This is an authentic northern China barbecue. If you order 20 or more skewers, you get to grill yourself and the experience is phenomenal. You could grill to exactly how you like. They have an auto skewer rotation mechanism so it's really easy. Remember to marinate the meat before since the food has only mild marination. The service is pretty quick, but there are kind of busy. The ambience is casual, a good place to go with friends.
Controversial place. As evident from the reviews most people give it a 5 for food or 1 for deficient service. Been here twice now so I'd have to go with the food folks, which is legit good IMHO. So far no issues with the service either, but I might just be exceptional. I do see the angry people's perspective though, but it's not worth getting worked up over.
