“May was amazing to us! She made sure we were well taken care of and made sure we were having a great time. 10/10 place! Will gladly return soon!”
“Not enough words to describe how much I love this place.
It is consistently delicious. I will always start off with a Bruschetta or Raddichio Caesar and it hits every time. The pizzas are fantastic and they always have some funky flavor pairings that are surprisingly tasty. There is hardly a wait except on super busy nights (and then barely a wait at all) and the atmosphere is vibey. I have brought many friends and the reviews are always the same: amazing.
I’d recommend this as a great neighborhood spot any day.”
“First time visitor, I’m impressed by the restaurant. The food is good and taste authentic and service is excellent. Feeling like having hotpot at home and getting pampered 😂.”
“This was one of the places my friend who moved to LA had to come back to during her visit.
They have the best rice cake and sausage (소떡소떡) I’ve had from a chicken shop. The rice cake is the perfect level of crispiness. The sausage is a normal Frankfurt sausage instead of the Korean ones but it’s still okay because their sauce is perfect. Even before eating the chicken, I can tell this is going to be amazing. They have great combo deals which are great for groups and they also give free Cajun fries (which are also good and fresh) a review! Definitely worth trying.”

“What a great find!!! Place was cool inside, food was yummy, we liked it a lot. Staff were friendly and nice. We will definitely go back.”
“Oh my gosh. Food was so good! Seafood and soft tofu stew with white rice and a bunch of free side dishes… for a very reasonable $20. Coming back to try everything on the menu!”
“Came here with a group of five and had a great experience. The interior is cozy and perfect for a relaxed meal with friends.
The food was packed with flavor and definitely impressed the whole table.
Lamb and beef kebabs were well spiced; Glass noodles in sesame sauce were a surprising hit—everyone at the table loved them!
The BBQ lamb rack was a standout: incredibly tender, juicy, and full of flavor.
Great place for group gatherings or casual dining. I’d definitely come back!”

“I stopped by the Hindu Temple Canteen after visiting the temple and the place delivers exactly what people say about it. The food is simple, fresh and made with the kind of consistency you only get in a temple kitchen.
I tried two plates because I was there with a friend. The pongal was warm, comforting and properly seasoned. The curd vada had a light, balanced taste and felt refreshing. The mixture on the side added a nice crunch. The dosa was crisp, not oily, and the coconut chutney tasted clean. The sambar was mild but paired well with everything.
The canteen is not about presentation. It's about honest food that feels familiar and satisfying. Portions are fair and pricing is very reasonable for New York. If you're already visiting the temple, stopping here makes total sense. It’s quick, reliable and a good break before heading back out.”
“there was a nice variety of food and broths to choose from as well as sauces, drinks, and other side dishes. i wasnt a fan of everything but it was good to try new things! they came promptly after requested. some of the food tasted off, though, like the quail eggs which were fishy. they also give you ice cream at the end which hit the spot!!”
“Got stuck waiting for Lirr, I called by the station 10:30 and the manager Steve politely reassured me that they could serve full dining for 1. 5min later walked in and Steve greeted me with a warm welcome like we were old friends (i’m not from NY lol). the bar by the entry felt inviting but modern and Nyan the bartender picked a great cocktail for me to start as i viewed the menu options. i decided on ordering from the grill selection so was promptly sat at a table booth where Anthony my server helped me select the perfect blend of options and also informed me of happy hour deals for the night.
halfway through my great dining service experience with Anthony, Steve made sure to stop by and check in on me which i appreciated as this was a group night out type of spot and eased my worries coming solo.
Kimchi was fresh-Kalbi was well marinated and grilled for me, and i enjoyed each side dish and veggie options that came with the ayce option! Service and venue 10/10 price2foodquailty 9.8/10!”
“Authentic, Korean hole-in-the-wall with both classic and unique dishes to try. From pork belly & galbi to eel, duck, and intestines, there's something for everyone. We especially especially enjoyed the set menu with the beef stomach & duck that came out with some delicious complimentary sides like steamed eggs & soup. Delicious banchan and amazing service. Highly recommend!”

“I dare you to find me a better sushi place than Otoro. I highly recommend the place. The quality of the food, service and ambiance is unmatched!
I personally recommend the edamame, the Yellowtail roll, and the King Salmon nigiri!
I'll be back here for more. I am here a few times a month”
“Had lunch here yesterday and loved it so much I came back today. As a truck driver we are limited to food options on the road for obvious reasons but I’ve been parked in the area and had the opportunity to venture for food. They do not speak English here but the ordering screen makes it a bit easier to see what you like and order directly on the screen.”
“Among my fave spots around. The atmosphere is electric and they play every game! Enjoy their all-day happy hour, when you can receive five shots for $25 to $40 (depending on your poison of choice). The food is more typical of a pub, but it's great for a quick bite and priced friendly! Highly recommended their bulgogi quesadilla. Couldn’t gate-keep any longer!!”
“The shop is quite small, so you might walk right past it without realizing it’s there. To find it more easily, just remember it’s right next to Dunkin' and has a blue sign.
The service is super nice and friendly, but it’s a takeout-only spot, so keep in mind that you'll need to find a place to eat—unless you can't wait and just eat right there! We walked all the way to Tangram Mall to sit down, but by then, the food was already cold.
When the server asks if you want sauce, make sure to get everything. If you like heat, ask for extra Sriracha; if you prefer something nutty and saucy, ask for more peanut butter sauce. I also grabbed a tea egg for just $1—an absolute steal and very tasty! It leans more sweet than savory, which reminded me of tea egg sweet soup.
It’s definitely worth the money and worth a try if you’re already in Flushing.”
“My husband, son & I went to mango mango dessert. The service was very nice & people was very sweet. The dessert & teas was great. We would go back again soon.😊”

“This is the best place ive been to and the ordering is great!!. The workers there are so nice and friendly and if something goes wrong they will try to make it right just got you. And the place is clean they always clean the place they mop and brush the floor, clean the windows. The supplies are usually restocked . If they have it in the back or somewhere they will check and no if there its not because no one wants it its because they care about you and what we need and want because I go there almost everyday they have orders to restock everything AT LEAST 2-3 ( key word: AT LEAST). But place is amazing realy I recommend”
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Danny’s Deli and Grocery is the best! I stop by all the time — the food is always fresh, and the sandwiches are amazing. The crew are super friendly and always make you feel welcome. It’s one of those neighborhood spots that just puts you in a good mood. Great food, great people, great vibes!”
“I was there on Friday at 5:30 PM on December 19, 2025, and the lady on staff was absolutely amazing! She was so kind, patient, and attentive while helping me with a large order for an event. She took the time to go over every detail and made sure everything was perfect. She truly made my day!”
“The food is good. The employees are amazing, this place is always busy when I come to order my food, but the people who work here are always efficient and organized! Most importantly, I have never felt ignored even when they are busy. They really care about us. Thank you all. You guys are the reason why I like Taco ”
“I have eaten there many times and have always been happy with the food. The staff is very helpful and the restaurant is very relaxing .”
Takeout Restaurants
“Chef Papa is an authentic Vietnamese spot and I loved the food here. The beef pho had a rich, flavorful broth, the fried chicken was crispy and juicy, and the spring rolls were fresh and delicious. The beef sandwich was amazing and definitely a highlight. Everything tasted authentic and well made. Highly recommend if you’re craving real Vietnamese food!”
“If you are ever in the mood for all you can eat Korean bbq where the staff cooks everything for you, then this is the place to go. The cuts of meats are delicious, the sides are a plus. I highly recommend the crab soup, corn cheese, and the popcorn chicken to go alongside your meats. The salad dressing is to die for, so make sure to try the salad as well. Overall it is a great place to go to and enjoy a meal with family and friends.”
“******
What a lovely place! An extra star must be added manually compared to other noodle places.
The beef noodle soup was delicious — perfectly cooked noodles and big chunks of tender beef shank. The broth was so flavorful. I didn’t finish it, so I saved some for the next day, and it still tasted great.
I also ordered the fried sticky tofu, which
was amazing — honestly, it tasted even better the next day.
The server is a very polite and friendly young man, and the owner/chef is a lovely lady. The restaurant is very clean as well. If I wasn’t trying to stay on a diet, I would visit them every week!”
“We love eating at Kotha Restaurant! The food is always fresh and delicious, and the flavors are amazing. My kids also love it — it’s one of their favorite places to eat! The staff is friendly, and the service is great every time. Highly recommend Kotha for anyone looking for tasty and family-friendly food!”
“I came here for a get together for a friend's graduation.
It's a really nice family-owned restaurant in the area. Would be a decent date spot, especially because of the outdoor seating... call ahead and see if you can bring a board game.
Kimchi burger was amazing and I'd come back just for that!”
“Food are Great and so delicious! Staff are Nice...outstanding Service.i'm here almost every week. I can't survive a month without eating here🤣🤣🤣”
“Beautiful place with beautiful people. The food and drinks were tasty and everyone was so sweet. We tried the mofongo de cerdo and bistec encebollado, as well as the sangria and the Lorenita cocktail and everything was delicious!”
Drive-Thru Restaurants
“They’ve got great, inexpensive breakfast. It’s take out only as it is just a cashier store front. Cash only. I love their spicy beef crepes ($8) and beef rolls ($5), those are my go to breakfast. Pretty filling for less than $10. The beef rolls are usually ready a lot quicker than the crepes. Since the crepes are made to order from scratch when you order, it’s ~10mins wait depending on how busy they get. It can get pretty busy with lines but definitely worth it.”
“Annie’s Social is a gem! I had an incredible Americano here—smooth, high-quality, and perfectly brewed. What really makes this place stand out is the dedicated indoor dog room. It’s a game-changer to have a separate, clean space to hang out with your pup while enjoying top-tier coffee. Great vibes and even better service. Highly recommend!”
“It's been a hot hot hot minute since I came here after I moved to Long Island Suburbs. My son's big day today and I took a trip here to pick up my custom strawberry cake layered with their famous lightly sweetened freshly whipped cakes. When you step inside It's as if you step back in time. My mom first took me here when I was 11 or 12 and this place still look the same. The bakery captures a lot of customers from the surrounding businesses such as the hospital. It's great to see a flow a diverse crowd visiting this Gem. I also picked up half dozen curry beef pastry and their chicken rolls. I took a bite and taste just like my first time eating them in the 1990s when I was a little boy. When I want a good delicious healthier cake I come to Yeh's.”
“My friend and I wanted some warm soup in the cold winter, so we found this gem around the area!
Really quick service and the owner was so considerate and sweet.
We got the army stew, seafood pancake and steamed dumplings (also can order as fried). Everything hit the spot and we even had enough as leftover to take home as two people eating!
Definitely a really good lunch/dinner spot and will definitely be coming back!”
“This burger spot is a hidden gem on Northern Boulevard. VERY affordable burger (smash burger and chicken sandwich were $5) and the quality is top notch - great quality beef and well-seasoned chicken. The man who owns it was extremely courteous and respectful, which made this hole-in-the-wall experience exceptional. I'd 110% recommend going here!”
“We love Uyghur food especially Lamb Polo. The polo here is the best I had in NYC. We also ordered the lamb soup which is good but a bit too salty, however the lamb is very tender and tasty. The lamb kawaps were very good, juicy and tasty, but the lamp chop was tough and tasteless which I don’t understand. Shouldn’t they be marinated the same way? We also ordered thin-skin steamed mantas, the onion and meat one is very good, but the squash meat one was lack of flavor. Next time I’ll stick with the onion meat ones. Overall, the food is very good, worth a trip.”
“I recently visited Adam’s Chicken, and I’m already counting down the days until I can go back. I ordered the half fried chicken with sweet spicy sauce, and it was absolutely fantastic—crispy on the outside, perfectly juicy inside, and the sauce had the ideal balance of sweetness and heat.
The real surprise, though, was the creamy pasta with cod roe. Rich, silky, and packed with flavor, it was one of the best fusion pasta dishes I’ve ever had. It paired so well with the chicken that I’d recommend getting both.
And I can’t forget the homemade chips with a dried-shrimp dip. I honestly can’t even explain how good it was—unique, savory, and addictively delicious. It’s the kind of dish you keep thinking about long after the meal is over.
Overall, Adam’s Chicken delivers incredible flavors, great portions, and a memorable dining experience. Highly recommend!”

Cheap Eats
“I got the strawberry cheesecake crepe, mango lemonade slush, and fruit smoothie with no sugar. All were very refreshing and tasty. Loved the seating and quick service. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quick sweet treat. They also have savory crepes for those with less of a sweet tooth”
“Love this place!
So happy it’s just around the corner from me ☺️. The bartenders are amazing, Jessica is such a sweetheart and makes the absolute best drinks. The owner is super cool and really sets the tone for the great vibes here.
The cook always puts out delicious finger foods which are perfect for snacking while drinking. I especially love when they do karaoke nights and bring in live bands, it’s always a fun time. And when DJ Sound Nice plays there, he always has the place rocking with all types of music.
This spot is a total gem—great atmosphere, great people, and always a good time!”

We had the grilled chicken, fried chicken and the chi mac combo and everything was 👌🏻👌🏻
Will come again.”
“Can’t believe I forgot to take any photos
Legit Korean place
Good soondae
Spicy ox knee (dogani) moochim
Friendly aunties
Local vibes”
“I’m coming here for Korean bbq! I haven’t came to place over 5 years but I started to eat more vegetables!! I love the place because they give a lot of Vegi wrap and a lot of different varieties!!”
“Nice place to get Chinese food from Northeast region…we especially like the 拔丝地瓜 (sugar coated sweet potato). They also have neat self rotating devices for skewers!”
“Great food full of authentic Korean flavors. Very artistic interior with innovative decorations add to the experience.”
“Got some dinner for family we were visiting. Very good food. We had Rigatoni alla Vodka, Scaloppine alla Sorrentino and Eggplant Rollatini. Everyone did agree my dish,Pollo Scarpariello, was a star. If you like a little spice, it's a winner.”
“🧋BEST BOBA IN TOWN 🧋
If you are in flushing you definitely need to stop and try Xing Fu Tangs brown sugar boba drink ! Their drinks are so unique, their bobas are out of this world made freshly in store making the boba pearls are warm, chewy, & so delicious to eat. I’m obsessed and will continue to put people on”
“Absolutely delicious. Fresh and beautifully plated. Service is so polite and accommodating. Extensive menu. Love dining here!”
“My girlfriend and I decided to try something new tonight, I’ve never had Hot Pot before and saw this place had 5 stars across the board so I obviously got curious and as soon as you walk in you see why. The customer service was amazing and that alone is why I would go back. I don’t remember her name but she was so helpfully showing us how things work, the menu etc. it definitely made us feel comfortable. And then on top of that the food is great, the broth is 🤤🤤🤤.
I’ll be turning!”
“Iykyk this place has the best seafood pancake ever even better than Korea trustttt. This is also the only place I like sujebi from bc it’s actually got a bite and is nice and chewy. Their portions are also huge I can never finish. I’ve come here many times and will keep coming back”
“To be honest, my friend's an I were not the biggest fan of the beef or pork skewers here but the vegetable skewers were to die for! The cauliflower and king oyster mushrooms were so so good!”
“This is very personal review.
Im crazy of sashimi.
It is very impossible to find raw live fish in other states.
But, Only N.Y and L.A. does have this because they have so enough sashimi restaurants with high demand that they could import raw fishes with acceptable Transportation costs from korea by airplanes.
This is economies of scale.
Anyway,
Sashimi was excellent for me.
Service and Atmosphere doesn't matter to me.
I was so happy to enjoy live fish.
I recommend you to visit if you like to live seafood.”
“Tai Er is amazing! The spicy sour fish soup is the best and so flavorful with that perfect numbing kick. It is inside Tangram which makes it a fun spot since you can walk around and explore after eating. Definitely a go to if you are craving bold flavors.”
“great omakase good and fresh fish....not bad for Queens location”
“Super fresh and delicious food! The bulgogi cheese skillet is to die for. Definitely a great Korean restaurant to visit if you’re in the Flushing area.”
“Great restaurant, food drink, service. They have the best Canelazos in cold weather.”
“I travelled 40 miles deep into Flushing Queens for the best Korean Fried Chicken! Comes with Spicy or Soy Garlic, Juicy Drumsticks or wings and with some tangy sour pickled radish or sweet creamy kimchi cole slaw. You are missing out if you have not tried this!!! You want some?! Usually I would get this when I worked the Financial District or Midtown Manhattan but this was the closest to home and they did not let me down!! Like most Korean Fried Chicken Places in Flushing or K-Town Manhattan... you can see Asian families/ laughing and eating wings with a whole pile of delicious wings dumped in the middle of the table! They on to something here! Lol #foodie #foodporn #koreanfood #friedchicken”

“My opinion is 8.7/10. Overall good time. Bonchon hit right, over 5 choices. Meat was tender and flavorful. Well priced at $45 for galbi and sides. The service was selective but the person serving me up the galbi was great. Check out my in depth video reviews on any of the platforms below. “We’re from CA/TX and can say that these are the best al pastor tacos we’ve had in NYC!
Taco deets:
3 tacos for $6, incl radishes, limes, salsa
Cash / card (if you pay in store)
no seating area
Super clean stand
Opens at 4pm
We also ordered a huge $10 torta milanesa which was perfectly done. We couldn’t stop complementing them!
We’ll definitely be back here, if only for the tacos.
UPDATE
Came back since it was so great! This time we ordered the quesadilla which differed from the traditional US quesadilla. The tortilla was made in house and filled with a generous portion of meat as well as a Mexican cheese. Muy rico!”
“We were attending an event at Queens College and wanted to have a lunch/dinner afterwards, so we searched for restaurants nearby. There were many choices, but I was impressed by the website and menu for Piccolo Sogno. Following the event, joined by four friends, my wife and I made the short drive to the restaurant. It was a hot day, and at first we said we would like to dine inside. But the gracious host said we were welcome to check the outside seating first--and we're so glad we did! In the lovely, covered garden, we comfortably began a great feast! Piccolo Sogno has a nice selection of wines and beers as well as sparkling water. That was followed by delicious Calamari Fritti (done to perfection) and a Hot Antipasto Sampler with more calamari, baked clams, eggplant rolatini and amazing fried shrimp. We followed that with Pollo Alla Francese (some of the best I've ever had), Spaghetti Carbonara, Penne Vodka, and Insalata Dello Chef with chicken. These were served with generous side orders of Caesar salad or pasta. The service was friendly, courteous and at a pace that made for a wonderful afternoon. Even though we were extremely well-filled, we ordered dessert, and are so glad we did! The Limoncello Flute was one of the best desserts we've had, as was the Chocolate Mousse. Some iced expresso (wait until you see the special way it is layered!) and coffee would have been the end of a perfect meal, but then Chef Maurizio himself came out to spend some time at our table. After a nice conversation, he took this selfie shot of us all. As we left, the wonderful staff of the restaurant all greeted us and thanked us for coming. I can't remember the last time that happened in such a warm and spontaneous way. I could not more highly recommend a restaurant. We live in Manhattan and have our choice of some of the best restaurants anywhere--but actually, I look forward to returning to Piccolo Sogno!”
“Best Indian food I ever had, the owner is very kind, very well dressed and very nice guy, as well as the rest of the staff. The place is a step above others.... Since they left lexington ave I cant go quite as often as I used to... but still my favororite place... food is great, all the right spices... A++”
“Been there a few times. I must say food is fantastic!!! The fish tacos and the southwestern chicken sandwich is a must try. They have different specials everyday. Friendly atmosphere, service is very attentive. Love trivia nights and live music on Saturdays. So far is my favorite place to go with friends and family. Great spot for lunch, dinner and weekend brunch. Highly recommended!!”
“Service is great, always happy & friendly. We go for takeout at least 1x/month. Fried soy sauce chicken. Cute/cool place for beer and other foods too. Chicken is delicious, would eat everyday if I could.”
“our waitress had such good recommendations. Moonlight and Fried Garlic Ribs were great! I personally liked the Snowy River cause the of the hazelnut flavor 🥰 Great service and great appetizers! We went when they opened around 3 so there was no other customer. An unlucky day where our waitress was the only one working so I feel bad but she did an amazing job. We were pleased. Restroom was a mess probably from the night before. They had chair seating in the glass room and floor seating in the back. Both are good options”
“I had a great time here. The atmosphere was nice. There were decorating for the Christmas theme. All the workers were very nice.
They have a happy hour menu which was nice. They have happy hour prices for wine $8 and $5 shots. I did not try it because I stuck to the prosecco. We also ordered the Three cup chicken which came with a bowl of rice and was very delicious. It has fresh basil. It was now than enough for left overs. I also ordered the chili cucumber salad, it was refreshing and had a sweet hint of flavor. My friend ordered the cheeseburger spring rolls, he said they were delicious.
I decided recommend this rooftop restaurant/bar. They have outside seating but it was too cold for us.”
“I had an amazing experience at this Korean restaurant! . yungmi, was super friendly and attentive, and the place was clean and comfortable. Definitely one of the best Korean food spots I’ve tried. Highly recommended!”
“Really creative and delicious dessert options! We had the Milky Puff, which had a really incredible mix of textures, and the Matcha Lava with a perfectly made lava cake!”
“Wow! I woke up early and felt like trying something different. Ordered this spicy squid tteokbokki and it was amazing. Spicy 5/10 and nutty flavor. The squid was very fresh.
First time here, I’ll definitely be back with the family.”
“We loved their dakgalbi! It was my first time having it in three years since living in Korea - and it was exactly how I remembered it. The woman who served us (maybe the owner) was super friendly and helpful. We will definitely be coming back 🤩”
“This place is seriously so good! The service is super friendly and quick, and the food tastes amazing. There are tons of options to choose from, so there’s something for everyone. It’s tucked away in this cute little spot that honestly makes you feel like you’re somewhere in Asia. The vibe is really chill and pretty—definitely a spot worth checking out!”
“Cute place to get take out food for weekday or Shabbos. Yisroel, the guy in the front was friendly and knowledgeable about the different foods and allowed my kids to sample the salad, inspiring me to buy it. Thanks yisroel for getting them their veggies!”
“I like the Cozy environment and foods are really good! If you like spicy food,it is your best choice😋”
“Ribeye was delicious and prepared exceptionally well. The fried rice was a great compliment to it. And the roasted garlic was a new and welcome addition to the steak. The service was very friendly, efficient, and attentive.”
“Great atmosphere, delicious food, fresh, creative, and appetizing along with great service!”
“Annie’s kitchen is in all likely hood one of the finest eateries in the tristate, in fact I would dare to say the entire western hemisphere. The atmosphere is incredible, the staff extremely inviting helpful and hospitable. I felt more like family than a customer dining there. In short it is a must and will be recommending.
P.S. the portions are very large, very good for the money but I finished it so I can’t take a pic because I was very hungry.”
“Authentic Flavors and Warm Hospitality!
I had an incredible experience at Plateia GR! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with friendly smiles and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that immediately set the tone for the evening.
The food was absolutely delicious — everything tasted fresh and authentically Greek. The grilled octopus was tender and perfectly seasoned, the meatballs were so moist and so good, and the gyro was delicious and full of flavor. The tzatziki and warm pita were the best I’ve ever had, and the galaktobouriko at the end of the meal was the perfect sweet finish.
What really stood out was the staff’s genuine hospitality — they took the time to explain the dishes and made sure we had everything we needed without ever feeling rushed.
If you’re looking for a place that serves real Greek cuisine with heart and care, this is it. I can’t wait to come back!”
“The very best pizzeria/Italian restaurant in Ozone Park, and maybe any-where in Queens!!!!!”
“I’ve been to this place many times, probably almost 10 times by now! These days, it’s pretty rare for anyone to visit a Flushing restaurant that often unless it’s really good. Great service and great food every time!
The Fish Head Casserole is a must order! For $25, it comes with so much tofu, glass noodles, and veggies, super hearty. They always give free soup dumplings for orders over $30, and they are really solid. Honestly, I think they are some of the best soup dumplings in Flushing, even better than Nan Xiang.
The Chestnut Chicken Stew is also good, but the portion is much smaller than their other dishes so it is not as worth trying.
The Squirrel Fish is also pretty good, though I forgot to take a picture, and the portions are very big.
Will definitely come back again!”
“The best banchan and authentic korean food! The service is excellent and the food tastes like you’re back in Korea—especially the variety in kimchi, boss, and various soups.”
“Portions are super generous and we highly recommend it! The curries and duck were great. The pad kee mow here is AMAZING! THE BEEF WAS TENDER AND THE NOODLES WIDER THAN ANY OTHER PLACE!”
“Pork head meat, pig tongue, pig ears, chicken rack ($10) are all super delicious
Red sausage is not delicious
The $14 chicken rack comes with cilantro and raw onions, which is not delicious.
Very poor service attitude”
“The food here is absolutely amazing. The home style chicken curry is a A. Everything they cook is beyond tasty 😋. The owners are like family to me. I always come with my husband and daughter and they make sure I am well taking care of. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️”
“We happened to stop by for dinner and very glad we did. The food is totally authentic Shanghai cuisine and very reasonably priced. The xiao long bao were some of the best I've had!”
“Great local "dive" bar lol. Good atmosphere, pool table, dart board, jukebox, TVs, bar area and tables. Nicole was a great bartender. Not over crowded, but enough people there that y has some life. We don't go out that often anymore, but it's good to have a local watering hole in the neighborhood when we do.”
“The food is exceptional, very high quality vegetarian food. Very creative dishes.”
“Zen Ginseng is a very good ginseng supplier, offering high quality at a lower price. My wife and I have been loyal customers of Zen/Yi Zhou for over 20 years, consistently impressed by their customer service, freshness, and potency. We use their ginseng a couple of times a week for our health, often give it as gifts, and have introduced many friends to Zen Ginseng. It’s a trusted supplier with both heritage and value.”
“Took a trip to Sol Boulevard in Flushing and basically ate like I was preparing for the Peruvian Olympics. 🏅
Started light with Salchipapas — aka hot dogs and fries, because sometimes you just need that “kids menu” energy. Then came the fried calamari with yuca fries… which I’m convinced could bring world peace. 🌎🍟
Warmed up with Caldo De Gallina — rich chicken broth so comforting it felt like it knew my childhood secrets. 🥣
And then… the Seco Combinado — beef oxtail stew in cilantro sauce with beans and rice. One bite and I was ready to apply for Peruvian citizenship. 🇵🇪

“Tucked away in Flushing next to the Hyatt Hotel, Iki Modern Restaurant is a hidden gem worth seeking out. While it’s a bit tricky to find at first, the discovery is more than rewarding. If you’re facing the Hyatt on 39th Ave, look to the left for a short staircase leading up to the restaurant.
The lunch deals here are exceptional. We tried the sushi set, a tender short ribs plate (imported from Japan), and their surprisingly popular catfish set—which I now understand is a favorite. The catfish was delicate, fresh, and carried a clean, oceanic flavor that stood out.
But the real star was the wagyu and uni on toast was an absolute highlight of our indulgent meal. We also sampled their lobster with cheese special (a very fair $13 for half, $26 for whole), and if you’re feeling luxurious, don’t miss their newest menu item: the truffle, foie gras, and caviar don. Each bite was decadent, rich and worth savoring slowly.
To top it off, the staff kindly offered us a complimentary dessert. The bird’s nest coconut pudding is a must try for the adventurous, if you prefer something more familiar, their standard ice cream is just as satisfying.
Service throughout was attentive, tea was quietly refreshed, dishes were cleared promptly and every detail was handled with care.
Iki is a place I’d highly recommend if you want to experience something different than the typical Japanese restaurant. I appreciate that they experiment and elevate traditional Japanese dishes.
A true dining delight in Flushing.”
“Hands down one of the best BBQ spots in NYC! The real charcoal grill makes such a huge difference in flavor. The service was outstanding as well—the staff was incredibly friendly and helped grill everything to perfection. Highly recommend checking this place out if you're in Flushing!”
“The food and service was really good! 👍🏻
I am not someone that really likes eel but it was really good!
The boss lady was really nice. I had my nephew with me and she went out of her way to cut up the eel and meat that we order to kid size. She made sure that my nephew was also enjoying himself. She also told us how to eat the eel, with the leaf and chives (? I think it was those?)”
“Very authentic Taiwanese spot with service staff who give awesome recommendations. Loved all of the food, especially the minced pork, steamed fish and the stir fried clams.”
“I’m pretty sure I discovered this spot long before Anthony Bourdain did! 😏 It was featured in Parts Unknown Season 9, Episode 4 (Queens), where he dined here with chefs Josh Smookler and Cosme Aguilar. Geo Si Gi is highly known for their signature gamjatang (spicy pork bone soup).
Ordered the Gamjatang & Grilled Mackerel Set – $52.95 (for 2)
The gamjatang is perfectly spiced – bold and warming without overwhelming heat (and trust me, my spice tolerance is low!). Instead of the usual red kimchi, they load it with long strips of green napa cabbage, cut right before your eyes before serving. Some bean sprouts, watercress on top, with tender potatoes, chewy rice cakes, and massive pork bones that fall right off – so meaty and flavorful. Served with a side of sweet mustard sauce. Pure comfort on a cold day.
The grilled mackerel was enormous and incredibly plump – way bigger than expected! As an oily fish, it’s rich and satisfying, but we barely made it through a third. If you’re a mackerel fan like me, it’s a must-order.
.
Banchan were simple and homey: nothing flashy, just solid classics. Bonus: it comes with fluffy steamed egg (jjim) that rounds out the meal perfectly. I can eat an entire bowl of rice with just the steamed egg 😊
.
This set was massive for two – we left with about 1/4 of the soup and 2/3 of the fish! Pro tip: Save some broth and ask them to make fried rice with it at the end. Game-changer.
.
Highly recommend for hearty, soul-warming Korean food in Flushing!”
“The chicken skewers are delicious. Great late night snack. Not a fan of the beef or lamb skewers—too fatty and chewy for me. The chives are yummy, but too stringy. Owner is super nice.
Update: The beef and lamb skewers, while still somewhat fatty, have tasting better and better.”
“I am very familiar with the korean restaurants in the flushing area and not sure how I missed this place but have to say the food was AMAZING. Everything from the banchan (side dishes) to the meat marinade quality was excellent! Jeolla flavors came on strong (known for their deliciousness). Definitely a hidden gem! Also, recommend their dakdoritang. Probably top 3 I’ve ever had in my life. And definitely ask them to do the finisher with rice at the end for this.”
“I was craving for skewers and wanted to dine in instead of getting it from the street carts. Was seated immediately by the friendly staff. They offer traditional skewers and stir fry items. It was not fully packed which was great, because I was hungry. They cook all the items for you and bring it straight ti your table. Flavor of the food was really great, super affordable and really authentic. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a late night snack. Definitely will be back!”
“A really great tofu stew place with a good assortment of alternative entrees (marinated/spicy pork belly, galbi, etc). Their bibimbap is actually one of my favorites - super fresh and a generous portion - just don’t get it to-go (I think they pre-pack them and it was soggy & wilted the only time I got it to go). I’ve had most of the dishes on their menu and all of it was delicious.”
“good place with chinese food. Will be here with my friends next time.”
“My wife and I drove a103 miles just to try them out , it was worth the drive !! Highly recommended!! And yes I know there are closer ones to us but we needed a little drive time !! Staff was awesome!! And foods and coffees we had were on point the choo choo chips are amazing!! We will be back !!”

“Shovon is the best! Good customer service and my chicken is always hot and fresh at this location. Try the new Hot Ones collab, the flavor is so good, and the ranch is the best sauce i’ve had. I’m not over exaggerating, I don’t even usually like ranch but trust me, this collab did good.”

“The Most Authentic Egyptian Food in NYC
If you’re looking for REAL Egyptian flavor, you have to try Falafel Bites in Brooklyn! I just went, and honestly… this is the closest taste to home I’ve had in the U.S. Every single dish was fresh, flavorful, and made with true Egyptian soul.
The falafel was perfectly crispy, the koshary tasted exactly like downtown Cairo, and the tahini sauce was on another level. The staff were so warm and welcoming, specially cherry it felt like visiting family.
I’m telling you — this is the best Egyptian restaurant in New York, hands down. If you want authentic Egyptian food that brings you back to the streets of Cairo and Alexandria, this is the place. Highly recommended! 🌟🇪🇬”
“I came here hoping to go to the old Chinese restaurant that was there before, but I tried this place and glad I did. The teriyaki dishes are good. I loved the enthusiasm and the free spring rolls they gave to first-time customers. The restaurant is really clean and has a fun atmosphere. Would recommend to people in this neighborhood to give them business.”
“Stumble upon this little bar during our stay in Flushing, had a wonderful experience with one of their regular there (Gabe).
Staff were friendly and nice, price was decent, and karaoke set up was great. Would stop by again, when in the area.”
“Got the egg cream viet iced coffee. I got 50% condensed milk even though they recommend 100%. It was fantastic and the perfect sweetness level. The egg cream was thick and also sweet with a subtle egg tart like flavor. I’m definitely coming back and getting a large ;)”
“This diner is a jewel in residential Whitestone. Surrounded by private houses, you are likely to miss the diner. We are an ova-lacto-vegetarian family. We ate vegetarian quesadillas and tacos. Neither of them were on the menu but they substituted pinto beans for meat and it was amazing. I would say it is a quaint little diner with amazing tex-mex food!”
“YuanYang Dessert is a relatively small and modern chain that appears quite new, offering a pleasant atmosphere that includes clean restrooms, a definite plus.
The main draw for me was the desserts themselves. I loved that everything was not too sweet, which is exactly what I prefer. This made the experience feel lighter and less heavy than typical dessert places. While the signature dessert was perfectly fine, it wasn't remarkable for me, so I'm looking forward to exploring the rest of their menu on my next visit.
I was a bit surprised by a few menu details. First, they didn't carry the hot, black sesame-filled mochi, which is a staple at many similar dessert shops. More importantly, the menu description for the sesame balls was unclear, and the waitress failed to mention that the item was fried when I ordered. This lack of transparency is concerning, especially for customers who need to be cautious about preparation methods due to dietary restrictions or allergies. Hopefully, they clarify the menu and preparation methods in the future.
In terms of convenience, the location stands out. They offer a great self-service screen for quick takeout orders, which is a nice bonus. Attentional, the staff was patient, accommodating, and spoke fluent English when answering my questions.
Overall, I will absolutely return. Its excellent location, right on a block with several other great restaurants, makes it the perfect place go to for dessert.”
“great food, friendly staff, very clean bathroom.”
