We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.”

“Stopped by the Hindu Temple Canteen for breakfast and tried the Pondicherry Dosa, Rava Masala Dosa, Vada, and Madras Coffee.

The Pondicherry Dosa was crispy on the outside with a flavorful filling inside. The Vada was really good, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The Rava Masala Dosa was a little oilier because it's made differently, but still tasted good. Both dosas tasted pretty similar once dipped in the chutney and sambar.

The Madras Coffee was really good too. Everything was fresh, and the prices were reasonable. Our total was only $30.48.

Overall, a nice spot for a simple South Indian breakfast. I'd definitely come back!”

And the place is clean they always clean the place they mop and brush the floor, clean the windows. The supplies are usually restocked . If they have it in the back or somewhere they will check and no if there its not because no one wants it its because they care about you and what we need and want because I go there almost everyday they have orders to restock everything AT LEAST 2-3 ( key word: AT LEAST). But place is amazing realy I recommend”

“I have tried this restaurant several times, and I must say my experience has been completely positive. From the very first time I walked in, I felt this was a different kind of place. The interior is simple and unpretentious, but the smell of the food coming from the kitchen keeps you there.

Let me start with the good things. The Chopped Cheese sandwich here is truly outstanding. I have tried this sandwich at several different places in New York, and I can honestly say this is one of the best I have ever had. The ground meat, melted cheese, onions, and fresh bread come together and create a flavor that makes you want to come back. Every time I come here, the first thing I order is this. Their bread is fresh and soft, and the meat is cooked well — not dry, not raw. The cheese melts completely and spreads evenly over the ingredients.

The omelets here are also good, especially the cheese and vegetable omelet, which is both fresh and generously portioned. I usually come in the morning and order an omelet, and I have always been satisfied. The eggs are fresh and the vegetables they put inside are not wilted. The breakfast sandwiches are also a good option, like the bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich, which is filling and hearty.

The fresh juices are also a good choice for breakfast or an afternoon snack. I have ordered fresh orange juice several times and it has always been fresh and cold. Their smoothies are not bad either, especially on a hot day.

One of the things that makes this place special for me is the speed of service. Even when it is busy, they prepare your order quickly and you do not have to wait very long. The staff are usually friendly, and if you have a question, they answer.

This restaurant is open 24 hours, which makes it a good option for anyone who gets hungry in the middle of the night. I have gone late at night several times and it has always been open with food available. This is very valuable to me, because there are not many places that are always open and also have good food.

The prices, in my opinion, are reasonable. For the quality you get, you are not paying much. Of course, I always look at the menu before ordering and then place my order. I have never had a problem.

The seating area inside is small, but clean and tidy. They clean the tables quickly and the staff pay attention to cleanliness. It is a good spot for a quick sit-down meal.

Overall, I recommend this restaurant for its Chopped Cheese and its breakfast. If you are in the Queens area, definitely give it a try. I have always left this place satisfied, and I am sure that if you try it, you will not be disappointed.”

The female workers that work there are amazing. $2.50 each for an empanada is still pretty decent. It's located on Northern Blvd, and has a small parking lot as well.It's similar to most other combined Baskin-Robbins and Dunkin Donuts locations I have been to. The chicken with rice was incredibly satisfying with generous portions, and the ramen was rich, comforting, and packed with flavor.

My son's big day today and I took a trip here to pick up my custom strawberry cake layered with their famous lightly sweetened freshly whipped cakes. When you step inside It's as if you step back in time. My mom first took me here when I was 11 or 12 and this place still look the same. The bakery captures a lot of customers from the surrounding businesses such as the hospital. It's great to see a flow a diverse crowd visiting this Gem. I also picked up half dozen curry beef pastry and their chicken rolls. I took a bite and taste just like my first time eating them in the 1990s when I was a little boy. This place has been around as far back as I can remember in the 90s predating tony bourdain’s visit to xian famous foods and by at least a decade. Same mom and pop running this place. Prices have dramatically shot up since flushing became a food tourist spot, but still competitive for the area. The tea eggs are a personal favorite. Bring cash.”

“*4/5 stars — Great hall and food, one staffing issue*

We held our event at this hall and overall it was a really nice experience. The venue is clean, well-decorated, and has a great layout for guests. The food was a standout — fresh, hot, and flavorful. Everyone at our table commented on how good it was.

The only issue we ran into was with one of the volunteer staff members. Instead of serving, he sat down and ate with the guests. He also cleared plates and removed food from the table while people were still eating. It was awkward and threw off the flow of the meal a bit.

Outside of that, the rest of the team was attentive and the manager was responsive when we mentioned it. For the quality of the hall and food, I’d still recommend booking here. Hopefully they address the volunteer training so guests can finish their meals in peace.

It's a interesting experience with having sushi going around on a conveyer belt. If you don't see the sushi you want, you can just order via the tap screen.

“Stopped by the Hindu Temple Canteen for breakfast and tried the Pondicherry Dosa, Rava Masala Dosa, Vada, and Madras Coffee.

The Pondicherry Dosa was crispy on the outside with a flavorful filling inside. The Vada was really good, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The Rava Masala Dosa was a little oilier because it's made differently, but still tasted good. Both dosas tasted pretty similar once dipped in the chutney and sambar.

The Madras Coffee was really good too. Everything was fresh, and the prices were reasonable. Our total was only $30.48.

Overall, a nice spot for a simple South Indian breakfast. I'd definitely come back!”

“Been here a few times. Best skewer place in this area or matter of fact anywhere near here outside of Flushing. Food is always fresh and good and service is great. The 2+1 specials on the drinks with soju and beer is awesome. The place looks very clean and new. Very roomy as well where you’re not crowded with other customers and AC works great during hot weather.

This trip we had the pig head salad along with assortment of skewers. All amazing. The meat with salad was so refreshing.

They also gave us this entire dish of crabs for $1!!! It was so good as well.”

“As a person who grew up in Hunan, China which loves rice noodles either with soup or dry stirred. They have decent rice noodles and great flavors. They also let you customize your own taste with spices, chilli oil, sour string beans and more stuff you can add yourself which give the customer lots of freedom while adjusting a flavor that they will like the most. “Finding a genuinely great banh mi right now is like finding a legal parking spot in NYC, highly contested, and an absolute miracle when you finally do. Banh Mi TBD is that miracle.

While half the city is trying to reinvent the sandwich with bizarre trendy fusions, this place respects the foundations. The baguette has that perfect, violent crunch that will aggressively exfoliate the roof of your mouth, while the inside is packed with the exact right ratio of savory meats to fresh, pickled veggies. Do yourself a favor and stick with the Classic, paired with a Vietnamese iced coffee. Fair warning on the coffee: it’s so strong you might vibrate into another dimension, or at least finally get all your errands done in record time.

Everything is good so you can’t miss, but I especially love the beans they use in the Al Pastor burrito and the salsa verde.”
