“Not enough words to describe how much I love this place.

It is consistently delicious. I will always start off with a Bruschetta or Raddichio Caesar and it hits every time. The pizzas are fantastic and they always have some funky flavor pairings that are surprisingly tasty. There is hardly a wait except on super busy nights (and then barely a wait at all) and the atmosphere is vibey. I have brought many friends and the reviews are always the same: amazing.

“This was one of the places my friend who moved to LA had to come back to during her visit.

They have the best rice cake and sausage (소떡소떡) I’ve had from a chicken shop. The rice cake is the perfect level of crispiness. The sausage is a normal Frankfurt sausage instead of the Korean ones but it’s still okay because their sauce is perfect. Even before eating the chicken, I can tell this is going to be amazing. They have great combo deals which are great for groups and they also give free Cajun fries (which are also good and fresh) a review! Definitely worth trying.”

“I stopped by the Hindu Temple Canteen after visiting the temple and the place delivers exactly what people say about it. The food is simple, fresh and made with the kind of consistency you only get in a temple kitchen.

I tried two plates because I was there with a friend. The pongal was warm, comforting and properly seasoned. The curd vada had a light, balanced taste and felt refreshing. The mixture on the side added a nice crunch. The dosa was crisp, not oily, and the coconut chutney tasted clean. The sambar was mild but paired well with everything.

The canteen is not about presentation. It's about honest food that feels familiar and satisfying. Portions are fair and pricing is very reasonable for New York. If you're already visiting the temple, stopping here makes total sense. It’s quick, reliable and a good break before heading back out.”

“Got stuck waiting for Lirr, I called by the station 10:30 and the manager Steve politely reassured me that they could serve full dining for 1. 5min later walked in and Steve greeted me with a warm welcome like we were old friends (i’m not from NY lol). the bar by the entry felt inviting but modern and Nyan the bartender picked a great cocktail for me to start as i viewed the menu options. i decided on ordering from the grill selection so was promptly sat at a table booth where Anthony my server helped me select the perfect blend of options and also informed me of happy hour deals for the night.
halfway through my great dining service experience with Anthony, Steve made sure to stop by and check in on me which i appreciated as this was a group night out type of spot and eased my worries coming solo.
Kimchi was fresh-Kalbi was well marinated and grilled for me, and i enjoyed each side dish and veggie options that came with the ayce option! Service and venue 10/10 price2foodquailty 9.8/10!”

The service is super nice and friendly, but it’s a takeout-only spot, so keep in mind that you'll need to find a place to eat—unless you can't wait and just eat right there! We walked all the way to Tangram Mall to sit down, but by then, the food was already cold.

When the server asks if you want sauce, make sure to get everything. If you like heat, ask for extra Sriracha; if you prefer something nutty and saucy, ask for more peanut butter sauce. I also grabbed a tea egg for just $1—an absolute steal and very tasty! It leans more sweet than savory, which reminded me of tea egg sweet soup.
It’s definitely worth the money and worth a try if you’re already in Flushing.”

And the place is clean they always clean the place they mop and brush the floor, clean the windows. The supplies are usually restocked . If they have it in the back or somewhere they will check and no if there its not because no one wants it its because they care about you and what we need and want because I go there almost everyday they have orders to restock everything AT LEAST 2-3 ( key word: AT LEAST). The beef noodle soup was delicious — perfectly cooked noodles and big chunks of tender beef shank. The broth was so flavorful. I didn’t finish it, so I saved some for the next day, and it still tasted great.

I also ordered the fried sticky tofu, which
was amazing — honestly, it tasted even better the next day.

The server is a very polite and friendly young man, and the owner/chef is a lovely lady. The restaurant is very clean as well. If I wasn’t trying to stay on a diet, I would visit them every week!”

Since the crepes are made to order from scratch when you order, it’s ~10mins wait depending on how busy they get. It can get pretty busy with lines but definitely worth it.”

My son's big day today and I took a trip here to pick up my custom strawberry cake layered with their famous lightly sweetened freshly whipped cakes. When you step inside It's as if you step back in time. My mom first took me here when I was 11 or 12 and this place still look the same. The bakery captures a lot of customers from the surrounding businesses such as the hospital. It's great to see a flow a diverse crowd visiting this Gem. I also picked up half dozen curry beef pastry and their chicken rolls. I took a bite and taste just like my first time eating them in the 1990s when I was a little boy. When I want a good delicious healthier cake I come to Yeh's.”

We also ordered thin-skin steamed mantas, the onion and meat one is very good, but the squash meat one was lack of flavor. Next time I’ll stick with the onion meat ones. If you’re looking for REAL Egyptian flavor, you have to try Falafel Bites in Brooklyn! I just went, and honestly… this is the closest taste to home I’ve had in the U.S. Every single dish was fresh, flavorful, and made with true Egyptian soul.

The falafel was perfectly crispy, the koshary tasted exactly like downtown Cairo, and the tahini sauce was on another level. The staff were so warm and welcoming, specially cherry it felt like visiting family.

The real surprise, though, was the creamy pasta with cod roe. Rich, silky, and packed with flavor, it was one of the best fusion pasta dishes I’ve ever had. It paired so well with the chicken that I’d recommend getting both.

And I can’t forget the homemade chips with a dried-shrimp dip. I honestly can’t even explain how good it was—unique, savory, and addictively delicious. It’s the kind of dish you keep thinking about long after the meal is over.

The main draw for me was the desserts themselves. I loved that everything was not too sweet, which is exactly what I prefer. While the signature dessert was perfectly fine, it wasn't remarkable for me, so I'm looking forward to exploring the rest of their menu on my next visit.

More importantly, the menu description for the sesame balls was unclear, and the waitress failed to mention that the item was fried when I ordered. This lack of transparency is concerning, especially for customers who need to be cautious about preparation methods due to dietary restrictions or allergies. Hopefully, they clarify the menu and preparation methods in the future.

In terms of convenience, the location stands out. They offer a great self-service screen for quick takeout orders, which is a nice bonus. Attentional, the staff was patient, accommodating, and spoke fluent English when answering my questions.
