“Wow, wow, wow! The entire experience was spectacular! We got to see a gorgeous sunset over the bay right from our table. Our drinks (Blue Cheese Martini and Spicy Mezcal Margarita) were fantastic..not too salty, not too sweet, just right! The service was impeccable. Our server, Regis, and the host, Ron, were super amicable, pleasant and accommodating. For apps, we ordered the Ceviche special, the margarita flatbread, and the Mussels Marine…all I can say is WOW!! Sooo good!! So good that we wanted to take the mussels broth and the ceviche marinade home with us. For entrees, we had the braised short ribs (delicious in a Cabernet reduction), the branzino (so fresh with a light, crispy top) and another round of the ceviche special. The key lime pie with the graham crumble was to die for (we were tempted to order a slice to take home!). Thank you, Top of the Bay and staff, for the loveliest, delicious, most delicious birthday dinner!! ?“

“Stopped into RockCityDogs last night for a quick bite. The place is set up really cool offers a full sit down bar and a real nice dining area. We were nicely greeted at the door and told our host it’s our first time. She went over the menu and offered the most popular items on the menu. Our waiter came over to our table and we placed our drink orders. Drinks were definitely perfect and worth the price. We placed our orders We went with the Mac n Cheese fried pickles. I had the Springsteen my wife had the Santana and a side of stick fries n onion rings. The hot dogs were perfect each bite offered a good snap and the toppings definitely added a great combination of taste. The Mac n Cheese was almost a meal in itself. The fried pickles and the onion rings were absolutely the best I ever had. The owner Venus came over and asked us how was everything. We told her it was absolutely perfect. The music and the vibe of this place definitely fits into the positive changes going on in the down town Bayshore area. We will definitely be back and highly recommend RockCityDogs. It’s got that nice little bar scene with some really good food. It’s was a pleasure talking with Venus. On the FoodFriends Scale it’s definitely up for our first time. ?“

“From Christmas week, 12/26.I'm a bit behind with Burger reviewsThis burger was awesome.I have been here before, last September, but did not post a review here about itI ordered it my usual medium rare, and they cooked it exactly the way I liked it.The meat blend they used is spectacular....It really hit my tastebuds the right way.The bun was fresh, a bit soft, but held up well against the juicy burger..The price was right , $14.50 WITH bacon and cheese.The fries were crispy as I like them.My dining partner had the French Onion Soup, as it was one of the Specials. She said it was up there with one of the best she's had in a while.The service was great!!! Our waitress was quick, professional, upbeat, and funnyIt was busy, as they have a few popular specials on Tuesdays, one being a $22 porterhouse.. The table next to us both ordered it, and they said they loved it.Thanks MerissaThey have their own parking lot, but it fills up quick..There is also street parking. “We got there a little early for our reservation and they welcomed us to sit. This worked out to our advantage as it was before 6pm and we got to take advantage of the oyster happy hour special! We ordered a number of appetizers and our server,Gina was wonderful spacing them out perfectly allowing you to enjoy the food, atmosphere and our anniversary celebration! Can't wait to go back!“

“Heaven in my mouth! After having a free sample at Dark Storm months ago, I finally made it to the location. WOW!When it is prepared fresh right off the grill, I returned to the gates of Valhall. Only THIS time the gods were deep in party mode, and I was lured in by the upbeat music, and the promise of satisfaction!I must say the brussel sprouts are a MUST have , don't wait til it gets home! The crisp outer leaves made such an impact on me, I cant wait to drag every passerby in and force love into their faces.The burger itself was so lovely to meet again. “One of our meals the ParmeChicken Mileanase came out & the chicken was burned. I politely notified Mary Anne the floor manager of the issue. She immediately came to our table, checked the chicken & agreed it was not to her satisfaction either. She also apologized for this situation. She asked if we wanted a fresh meal which we agreed to. She went back to the kitchen & ordered a fresh plate. Our server Nicole was indisposed in the little servers room. After she was free, she came to our table & apologized. “A few months ago, I went here with my boyfriend for Valentines Day as we had made reservations. It was our first time going to this restaurant, easy back parking so we were able to walk over.The staff, were incredibly nice and friendly had a very welcoming and warm attitude, the setting was very romantic and very nicely set up although the seatings were a bit tight so there wasn’t much space but again it was Valentine’s Day so it was very busy.We ordered pretzel bites for an appetizer, it was very soft, and buttery! The beer cheese that came along with it was delicious as well! As for entree’s my boyfriend ordered the New Orleans Chicken Sandwich along with fries, which was really good and we both loved the sauce that came with it! I ordered Shrimp & Fresh Spinach Pasta which was okay, there was a little too much spinach and the shrimp wasn’t fresh tasting but the sauce was really good!Lastly, my boyfriend and I ordered a PB Oreo Brownie but unfortunately they didn’t have any more of it so we decided to go with the Lava Cake and share it. When the Lava Cake came we were a bit surprised by how small it was, so like each of us ate like two bites so in all fairness I wouldn’t necessarily recommend the desserts as they are very small portions but it was very good tasting otherwise I’d get this at like Applebees or something or somewhere elsewhere.Overall, I recommend this place for a nice and simple date with you and your partner since it has that atmosphere and the staff is super friendly, the food was great for the most part and I really enjoyed my time there so I will definitely be coming back!Parking: Parking is rather very easy, whether you park on the side of the street or access to the back parking lot that’s near the bank and Dunkin’ Donuts!“

“My wife and I had a late lunch here yesterday; Kay was our delightful server, and she was friendly and attentive.The gumbo was maybe the best I’ve ever had outside of New Orleans! Excellent roux! The wings in habanero sauce tasted fresh and not fried. My wife’s shrimp roll was excellent.We found our new happy place.The ONLY comment is that the space was a bit “dark” during the afternoon. Our eyes had to adjust to the outside, but better low light than bright light.The team behind Coastal and Verde have done it again!!! Bravo!!“

“I took my mom here as I wanted to take her out on a date together. My mom deserves to get out and enjoy the lovely weather we have been getting up in the Long Island area. We came to this spot (by the way it's called "American Standard"). I think the bar/restaurant change the name.This spot offers live music, we enjoyed a guitarist play during the course of our stay here.We ordered the alligator fritters as our appetizer and catfish poh boy with a burger that had all kinds of galore in it.The food was fantastic, very delicious. The alligator fritters was phenomenal. It's rare to find a bar/restaurant to offer alligator in this area as there aren't any alligators or crocodiles nearby. It was well cooked, not dry. The dish presentation was cute.The meal was very filling as the burgers came with fries or side salad. The poh boy came with the same option, but my mom ordered salad. The food portions were perfect.The spot also offers a wide selection of alcohol, including many choices of craft beer. I highly recommend coming here to have a good time. It's very causal.“

“The service was amazing! There were plenty of seating options both inside and outside. We sat outside. It was really a nice view, spacious, and close to the bathrooms and outside bar. A must try item here is the spinach and artichoke dip with crab in it. This was by far better than any other dip of this kind in the area. It was a good portion and with other appetizers it could have been a meal. They have both valet parking and there is a lot of for parking.“

“Dublin Deck is a Patchogue staple, my family has been coming here for years. I absolutely love the atmosphere, no matter what time of day. The food was excellent & I love the drink options. Live bands, a gift shoppe, seems like a great place to have a party too...only negative thing I have to say is the BEES!! omg my mom & I were swamped, really bad. We moved from the back patio to the indoor central bar & they were STILL swarming us there. It's not as if they're honeybees or bumblebees either, they're the yellow jackets, so when we tried to use the menu to lightly fan them away, they would dive bomb at us lol...Dublin Deck is great man, always has been, but guys, PLEASE get a hold on this bee problem! Regretfully, I don't recommend going here if you know that you're allergic to bees. I'll definitely be back, my family intends to continue coming here too, for years to come, as they have in the years passed...but if I get swamped like that again, I'm OUT, so fast. The bartender was talking about how she's gotten stung there quite a few times, as if it's just a pastime, no big deal lol“
