Not bad, but not insanely great either. It’s definitely for the locals who crave an affordable comfort food in NY.

It’s a small cramped hole in the wall place. But it churns out great rice rolls at affordable prices. I got the shrimp rice roll with scallions and an egg. There’s a half hour wait so make sure you have plenty of time or you can do what I did and order go get other food and come back to pick up your meal. The skin of the rice roll is soft and smooth. The egg and scallions add texture and the shrimp was cooked just right.

A cash only hole in the wall that serves steam rice noodle . Each rice noodle comes with 3 vegetables ( scallions, beansprout, lettuce, corn)I prefer the shrimp roll over the signature. My shrimp roll had 5 pieces of shrimp. A small order was filling for me.Adding an egg is $1. They like to upsell here and will ask if you want egg.I feel like none of the meat in the signature roll were seasoned. The dried shrimp was nonexistent .Soymilk was way water down or under extracted. 1/5.The food is made to order and I had never waited longer than 10 minutes. There is no restroom and they advise to go to the nearby malls. Bring your own sanitizer/ lysol wipes. This would not be a good place for groups since counter seating is limited and first come first serve.-1 starThis place is dirty. I have never seen them clean the countertop or the spoons for the hot sauce or even wiped down the soy sauce bottles. I am usually there at the less busy time.I didn't get corn in my steamed rolls and a piece showed up. I am not a fan of this cross contamination. I would not go here if you have seafood allergy or a vegetarian.

The front desk here is really terrible. They spilled soy milk all over me. My new clothes and bags were all covered in soy milk. They didn’t even say a word of apology. They didn’t even give me a tissue. Instead, they turned around to answer the phone. I was really speechless! ! ! I have never seen a receptionist do this! At that time, I congratulated her whole family from the bottom of my heart! You should have a work attitude at work! If you don’t want to do this job, you can change it! The customer is here to spend money, so he doesn’t owe you any money! ! !

Love this "hole in the wall" stall which serves fresh and delicious rice rolls. Customizable vegetarian and vegan options. Fairly inexpensive. Can be packed at times so you might have to get your food to go but it is well worth it. Their soy sauce for the rice rolls are to die for.

Definitely overhyped. The rice rolls are so bad. The texture is too hard, and the flavor of the rice rolls and its sauce are both incredibly bad. The char siu is super gamey / old, and I love dried shrimp but this is the fishiest shrimp I've ever had. The soy sauce is so gross, definitely doesn't go with the rice rolls at all. You'll have a much better meal getting rice rolls from any random restaurant in the Manhattan Chinatown

It was not the best, but if you want to get the steamed rice roll of the same name, go to the one in the city.

It's a quick spot for steamed rice rolls. There's limited counter seating.Ordered the Joe's signature steamed rice rolls. It's even better if you add soy sauce and the hot chili oil!

The service experience was disappointing, particularly during the ordering process where the staff came across as discourteous. This aspect of service could be improved. I am hesitant to recommend this establishment.

This is the go to place for the best rice noodle rolls with plenty of options without breaking your bank. I ordered small shrimp noodle rolls with egg and vegetable and it only cost $ 6.00. It’s very filling $6.00. Of course you can upgrade to bigger portion with more shrimp or meats. I mean theses days $6.00 buy you very little. For those of you who don’t mind the hole in the wall presentation, this is the place.Parking: Best to take the subway, 7 train last stop in Queens.
