!!!“
“Ended up going there tonight with 2 co workers of mine and it was a great place. Very laid back atmosphere and not noisy at all where we could actually have a conversation and not have to yell to hear each other. I ended up getting a bowl of the chili, which was amazing. Had the perfect amount of meat and beans in it. And I also had an order of fried mushrooms that were also amazing. Alot of places when you order fried mushrooms the breading just falls right off and mushrooms are mushy, but these were nice and crispy and batter tasted great. The bartender Brittany did and amazing job as well. She was really quick and was always there to make sure are drinks for good and also had great conversations with her. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice bar with great food.“

“Great place. Very big selection of beer and on different sizes of pours. I have had the burgers in the past and they were all delicious. I recently had the pulled pork tacos. Oh, so good.Definitely a place to stop if you like beer and a good atmosphere.“
“First, the good... The raspberry oatmeal pancakes might be the best stack of pancakes I have ever eaten. Incredible!Now, the not so good. Wait times on Sunday morning are over 40 minutes and because of the crowds the service is (was) subpar. Got my order wrong, no coffee refills, etc. So, plan ahead, prepare to wait and do not expect service that matches the food.“
“Voted best dive bar in Albany. They are proud of that title and their Irish heritage! Light atmosphere. Everyone seems happy. No drama. We had some cold beers and a basket of cooked to perfection fried foods which included mozz sticks, onion rings, fries, and chicken tenders. Enough to share with many. Great jukebox too. “Great little spot in Delmar. Stopped in for a bite on our way home, and got the roasted red pepper, spinach and artichoke bisque and Irish onion soup, Bavarian pretzels and waffle fries. Super busy place, but there was a seat for us right away. Excellent soup and appetizers. Will definitely go back for dinner.“

“I ordered take out from Door Dash. I had The Club sandwich with fries. The sandwich was delicious and flavorful. The fries were warm and almost soggy, but they were still edible and had great flavor. I am sure they would have tasted great if I had them fresh. “Irish tavern that I was a regular of during the pandemic as it was on a common route. Food prices are amazing, plenty of specials. I once asked for a barbecue jalapeno chicken quesadilla and he made it the weekly special. Parking is in the back off Ontario Street take a right off new Scotland and another quick right.“

“Great beer array! Booze on tap. Wood bar is colossally large. Bar stools can be pulled up to the counter. Floor is full'o peanut shells. The decor is UK football and sports memorabilia. Its very loud: forget phone calls. Wolff's Biergarten attracts clientele and beer swillers due to its beer variants which are very varied - and the bright sports decor! The parking is around the block, lock your car!! Staff should stay behind the counter and NOT sit and drink at customers' tables. Review: 5“
“My husband and I have been coming here for 12 years. The staff is always pleasant, the food/drinks are both good and affordable. The turn over from entering the restaurant to getting your food is very quick, even when busy, but you never feel rushed. It’s impressive for a chain restaurant to maintain the level of consistency we have always found here.“

“There’s like 5 eat in nice restaurants in Delmar and 2 are Irish. Comparing them; it’s very close depending on what you like. We went for lunch and parking and seating was very easy to get. The ambiance is nicer than Swifty’s; cozily decorated for the holidays. The wait staff were friendly; especially considering my 2 rowdy kids. For the food: I really enjoyed my French onion soup! The calamari was also tasty, however I would’ve liked the banana peppers unfried. My youngest liked his chicken tenders and fries and it was A LOT for him. I did like the cottage pie but it felt mashed potato heavy. Like it was 75% mash. My oldest and husband got the fish and chips. My husband said the fish was amongst the best he’s had! But thought the cole slaw tasted yucky and the tartar sauce tasted like a bunch of mayo; bland. We will probably go back.Kid-friendliness: Provided sheets and crayons for my kids“
“This is one of the best resteraunts to experience a NY style Pizza. This is close enough to what you get in NYC, and New Jersey. Staff is fantastic, make excellent drinks, and their French onion soup is also amazing. Been there probably 4 times in my life and it's never been a disappointment.“
