“My husband and I, along with another couple, ate at Voila the Bistro on Sat. evening 2/24. We had a wonderful dinner - great food, excellent service. We had a round table towards the back of the room - quiet. The highlight of the meal was the soufflé and I recommend leaving room for dessert. We'll definitely return to Voila sometime soon - I highly recommend going to this restaurant for a lovely night out!!“
“I've never been to a restaurant like mosaic before. Very nice experience. The service was impeccable, never been to a five course tasting before. The food was unbelievable , the chef was the best. The atmosphere was ok, not matching the 5 star experience in the other categories. Overall a very nice evening.Dietary restrictions: Very unique. They call and ask if there is any restrictions.“
“This is a woman owned business and she supports other local women owned businesses. The large, but cozy room in the back of the restaurant makes it a great place to have events. Thanks to the chef, who cooked 3 different types of pasta. In addition, the buffet style food was delicious. The waitresses were attentive, knowledgeable, and professional. The pictures were worth the visit.Parking: Large free parking lot is available in the back of the restaurant“
“One of my favorite restaurants! Every course offers great choices. Our daughter is vegan and there is always one or 2 options available for her, as well. The fish and meat are always accompanied by flavorful, interesting vegetables and starches. The wine options are plentiful. The decor is both attractive and comfortable with tables distanced for personal space. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and well established. Really nice dining experience.“
“Best steak! Insignia who?????? Paces is the way to go, first they got the best bartender in town glean and the manager Patrick the manager one of the best persons I’ve meet in a restarunt as well, both treated me with respect and like family !! Deff will be back and food amazing and drinks are to die “
“I’ve done the “One Bite” tour around Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Long Island—I’ve gone to the hole-in-the-wall word-of-mouthers, too. Vincent’s Pizza Truck is undoubtedly up there with the best of them. The plain pie is perfectly dressed; the crust, thoughtfully caramelized with the right hint of char. Expect a crisp bite with great chew and the right balance of sauce to cheese to top a pie as thin as these. Do not skip out on an opportunity to eat here. The staff is always friendly and well-spirited, really rounding out the experience as a whole.“
“The food was delicious, everyone was very happy with what they got. The service was outstanding, the waitress was super friendly and accommodating as well as very attentive. Once the restaurant was filled to capacity the noise level was a bit high but not unbearable. Will definitely visit Cafe Red again.“
“Visited for dinner on a Saturday night. Started by ordering drinks, Bourb-Berry and their cider cinnamon drink. Both were extremely enjoyable and tasty, a good size drink without been overpriced. For starters we shared the buttermilk fried chicken which was very satisfying and a good portion to share between 2 people. Our main meals were their old fields burger and squid ink linguine. Both meals were great and very tasteful. Service was very good, our waiter was very friendly and visited our table often to ensure everything was up to our liking. I would highly recommend giving this restaurant a try if you are in the area.“
“It’s a great little place for a unique twist on some classic meals.Kid-friendliness: Donuts as bread for a chicken sandwich, sometime us adults have to even let the kid come out of us - but if your having any trouble the kitchen is more than accommodating“
“I was actually at Flanigan‘s a week ago. Our food was delicious, the wine was very good, but the best part of the experience was the waitress, Sarah. She never stopped smiling, even though she was running around like crazy came over several times to make sure everything was fine. She is a very special server.“
“This place is great! They have the best food! Every time I order take out they get it right every time. Never an issue with something left out or not cooked enough or even it not being hot when I get home. They do a great job! Very efficient like a well oiled machine. I cannot say enough about them. The chief should be commended everything is delicious. Thank you all for doing such a great job.“
“From Christmas week, 12/26.I'm a bit behind with Burger reviewsThis burger was awesome.I have been here before, last September, but did not post a review here about itI ordered it my usual medium rare, and they cooked it exactly the way I liked it.The meat blend they used is spectacular....It really hit my tastebuds the right way.The bun was fresh, a bit soft, but held up well against the juicy burger..The price was right , $14.50 WITH bacon and cheese. The fries were crispy as I like them.My dining partner had the French Onion Soup, as it was one of the Specials. She said it was up there with one of the best she's had in a while. The service was great!!! Our waitress was quick, professional, upbeat, and funnyIt was busy, as they have a few popular specials on Tuesdays, one being a $22 porterhouse.. The table next to us both ordered it, and they said they loved it.Thanks MerissaThey have their own parking lot, but it fills up quick..There is also street parking. I've never had a problem thereThis burger is in my Top Tier , Top 5 territory..Which is getting very crowded.I'm going to have to budge my stubbornness thinking I can decide the 5 best, when there are truly numerous "TopTier" burgers on Long Island, and on my Radar Screen; which is all of Suffolk County, and an occasional foray into the 516 territory.Cavanaughs, Blue Point“
“Amazing low-key Mexican diner. Great limited short order menu. The roja sauce with the complimentary chips was great. I ordered chicken enchiladas which came ina green sauce topped with chopped steak and a fried egg. The horchata was delicious. Muy bueno.“
“Aji 53 was amazing all around from the moment we walked into the door until we left. The hostess, waitress, ambiance, food and presentation were impeccable! Everyone in my group had sushi, and I had the salmon teriyaki. Endings raved about their meals and cocktails. We'll definitely be back!“
“Had the fried chicken with hot honey sandwich. It was delicious. Also had fries with parmesean cheese and truffle oil. Does pair well with garlic aioli as they suggest. Take out was fine in winter. Would be a happening place in the warmer weather.“
“To start my review, I just wish there were more stars in the food and service category. Trio deserves 10 ⭐'s for both. This restaurant handles two types of food service, restaurant seating and catering for small to large parties. I've now experienced both. My most recent was a repast after a funeral. When everyone is emotional, the last thing the family needs is problems with the food service. Well, in our case, more people showed up than were originally expected. The staff at Trio didn't miss a beat. They set up additional tables in a flash and quickly had the tables set. We had buffet style dining and the selection was outstanding, with something for everyone. From soup to nuts, everything was delicious. They had fish, beef, vegetarian selections and even offered coffee and dessert. (by the way, if I had known how good the desserts would've been, I might have eaten a little less dinner.)The service is impeccable, everything is clean and fresh, the linens and tablecloths were spotless.I'd like to add that Trio is on the grounds of the Holbrook Country Club. You can grab lunch and drinks after you play, just show up and they accommodate parties of all sizes. You won't be disappointed!“
“A very nice and decent sized restaurant, was not busy at all when I walked in for lunch, our waitress was very nice and the food I ordered was very tasty and filling. Can’t go wrong with this restaurant. I just came here for the first time in a while, and now, I need to come here more often.“
“Was very happy with our experience having our daughter’s first birthday in their beautiful party room! The food was delicious, service great, and such a nice atmosphere. Coordinating the party with Jenn was an easy and pleasant experience! Thanks for a great time!“
“Can’t say enough good things about our experience. First we came in on a Friday around 6:30 with our toddler, our waiter Nick immediately saw that she was starving and said he would throw her dish in first, which came out astronomically fast. Nick was super friendly & attentive, our pizza took a while to come out which my husband and I were ok with but the manager noticed herself and came over and offered us a free dessert, it got to the time where my toddler had to go lol so we just opted for the check and since we couldn’t take the dessert they gave us 20% off. We made sure to give Nick tip off the pre discounted price because he was that great. Just great service and attentiveness all around. Thank you and we will be back!“
“2nd time here. Love the games they have to play, like speedball, Pac-Man, board games, card games etc. They have a great happy hour selection at the bar. Live music. Great time to spend with friends. My drink ? was good, shared an appetizer and my roasted veggie tacos ? were yummy.“
“Been wanting to try this place for a long time & it’s a shame I slept on it. Food was amazing - so hard to decide what to get as so many menu options sounded great. Pizza was awesome, Martini Monday is a great deal. Can’t wait to return to try more entrees.“
“The food is soooo good every single time. The service is really good which I feel like is missing in so many restaurants lately. I always have such a great time here. I called an hour before wanting to come in with 5 people and they were so accommodating and wonderful.“
“Went New Year’s Eve had an awesome meal off their special menu. Started off with a nice glass of German resiling wine, Shades of Blue, excellent! Then for appetizer had the crab cakes, loaded with crab topped with Aioli sauce, best I’ve ever had. Then had the fillet mignon with lobster tail, fillet had a good amount of gristle in the middle that I had to work around, other than that it was very good. Lobster tail was presented and seasoned very well in some sort of marinated butter, wine and garlic which I thought was top notch of flavor and tenderness. Came with the mash potatoes another good choice some of the best made. I can’t forget their delicious homemade multi grain bread which was very good. For last desert opted for the Crème Brûlée topped off with fresh made whipped cream, awesome. Let me also mention about our waitress very friendly and accommodating, great customer service.Overall had a very enjoyable and unforgettable experience at Nantucket's other than the fillet not being completely satisfied I give it the Cardillo Scale Rating Review of 4.8 out of 5. Will definitely be back again. Happy New Year ? ? ?“
“We were promptly shown to our table and the chef/owner came over to welcome us. The passion for his food was evident. The lobster bisque was highly recommended in the reviews and they were 100% right. The best I've had with big lumps of lobster meat. Everything else was as delicious and enjoyed by everyone. We will be back!“
“Food can be good at times. You have to tell them to kill your chicken gif if to be cooked properly as well as the vegetables. Also, not the cleanest place at times. Otherwise it's the best in our area. Not many good Chinese places in East Islip, Islip Terrace area.“
“Over 10 years ago, my manager took the staff here for lunch. I had my first Gelato and it was amazing. Recently, in 2024, I took my family here. The food is still cooked with love. Also, as we went to pay the bill, a good patron paid for us to honor my dad's 22 years of serving our country. Thank you for honoring him. We appreciate it. It proved the atmosphere is king and loving.“
“The service was amazing! There were plenty of seating options both inside and outside. We sat outside. It was really a nice view, spacious, and close to the bathrooms and outside bar. A must try item here is the spinach and artichoke dip with crab in it. This was by far better than any other dip of this kind in the area. It was a good portion and with other appetizers it could have been a meal. They have both valet parking and there is a lot of for parking.“
“Have been in the past, but recently visited for Valentine's Day. The appetizers were tasty and well sauced/dressed (clams oreganata and Caesar salad), and the entrées were excellent as well, both the short ribs and free-range chicken. Plenty of great speciality drinks as well as wine and beer selection. The ambiance is what I'd describe as formal comfortable with plenty of seating for a large amount of guests. Our only gripe was a 3% supplemental (credit card fee), especially since over 75% of restaurant diners pay with credit cards, and I haven't seen one of these in a while, though small enough to be rather insignificant. Overall, great experience any time we've visited, servers were very pleasant!Vegetarian options: Yes, there are vegetarian options!Dietary restrictions: Plenty of options.Parking: Parking behind restaurant and across the street with limited walking.Kid-friendliness: More of an adult dining restaurant, but kid-friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“Went the last day of Christmas decorations. Very nice.Everyone enjoyed their food. Only complaint was the eggplant rollatini. Menu said they had a vegetable plate for vegetarians but it wasn't available.Vegetarian options: Not enough selection“
“NOCO never disappoints for so many reasons! The staff are incredible and very attentive. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. And of course the food is of the best quality as well as the presentation. I only found this gem recently and will be my new favorite.“
