“157 Tavern has been a staple in the area for 10 years and is an excellent choice for parties or group gatherings. You can simply provide them with your budget, and they will curate the menu for you, which makes the planning process very convenient.
Regarding the food:
Grilled Spanish Octopus: Highly recommended. The potato pave is delicious, and the octopus is tender with a perfect charred exterior.
Short Rib with Bone Marrow: The meat is very tender and falls apart at the touch of a fork, though I wish the portion of bone marrow was a bit larger.
King Salmon: Quite tender.
Burrata Cheese: Standard/average.
Caramel Flan: Delicious and beautifully presented.
Overall, it is a great spot for a nice dinner.”

“I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.”
“I love the food. It tastes high quality and very authentic. Especially their famous popcorn chicken. It tasted really authentic and was really well seasoned, and had great quality ingredients.
The service was excellent; the waiters and the rest of the staff were really nice. The atmosphere was also really clean and sanitary.”
“The friendliest staff that you can ever imagine, along with large portion sizes of the most unique central Asian flavors I’ve ever experienced. Not coming here means you are missing out on a phenomenal dining experience. Ask for recommendations and you will not be disappointed!”
“Woodam is definitely worth a visit! The food was delicious, the prices were very reasonable, and the service was excellent. Our waitress was warm, attentive, and made us feel very welcome throughout the meal. Great value for the quality of the food and overall dining experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!”
“Delicious fresh eel! Eel is crispy and then melts in your mouth. All the banchan were flavorful and well seasoned, especially the kimchi! Owner was very kind. Will be back again”

“This is the best place ive been to and the ordering is great!!. The workers there are so nice and friendly and if something goes wrong they will try to make it right just got you. And the place is clean they always clean the place they mop and brush the floor, clean the windows. The supplies are usually restocked . If they have it in the back or somewhere they will check and no if there its not because no one wants it its because they care about you and what we need and want because I go there almost everyday they have orders to restock everything AT LEAST 2-3 ( key word: AT LEAST). But place is amazing realy I recommend”
“Best place to buy an empanada if you are in a hurry. The beef, chicken, and cheese empanadas are very good. The female workers that work there are amazing. $2.50 each for an empanada is still pretty decent. You won’t find empanadas anywhere priced at $2.50 because in other locations, they are priced at $3.00. But definitely come visit this place.”
“i have been coming here since the previous owners had it as it is near my job. when the new owners took over they really fixed it up nice but there was this guy at the counter that was so incredibly rude and looked as miserable as can be all the time. every time i asked for coffee it was like i was bothering him. the reason i came to leave a review today is because of who was behind the counter. he was so nice and so friendly it was a completely different experience then it has been. whoever was working the register today i hope you stick around!”
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Danny’s Deli and Grocery is the best! I stop by all the time — the food is always fresh, and the sandwiches are amazing. The crew are super friendly and always make you feel welcome. It’s one of those neighborhood spots that just puts you in a good mood. Great food, great people, great vibes!”
“The most amazing sushi ever ,excellent service, and beautiful atmosphere . Must try, make sure you make a reservation ,they are usually full and may not have extra Tabel. Also order the cheese cake you will love it.”
“We ordered Korean fried chicken, which was delicious, and the military hot pot was very rich in ingredients, and truffle fries is recommended. Very recommended this Korean restaurant.”

Takeout Restaurants
“SI recently had an excellent experience with this company and wanted to share my appreciation for the outstanding service I received. From the moment I reached out, the customer support team was friendly, responsive, and genuinely interested in helping me. Scheduling was simple, and they kept me informed throughout the entire process, which made everything stress-free.
The technician arrived on time, was professional, and took the time to carefully inspect the issue before explaining the available options. I appreciated the honest communication and the attention to detail. The repair was completed efficiently, and everything was thoroughly tested to ensure it was working perfectly before the job was finished. The work area was left clean, and all my questions were answered patiently.
What impressed me most was the company's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. They didn't rush the job or recommend unnecessary services. Instead, they focused on providing a reliable solution at a fair price. It's refreshing to find a business that values professionalism, transparency, and excellent workmanship.
I would confidently recommend this company to anyone looking for dependable service. If you're searching for a team that is knowledgeable, punctual, and truly cares about delivering great results, this is a business you can trust. I will definitely use their services again in the future and won't hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.”
“This is very personal review.
Im crazy of sashimi.
It is very impossible to find raw live fish in other states.
But, Only N.Y and L.A. does have this because they have so enough sashimi restaurants with high demand that they could import raw fishes with acceptable Transportation costs from korea by airplanes.
This is economies of scale.
Anyway,
Sashimi was excellent for me.
Service and Atmosphere doesn't matter to me.
I was so happy to enjoy live fish.
I recommend you to visit if you like to live seafood.”
“Such a lovely spot! The ambiance is warm and inviting, and the customer service was genuinely kind and attentive. Everything was impeccably clean, and the desserts were presented so beautifully—it almost felt like art. The garlic bread was flavorful and perfectly done. I’m excited to return and explore more of their offerings, especially their packages.”

“It's been a hot hot hot minute since I came here after I moved to Long Island Suburbs. My son's big day today and I took a trip here to pick up my custom strawberry cake layered with their famous lightly sweetened freshly whipped cakes. When you step inside It's as if you step back in time. My mom first took me here when I was 11 or 12 and this place still look the same. The bakery captures a lot of customers from the surrounding businesses such as the hospital. It's great to see a flow a diverse crowd visiting this Gem. I also picked up half dozen curry beef pastry and their chicken rolls. I took a bite and taste just like my first time eating them in the 1990s when I was a little boy. When I want a good delicious healthier cake I come to Yeh's.”
“Another hot pot place to try that has seasonal crawfish that is so fresh, you won’t regret ordering it. Crawfish are giant with fresh garlic flavoring. The soup base is out of this world and is a must try if you are in flushing. We got the tomato and pork bone and I’m telling you, some soup makes your mouth dry because of the high msg content but this one doesn’t. Everything was fresh and the staff were top notch. I know there a lot of hot pot in flushing and there are so many good ones out there but none can say they serve fresh crawfish and 12% off high school ID for students as a promotion. I will be honest, if it wasn’t for the crawfish and the discount, it would be harder to separate as there are many good hotpot spot but for now, this would be my go to spot until the promo is over.”
“came here on a date with my boyfriend and we were pleasantly surprised to find a local gem! restaurant was small and unassuming from the outside however the inside was pretty and elegant. the service was excellent, friendly and fast. pre fix dinner was an amazing deal, the cheese ravioli was delicious! they had a gorgeous tray of desserts i got to choose from, the cake was the perfect way to end the night i ended up ordering 2 slices just for myself 😭 its now one of my fave italian spots, i cant wait to come back and try more from them :D”
“I had a wonderful experience here. The Butter Cookie Latte was absolutely amazing—easily one of the best specialty lattes I’ve had in a long time. The Caprese sandwich was good and fresh, though it wasn’t quite as memorable as the coffee.
What really makes this place stand out is the atmosphere and service. The staff were welcoming and attentive, creating a warm and comfortable environment. The music selection was relaxing and perfectly suited for getting work done on a laptop or simply enjoying a peaceful break. If you’re looking for a cozy café with great coffee, excellent service, and a productive yet calming vibe, this is definitely worth a visit.”
“Had an amazing meal here! The hot-sizzling black fish was absolutely the highlight—super flavorful, tender, and packed with aroma. The golden soup beef was refreshing and rich at the same time, perfect with rice. We also tried the spicy chicken popcorn, crispy pork bites, and mala beef mix, all very satisfying and great for sharing.”
“Mr sushi always treats us so well. Excellent white fish complimentary which is a lovely way to begin this exquisitely delicious culinary experience. The staff is sensationally kind and the music just tops it off so well. I would reccomend anyone to come here.”
“Love this place, have been here several times and will continue to come back. Servers are friendly and helpful. They help with cooking and swap out the grills frequently. Drinks are strong!”
Fine Dining
“Wagyu Place BBQ is one of the more upscale all-you-can-eat Japanese barbecue restaurants in Flushing, specializing in premium wagyu beef, sushi, seafood, and table-side grilling. The restaurant has a modern interior with a lively atmosphere, making it a good choice for groups or special occasions. Unlike most AYCE barbecue spots, the focus here is on higher quality cuts of beef, and the staff regularly comes by to help grill the meat, making the experience feel more polished.
The wagyu is the main reason to visit. The meat is well-marbled, tender, and noticeably better than what you would typically find at standard Korean or Japanese barbecue buffets. Depending on the menu you choose, there is a wide selection of Australian, American, and Japanese wagyu, along with sushi, sashimi, seafood, and other side dishes. Every meal also begins with a cheese lobster, which was rich, creamy, and a nice addition before the barbecue starts. I also appreciated that the portions are generous, so it is better to order gradually instead of trying to sample everything at once.
The dessert selection ended up being one of the biggest surprises. Fresh fruit like pineapple and cantaloupe was exceptionally sweet, and the soft serve and other desserts were a refreshing way to finish such a heavy meal. It helped balance out all of the rich meats, making the meal feel more complete instead of ending on another savory course.
Service was another standout. The staff frequently checked on the table, replaced grills when needed, and helped cook and cut the meat to ensure everything was prepared properly. Since the restaurant is popular, reservations are a good idea during peak dinner hours, although the experience runs smoothly once you are seated.
Overall, Wagyu Place BBQ is one of the stronger premium AYCE barbecue experiences in Flushing. The quality of the wagyu, attentive service, and wide variety of barbecue, sushi, seafood, and desserts help justify the higher price. It is more expensive than a typical barbecue buffet, but if you are looking for a higher-end all-you-can-eat experience centered around quality wagyu, it is worth considering.”
“*4/5 stars — Great hall and food, one staffing issue*
We held our event at this hall and overall it was a really nice experience. The venue is clean, well-decorated, and has a great layout for guests. The food was a standout — fresh, hot, and flavorful. Everyone at our table commented on how good it was.
The only issue we ran into was with one of the volunteer staff members. Instead of serving, he sat down and ate with the guests. He also cleared plates and removed food from the table while people were still eating. It was awkward and threw off the flow of the meal a bit.
Outside of that, the rest of the team was attentive and the manager was responsive when we mentioned it. For the quality of the hall and food, I’d still recommend booking here. Hopefully they address the volunteer training so guests can finish their meals in peace.
*Pros:* Beautiful hall, excellent food, good value
*Cons:* Volunteer staff behavior — clearing food too early, eating with guests
Would book again, and I hope they sort out the staffing detail because everything else was top-notch.”
“Absolutely love the wood charcoal here. Accidentally stumbled here a little over a year ago and have been coming back since. Heard it was ranked #5 on the Beli app in the five boroughs below a handful of restaurants such as Cote. We always order the G1 marinated mapo galbi. The non-marinated G2 is also pretty good if you prefer your meats non-marinated. We felt that the G4 beef tongue is very small in portion size and not as tasty. We used to get the G5 pork ribs when we first visited over a year ago, but it was out of stock every time we visited for months. They had it the most recent time we visited but we felt like the quality of the cut has gone down. Overall, we love the side dishes here, but depending on the server you get, you may get variable service. They always grill and cut the meat for you, but sometimes this one server has rejected my request for an additional steamed egg despite spending $100+ each time I visit here.”
“The food is like nothing I’ve ever had before. The best restaurant in Flushing. I had a wonderful time with my friends. :)”

“One of the best halal spots in Queens! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and the portions are generous. The doner kebab is juicy, perfectly seasoned, and the ingredients taste fresh every time. The restaurant is clean, the service is fast, and the staff are welcoming and friendly. Great place for a quick lunch or dinner. I’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommended.”
“A lovely café with a nice, relaxing environment and simple yet elegant décor. The vibe is calm and inviting—perfect for unwinding or enjoying a quiet moment. I tried the matcha latte and absolutely loved it; the balance between the milk and matcha was just right, smooth and not overpowering. The avocado sandwich was also delicious and very satisfying. A great spot to relax and enjoy quality drinks and food. Highly recommend!”
“I had previously left a simple 5 star review of this place but I deleted to add a new one because I’ve now had many smashburgers around NYC and this has got to be my favorite by a long shot. If it wasn’t such a trek to get here without a car from my place I would be here 4+ times a week. It’s always super fresh. I always judge a place on the burger sauce too and this one is def my favorite I’ve found in NYC so far. The people are always nice. Burgers have always come out fast. There’s only thing … I wish they had cheddar cheese. I can’t get on the American cheese hype. But im an odd one. I also wish they had a location in the Bronx 😉”
“Flushing has plenty of chinese food for sure, but I came to Flushing specifically to find uyghur food as you can't really find this type of cuisine in the US. And the food simply blew me away. I dont know how they make the lamb polo but that is probably one of the best rice dishes ive ever had. The lamb was so tender and rice was so flavourful. And the 烤包 (kao bao) was amazing too as it was filled w juicy sweet onions and beef. Absolutely great meal and Im glad I came here.”
“My boyfriend and I absolutely LOVE this place. They have the best oxtail soup in the area and we always order it with either jokbal and/or seafood pancake. Last time we spoke with the only male server/staff (our favorite and always provides the best service) and learned that it was stewed for (?I think he said) 8+ hrs or something along those lines. They also have the best side dishes, as my boyfriend loves their cabbage kimchi. However, we wouldn’t recommend ordering the galbi as it is relatively tough and tastes like it was cooked in a pan rather than a grill. We tried some of their other soup dishes but weren’t too big a fan of those either. Usually the place is pretty cozy but sometimes they do host large parties, where it can get pretty rowdy. Definitely a hidden gem we visit pretty frequently.”
“Great studying spot. There’s two floors and the top floor has a lot of seating with charging outlets. I LOVE the mango mousse cake but it is on the pricier side for a small fist-sized cake (~$14). I also really enjoy the yuzu earl grey tea, super refreshing on a hot day. Highly recommend if ur cramming for finals or just want a nice cafe to chat at.”
“The friendliest staff that you can ever imagine, along with large portion sizes of the most unique central Asian flavors I’ve ever experienced. Not coming here means you are missing out on a phenomenal dining experience. Ask for recommendations and you will not be disappointed!”
“This is the most delicious Korean Chinese restaurant I‘ve ever eaten. The place is clean and friendly. I love this place and Truly recommend ~!!!!”
“Amazing variety of food , friendly staff, quick service. The atmosphere was great, perfect for hanging out with a few friends for some drinks in the evening also.”
“I had the Spicy Stir-Fried Pork Intestines, and it was absolutely delicious! The intestines were fresh, perfectly cooked, and packed with authentic spicy flavor. The seasoning was rich and balanced, with just the right amount of heat.”

“I have eaten there many times and have always been happy with the food. The staff is very helpful and the restaurant is very relaxing .”

“The food was amazing and the service was even better. Our server Miso was extremely attentive and made the best food recommendations. We were originally going to eat elsewhere but I’m so glad we ended up here instead. 11/10 from the service alone and would come back again.”
“I recently visited Song Lai Xiang, and it was one of the best Yanbian-style BBQ experiences I’ve had in New York.
The skewers were fresh, well-seasoned, and grilled perfectly. The rotating grill made the meal both fun and effortless, so everyone could relax and enjoy the food without constantly turning the skewers. Beyond the BBQ, the authentic Northeastern Chinese dishes were also excellent and full of flavor.”
“My husband, son & I went to mango mango dessert. The service was very nice & people was very sweet. The dessert & teas was great. We would go back again soon.😊”
“When I tell you this is real authentic dominican food, it was amazing. The absolute best ive had in a long time. From the meals to the drinks to the decor and music everything was phenomenal. I took my family after a graduation and I cant wait to go back.”
“Coconut water hot pot, I didn't really taste the coconut however it was definitely not as oily as other hot pots. Cleaner and lighter in taste for sure. Chicken dish was also very light, not heavily seasoned or flavored.”
“Food are Great and so delicious! Staff are Nice...outstanding Service.i'm here almost every week. I can't survive a month without eating here🤣🤣🤣”
“Great AYCE KBBQ in Flushing! The marinated meats, especially the garlic steak, are flavorful. Staff cooks everything for you at the table, Gets busy but well worth the visit .”
“My experience at Chi-Mac Zip was very good! The staff are very sweet, the place is clean and has good vibes, the food was delicious and I would highly recommend coming to this place!”
“The location, atmosphere, and venue are all very pleasant. Just keep in mind that if you sit outside at night, the music can make it difficult for the servers to hear the call button when you need assistance. Because of that, I’d like to give a special mention to *Brian, who was the only server consistently attentive to my table while everyone else kept walking past me! *Carlos was also incredibly helpful and accommodating. And the Bulgogi nachos are a 10/10 🫨”
“I had an amazing experience at Golden K Burgers. Golden K Burgers must be one of the best burger places I have eaten at. Firstly, Golden K Burger has such a good party vibe! It is a great place for not just burgers, but also partying!!! The burgers were amazing. We asked for recommendations from the staff, and she suggested The Classic American, The A1, The Farmhouse, and The Bulogoi Burger. Somehow, we ordered all 4, and unfortunately, I never tasted The Classic American. I could say otherwise for the rest of the burgers. The A1 Burger was an amazing burger, the mushroom flavor stood out, and it had a great saucy flavor. The meat was very juicy and soft. The Bulgogi Burger is not as special, it just tastes like marinated beef, and nothing else. The Bulgogi Burger is not worth the money. The Farmhouse was amazing! It had a recognizable smokey flavor, with the crunchy onion, it became a juicy, smokey, crunchy burger! It was my favorite one, and you HAVE to try it! The french fries were very crunchy and delicious, and the meat to bun ratio was perfect! Even though the whole place was busy, the waiters were super kind and helpful. The whole place was clean, and their sofas felt amazing. Their meals come out faster than expected, and they even have an outdoor area for parties, even though you have to reserve it. Speaking of reserving, you HAVE to reserve a seat, online or by calling. We were very lucky, the place was not as packed and I got a seat in less than 10 minutes, but other times, I cannot say the same. Reserving does not take a lot of time, and can save you a lot of time inside the restaurant since it is packed!!! The inside of the restaurant also feels very cramped due to the small space and the number of customers, so it might get uncomfortable. The bottles are also… weird. For some reason, when we got 2 soda drinks from the glass bottles, there was residue on the rim of the bottle, even though it was freshly opened, I suggest drinking from straws! Overall, I love this place, it really deserves a high score on Google Maps. I highly recommend it as one of THE BEST burger places in New York!”
“Everything was super fresh – you can really taste the quality. The chef paced the meal perfectly, following our speed without rushing. Each course came with a short, clear introduction, which made the experience feel thoughtful and personal.
The menu had highlights like toro with caviar, A5 wagyu, and sweet shrimp with uni – all delicious.
Highly recommend if you appreciate fresh ingredients and a relaxed, attentive chef.
Will be back”
“Delicious foods with friendly dining service, a must-visit restaurant in our community.”
“Had dinner here last night and it was fantastic! The flavors were on point, and the service was super friendly. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more dishes.”
“My go to place when visiting mom in Bayside. Incredible Moussaka 5 stars”
“The broth are amazing, food is delicious, and presentation are pretty. We ordered lunch plus $8( iced drink and appetizer).
We definitely we come back , very friendly staff, and very clean restaurant.”
“The Bubble tea is fantastic here! Plus the bobbas are made fresh. Tapioca balls made right in shop. This difference really makes your drink one of the best and is so, so delicious 😋”
“My friend and I wanted some warm soup in the cold winter, so we found this gem around the area!
Really quick service and the owner was so considerate and sweet.
We got the army stew, seafood pancake and steamed dumplings (also can order as fried). Everything hit the spot and we even had enough as leftover to take home as two people eating!
Definitely a really good lunch/dinner spot and will definitely be coming back!”
“The food always tastes good here. Everything is fresh and well prepared. You can really tell they use quality ingredients. Definitely a reliable spot for Korean food.”
“Absolutely delicious. Fresh and beautifully plated. Service is so polite and accommodating. Extensive menu. Love dining here!”

“We always enjoy the food and drinks here. Luisa was a great waitress and we had a nice time there. The chicken champignon (mushroom sauce) was delicious and loaded with mushrooms. Great classic margaritas for under $10 with lunch. ❤️”
“This is a typical Korean BBQ restaurant and liked by many. Food is delicious. A bit expensive but not so much more than other K BBQ. Service is great. Need to choose the right time. Come early or may have to sit outdoor and wait online.”
“I like that this place is hidden among the neighborhood but what really stood out to me was how caring the owner was to each of his customers. You can tell he gets along with the regulars here and profit was not his only main concern. Service like this is what elevates an establishment and gets customers to come back.”
“a hidden gem that only really locals knows about, Daori BBQ place has the most insane lunch special spread, especially for this price (i paid ~$13). every time i’ve been, they’re especially busy around 12pm-1pm. they’re known for their bbq duck.
the deulkkae jang kalguksu (which is dinner sized) was so insanely hearty and filling. i barely made a dent in my barley rice, but i always enjoy eating that with my banchan. i had enough leftovers to have as dinner for tonight and lunch for tomorrow! i can’t recommend this place enough honestly.”
“Large selection of noodle soups, wide noodles are cooked well and good portion size. You must get their Korean pancakes here, best around. Super crispy, fluffy and kind of slightly deep dish style which I haven't seen from any other Korean restaurant. They don't provide a selection of ban chan( sides) just a little kimchi and pickled radish.”
“Not the best Brazilian BBQ I've had, but this place deserves a good rating. All you can eat Brazilian style meat on Wednesday for $30 is a great deal. The flan was delicious as well. This place doesn't exist anywhere else in this side of Queens. Should get more business”
“Tried this place recently and honestly really enjoyed it. The skewers were the best part of the meal for sure. Both the chicken and lamb were super flavorful, tender, and cooked really well. Everything came out fresh and hot, and the seasoning was spot on. We kept ordering more because they were so good.
I also liked how the ordering worked. Every table has an iPad, so you just place your order there and it goes straight to the kitchen. It made everything really easy and convenient, especially when we wanted to add more food without trying to flag someone down. The food came out pretty quickly too.
The other dishes we tried were also solid and paired well with the skewers. One small thing I thought was clever was the bucket they give you to throw away the used skewers. It keeps the table clean and somehow just makes the whole experience feel more organized.
Prices were pretty reasonable considering the quality and amount of food. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome the whole time. Definitely would recommend this spot if you’re craving good skewers and a fun casual meal.”
“My girlfriend and I decided to try something new tonight, I’ve never had Hot Pot before and saw this place had 5 stars across the board so I obviously got curious and as soon as you walk in you see why. The customer service was amazing and that alone is why I would go back. I don’t remember her name but she was so helpfully showing us how things work, the menu etc. it definitely made us feel comfortable. And then on top of that the food is great, the broth is 🤤🤤🤤.
I’ll be turning!”
“We were attending an event at Queens College and wanted to have a lunch/dinner afterwards, so we searched for restaurants nearby. There were many choices, but I was impressed by the website and menu for Piccolo Sogno. Following the event, joined by four friends, my wife and I made the short drive to the restaurant. It was a hot day, and at first we said we would like to dine inside. But the gracious host said we were welcome to check the outside seating first--and we're so glad we did! In the lovely, covered garden, we comfortably began a great feast! Piccolo Sogno has a nice selection of wines and beers as well as sparkling water. That was followed by delicious Calamari Fritti (done to perfection) and a Hot Antipasto Sampler with more calamari, baked clams, eggplant rolatini and amazing fried shrimp. We followed that with Pollo Alla Francese (some of the best I've ever had), Spaghetti Carbonara, Penne Vodka, and Insalata Dello Chef with chicken. These were served with generous side orders of Caesar salad or pasta. The service was friendly, courteous and at a pace that made for a wonderful afternoon. Even though we were extremely well-filled, we ordered dessert, and are so glad we did! The Limoncello Flute was one of the best desserts we've had, as was the Chocolate Mousse. Some iced expresso (wait until you see the special way it is layered!) and coffee would have been the end of a perfect meal, but then Chef Maurizio himself came out to spend some time at our table. After a nice conversation, he took this selfie shot of us all. As we left, the wonderful staff of the restaurant all greeted us and thanked us for coming. I can't remember the last time that happened in such a warm and spontaneous way. I could not more highly recommend a restaurant. We live in Manhattan and have our choice of some of the best restaurants anywhere--but actually, I look forward to returning to Piccolo Sogno!”
“Absolutely fantastic meal! The charcoal-grilled chicken wings were cooked to perfection—crispy, well-seasoned, and packed with a great smoky flavor on the outside, while remaining incredibly juicy on the inside. But the real star of the show was the spicy bullfrog. The meat was unbelievably tender and absorbed all the rich flavors of the broth. It had that perfect, authentic Sichuan 'mala' (spicy and numbing) kick, topped with fresh green chilies and sesame seeds that made it incredibly appetizing. Huge portions and great presentation. Highly recommend this place!”
“The crispy spicy with the elementary spicy is A1. Truffle fries one of the best around and great service”
“After 6 months, I’m back again to Flushing for having Spicy Green Pepper Boiled Fish with Mustard Green, still the best and I can raised my two thumbs up for their consistency”
“so delicious. got it delivered and arrived hot. got pork belly with mushroom, wagyu, short ribs, lamb pork beef, taiwanese sausages. everything was top notch THE ENTIRE WORLD NEEDS TO TRY TAIWANESE SAUSAGE OVER COAL.”
“great omakase good and fresh fish....not bad for Queens location”
“As someone who only gets to go to NYC every now and then, this place is an absolute MUST VISIT. Great vibes, great people. Easy favorite and hopefully new regular spot for me.”
“Went here to watch the Knicks during the Finals and glad I did! The staff is super friendly and the vibe is cozy and nice. Definitely check out Firefly for a chill bar/lounge.”
“the matcha lava and caramel miso cookies were both really good. the matcha cookie had a warm, gooey filling with a nice flavor that wasnt too strong and the caramel miso cookie was soft with a good mix of sweet and salty. id definitely order both again.🙂👌”
“Variety of choices and specialty soup base with ingridients in large portion. Loved the fried lotus pancake and fried pork. The sidedish bar is charged by head count as $3 per person, its reasonable with many great choices and meat cold dishes included as well. Recommend the Orange lemon tea drink to eat along with pots as the soup gets saltier with adding the soup in. Would definitely go back to try other dishes and soup base. One thing to improve is the cups and dishes, saw dusts inside the cup which might from the fan ventilation above the table. I like how their music isnt super loud.”
“Great restaurant, food drink, service. They have the best Canelazos in cold weather.”
“This is the best place I've ever gone to for ramen. The customizable choices are fantastic and the results are always amazing. I have been to dozens of ramen places and I can honestly say I'll never go anywhere else but here. Thank you so much for being nothing short of phenomenal. I will be enjoying many dishes here going forward!!!”
“Absolutely love this place, the environment feels joyful and traditional, the service is pretty quick, the food is very enjoyable and delicious, would come by again!”
“Everything was excellent from start to finish. The chef explained the different fish selections and made the experience enjoyable even for someone who isn’t an omakase expert. Will definitely return.”
“They are known for their duck which is really good. I tried both the regular and thinly sliced and would recommend the regular for the more “meaty” flavor as the thinly sliced was crispy and reminded me of brisket. Great service with very nice side dishes as well. Would come back!”
“Cute cocktail spot nestled in Ridgewood. We were poking around some of the stores nearby and then stopped in for a drink - though we didn’t try, the Monday Greek specials were a pretty good deal, and the cocktails we did order were both good! It’s a unique bar for the area and I’m interested to try the downstairs (bartender said it’s a music / event space) next time when it’s not 5pm on a Monday lol.”
“학원 근처라 자주 오는데 음식이 very 빨리나오는데 짱맛있.. 허걱 ! 직원분들이 너무너무 친절하세용ㅎㅎ 꿀꿀 돼지한마리로써 먹는거 굉장히좋아하는데 강.추 ㅇi런ㅁr슨첨ㅇi양..^^⭐️ 둘이먹다 하나가뒤져도 모를 맛!”
“The food is authentic. Their meat melts in your mouth! Oishii 😋😋😋”
“The best pizza ever! the customer service is amazing! ❤️ Been there a lot of times!”
“The food is very delicious!!!!! The employees are very kind. I go to pickup and dinein, also delivery, too!!!! My best restaurant in Flushing!!!!!!!!”
“I love their '닭발', '닭똥집' but when you order one, Mention 'don't make spicy'.”
“We booked the large private room for our wedding welcome dinner. The staff did a fantastic job taking care of us and all our 60 guests loved the food. The head server Ling Ling was very accommodating to specific dietary requirements and communicated with me clearly about everything that was happening during the evening while making sure I had a great time. Will definitely host large events here in the future!”
“Authentic foods and a great menu. A solid menu and excellent selection of options. Definitely can’t go wrong with this place. Incredibly convenient location as well. I have to compliment the presentation of the foods as well, beautifully done. Quite the culinary experience here. I’d recommend for sure, it’s a really cool place for a date night, or to show your friends. Family friendly as well. Definitely worth checking out”
“Amazing experience at Yula at Leaf Bar! The service was honestly the best. The staff was super friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect the whole time. Drinks were great and the vibe was amazing. Definitely coming back!”
“Royal Queen Restaurant has been a cherished part of my family’s dining tradition for many years. From coming here with my parents years ago to now bringing my own baby niece, this place continues to be our top choice for authentic Chinese dim sum in NYC. The quality is consistently excellent—everything from the har gow to the siu mai is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made. The menu offers a wide variety of dim sum and full entrees, so there’s always something for everyone. While the dim sum may be slightly more expensive than some of the nearby spots, the difference is well worth it. The atmosphere here is far more spacious and elegant, making it a much more comfortable setting for family gatherings compared to the tighter, noisier places in the area. It never feels rushed or overcrowded, which makes the overall experience more enjoyable. Another major plus is the two-hour free parking when you spend $100 or more—a lifesaver when you’re dining with a group like my family of five. It’s convenient, reliable, and takes the stress out of finding parking in Flushing. Whether you’re here for a casual lunch or a special occasion, Royal Queen consistently delivers.”
“Neil & his family are knowledgeable, charming & fun! The items in the shop are fantastic & varied. I have shopped there for years & will continue to do so. And the music he plays in the shop is great, too!”
“I went to Annie’s Kitchen last month, it’s a clean and very busy place, The menu is easy to understand, I had a chicken lo mein with white rice, I also ordered sushi.
Everything was delicious, the chicken was a little salty, the restaurant was more expensive than expected, but aside from that, everything was great.”
“This is the place you go to when you have one friend that wants something small like dim sum, one wants a large dish like beef noodles, or when one just wants a drink. There are other places that have better soup dumplings and etc but few places have the extensive menu and opened late. Got the beef noodles, the soft shell crab which I liked but could be less fried. The scallion pancakes oily and good. I got a Hong Kong style tea with boba. I love how flexible they are here.”

“First time trying Kura Sushi in the US. Much pricier when compared to Japan but pretty much tastes the same. I went today because of the HSR collab and snagged me some of the featured merch. Decent sushi but loved the taiyaki with ice cream. Definitely worth the experience if you've never been before!”
“I got the mango/matcha soft serve! Needless to say, this was one of the most delicious matcha desserts I have had in a long time! I'm a matcha enthusiast and I have been to Maiko before but never had their soft serve. This was exactly what I needed to satisfy my sweet tooth! The flavor is sweet enough and the matcha really come through - I can compare the flavor profile to Chigi no shiro by Marukyu Koyamaen. Overall, this was a perfect dessert for an extreamly warm day in NYC”

“My husband loves the spicy miso ramen here as well as the sesame mochi ice cream. I just ordered Gyudon today and added an extra egg. A very simple dish and tastes so good! Flavorful but not crazy salty! The beef was tender and the rice is of good quality!
We also had the black sesame cheesecake and some matcha pudding! Desserts are good and not sweet which I love!”
“This place is freaking amazing. I had just went to a fancy viral-ish sit down dinner spot a couple nights before, and ordered some falafel, dips, chicken platter situation. Very very tasty. Fast forward to present, hungry, need something in the area. Falafel bites comes along, or rather I come to it, carried by fate. Turns out date wanted to teach me a lesson about value, since this spot completely destroyed the fancy spot at a fraction of the price and fanfare. Falafel, baba, hummus, chicken platter, rice pudding, all among the best I've ever had. And I've had a lot. The owner was so attentive and so nice, she came over to chat as we were finishing up and was quite proud of the food there. So had great reason to be. If you're hungry and you've got 10 bucks on you, I don't think you can really get better than this. Hell if you had 100 bucks on you and the ability to warp anywhere in the city, you might be better off declining and just walking into falafel bites. Place is nuts good.”
“The best bartender Kert welcomed us to New York in the best way!!!!. We moved to the city from Virginia and the amount of emotions we as a group were experiencing from the move were vast. We needed a place to cool down and feel welcomed. Kert DID IT!!!!! BEST DRINKS IVE HAD IN A LONG TIME!!!!!”
Will be back”
“Absolutely fantastic! We ordered the chicken teriyaki, garlic soy wings, spring rolls, and dumplings, and every single dish was incredibly delicious. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and made with great-quality ingredients. The garlic soy wings were especially amazing!
The staff were also incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. Great food, great service, and a wonderful atmosphere. I highly recommend this place, and I will definitely be coming back!”
“After hunting for good Mexican food for over a year, it’s safe to say this place checks all the boxes. The staff are always friendly, the food is divine, and the portions are reasonable. There is limited seating, but it is cozy and nice if the weather is good. I will say, if you order through an app, the portions are quite a bit smaller so it’s worth going in-person. Everything is good so you can’t miss, but I especially love the beans they use in the Al Pastor burrito and the salsa verde.”
“Wow. The absolute kindest people ever, it’s a new spot and the staff are so welcoming!! All organic and they have the best suggestions for what to get. If you’re in the area GO HERE! You will not regret it. Also delicious yogurt and chia pudding - great breakfast/workout snacks.”
“Edit 2026: this used to be my favorite spot around QC until today, I got a pressed juice but the actual juice/fruit they used was so little. After 10 minutes you could see the water to pressed ingredients ratio and it’s so little… I’m disappointed. It’s not the most expensive but if you’re going to sell me this then lower the prices
